Mike Jenkins is one of the most underrated poets of Wales. He writes in a deceptively simple style that beautifully conveys the world as he knows it. Humane, cosmopolitan and passionate, these poems sing to us of the injustices and the possibilities, the wrongs and what could be done to right them. Time and again the poems both move and inspire. This is a poet at the height of his powers producing extraordinary work.
