The fifth serial in this series, this installment has Grace being kidnapped by Adam, yet again. She resolves to not forgive him this time, but her determination fades the moment he touches her. Then, it's back to the same old love/hate antics that filled earlier installments.
As much as I love this trope, this particular story is getting redundant. I mean, how many times can you repeat the same thing over and over and expect readers to be held in suspense? It is repetitive and irritating.
That being said, the writing is pretty good and there is a big upset at the end. As perturbed as I was with most of this serial, I have to admit that Ms. Litton does a good job of hooking you again at the end.
Now, I'm questioning whether or not I should pick up the next installment to see how things play out, even though I know I'm probably in for more of the same-old, same-old. Argh!

Still dark and twisted, this was engaging as always. But being a serial, the plot was nudged along, with no real advancement in the relationship between the MCs. Maybe I should just wait for this series to be finished. The cliffhangers are pretty annoying and the interaction between the MCs is always the same. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Grace: I'm mad at you. You're controlling me just like my psycho family.
Adam: I know. But I need you. I can't admit that I love you because I don't even know if I can love anyone like that. But I'll do anything to keep you with me. And I'm also slightly crazy too.
Grace: I'm still attracted to you, even when you make me mad.
Adam: Good. Let's have sex.
Grace: I'll fight you, but I can't resist your amazing body for long.
Maybe if I got more of the story in one sitting, I would be able to enjoy this more. I'm going to wait so I can read rest in one fell swoop.

#teamAdam all day!!!
I believe this installment is the most dramatic in the series! Adam and Grace are back in Switzerland.....I won't ruin it for you by providing details, but DAYYYUMMMM! Adam's caveman tactics are FLAWLESS! This dude is tooooooo much toooooo perfect!
I love Josie's writing technique. Her writing is so eloquent and passionate! In this installment, Grace is determined to fight the obvious. She's a tough cookie. In one scene her fight escalates to another level and all bets are off! Adam says to Grace after a particularly nasty confrontation...
"You will bend,” I said. “For me, whenever and however I wish.” My breath catching, I added, “But you will never break. You’re far too strong for that and besides, I won’t let you.”
Ermagawd! Sexiest thing ever! Then something happens.....something BIG! So big only the ultimate sacrifice will buy time needed for a solution! All I will say is Sebastian is a complete bastard and his demise will be a painful one.....
OHMYFREAKING goodness this story is soooooooo awesome! It's not a faced paced story. It's a story meant to savor, to tease the senses, a story mean to seduce as well as entertain! I absolutely love it and I cannot wait for the next installment!

Lovely
Grace is back and she is stronger with so much fierce in her. I really love this series. The alpha male is so beautifully written. This book is about drama hitting the fan and the book cutting off right at the moment where you turn the page and scream """" why"""""???? No no these cliff hangers are painful.

If there was ever a binge-worthy series, this is it. I can't believe I haven't found Josie Litton sooner, but now that I have, I have my TBR list full. Adam and Grace's story is dark, suspenseful, twisty, and fast moving. Their chemistry, even in their relationships most challenging times, is undeniable. I'm not sure how any reader lasted without being able to read all these stories at once, but i'm so glad I did. First book is free and the rest are free with your KU subscription. Great Series!!

What a cliffhanger ending. What will happen to Grace? Will Adam save her? This series has me so wrapped up I can't put these books down. So much suspense mixed with a love story. Will Grace finally tell Adam her family situation and ask for his help into the matter? So many questions and not enough answers. Now to read book six.

This was long book but in between life and everything else I finished all 1045 pages could not put it down!! I loved the story and the ending . Familey greed will get it’s just in the end. Josie litton is a great writer love her books, I really want to read sleeping beauty . All I have to say is wow a very good book 📚

Captivating!
This has been one of the best & yet heartbreaking series I have read in a very long time! I can't put it down...it has been so rocky, but filled with passion and longing. I'm off to take on CHOSEN PART 6!

This felt like stalemate. Most of the storyline was Adam and Grace working on their so called relationship. The storyline took a step forward in the last chapter. It leads into book 6 with retribution. Good, but could have intertwined book 5 with 4.

Wow thank goodness I was able to read this as a complete book because as a serial the word TORMENT comes to mind if I'd had to wait for each installment. A very riveting story with sensuality and edginess the key words to this compelling story that hold your attention in a vise!

The saga continues. I love Adam and Grace's story, however this book started off really slow and not much happened until the very end of this short continuation. I'm really looking forward to finding out what happens next. If you're reading this review and all of the books are already out, you are sooooo lucky. The waiting has been torture - especially for someone like me who hates cliffhanger endings. The good news is, the author has a note in this book that states she knows it was a big lull between books 4 and 5 and she's hoping to get the future books out much sooner as well as have the series all wrapped up soon. I'm not a fan of short serial books so the fact that I'm reading this series before it's complete is a testament to how good these books are.

Adam and Grace return in this newest installment of the Allure series by Josie Litton. The couple are as fabulous as ever and don't get me started on their chemistry, freaking off-the-charts hot for sure! The story pick right off where book #4 ended and Grace is not happy at all with what she perceives as her lover's betrayal. However, from Adam's point of view, this is only his attempt to protect what's his and nobody will get in the way of that, not even his beloved. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I'm really liking where the story is heading. I cannot wait to read on and to know Adam's next move, how he's going to react to the new chain of events- he'll probably go berserk and I absolutely cannot wait!

I finished this ARC within a day because as always, Josie Litton's books are full of cliffhangers & I'm always kept on the edge reading it!
This one is no exception, though the cliffhanger this book ends on seem similar to the one in her ANEW series. I can't wait for the next installment; this edition seem to be a bridge to the next one rather than an explainer to some of the questions readers have of Adam Falzon.
One thing I'm surprised though is that although this is the 5th book in this series, it doesn't seem to be dragging on unnecessarily & I hope it stays that way.

Loved, Loved this Book!
This book was captivating, sexy,suspenseful and caught you unaware!! This book pulled you into the story and had you breathless. It had you eager too turn the page for more, but savoring what you already read. The entire Chosen series had me hooked from the first book. I can not wait for the next book. I love this author's dark romance books. Twist Me and Capture Me my other favorites.

Captivating, Out of all the books in the series so far this one is definetly the most captivating . Finally we get to know the real Adam , what drives him and the truth behind the ice. Grace finally understands that she is more than just America 's princess and she intends to bring an end to the Delaney dynamics . Sebastian makes a play for head of the family and only grace 's decision can choose if Adam survives. can she forgive Adam and if she can what price will she have to pay to save him?

I love how parts of the past books are talked about, it helps remembering what has happened along the way. The love Adam has for Grace is enormous if only Grace would cooperate. Love this series, short quick reads that are full of intense situations.

Chosen Part Five continues on the Allure series, I love this series. As before, Josie Litton does not disappoint. The story continues on with Grace and Adam, ending in a cliffhanger. I look forward to the next book.

I'm sitting here crying after reading part five, and feel like I'm dying. Such a beautiful, understated story that I didn't realize the full impact until the last few pages. Now, I want to speed through the rest of the series and find out what happens!!!
