Okay, I LOVE the author. Unfortunately, this book was a bit disappointing.
I saw a lot of parallels with the Degradation.
Wulf - Jameson
Eden - Ang
Katya - sort of Tate but with zero self-esteem
I hated that she was constantly putting herself down.
But the ending was shocking - NEVER saw that one coming. Stylo again managed to prove that she is a great author. So even though this is not my favourite work of hers, I will read the sequel.

Stylo Fantome has been on my radar for some time now. I kept seeing all these fabulous reviews for her books and my Bestie devours her books. When I saw the blurb for NEIGBORS, I figured now’s the time to try this author out. Well, one thing is for sure, Stylo can write some pretty SCORCHING HOT sexy time scenes. There are a plethora of them within the pages of this book!! This is a love triangle but in all honesty, the people involved are single and no commitments have ever been made. The heroine makes both men aware that she is having relations with the two of them. So those who don’t like triangles can actually read this one.
Katya Tocci is a young woman who lives a very dull and ordinary existence. At the urging of her roommate, she joins an online dating site in order to spice things up a bit. Her profile catches the eye of her very gorgeous neighbor, Liam Edenhoff. Liam has seen Katya around but never approached her because she appeared to be virginal and dresses like a librarian. He’s completely surprised by her racy online profile and decides to pursue her. The two end up making plans to meet up at his sex club. Katya agrees to go only because she wants to prove to Liam that she is not the demure woman that he has made her out to be in his head, but Katya really is quite innocent and this is taking her way out of her comfort zone. Now here’s where my eyes were rolling!! They end up having sex in a booth, right out in the open for all the club goers to see. To top it all off, she even has anal sex for the first time in said booth!!!! I’m not sure that a woman who has never lived life on the wild side before would partake in such overtly sexual escapades!! I started to get mildly irritated with the number of times the heroine mentions having anal sex with Liam! It felt like not a day could go by where she wasn’t mentioning it or thinking of it.
The next day, Katya runs into an old crush from her past in the bakery that she works at. At first, it seems as if Wulfric Stone doesn’t even recognize her but he soon is ordering her to meet him later on for dinner. This man was the unattainable boy next door from Katya’s childhood. Wulf is several years older and never paid her any attention back in the day but he was definitely the star of all of her romantic fantasies. Wulf is still devastatingly handsome, an alpha male to the extreme, and never really shows Katya what’s going on inside his heart.
Katya carries on relationships with both men but it is obvious who holds her heart and whom she only sees as being a really good friend. I definitely was on Team Wulf!! Men who act like assholes usually do it for me in books!! As time goes on Katya feels that she can’t keep things going with two men. Her conscience is eating away at her.
I struggled for a while with this book because I didn’t like the Heroine so much. I kept thinking of her as a doormat. But once I got to the 72% mark, I was HOOKED!!!! The story gets very intense. I was laughing, then swooning, and by the end I was furious!!! I just need to know what happens next after one hell of a cliffhanger we are left with!!!!

How many times have we read the "Good girl gone bad" character? Mostly, they are poorly characterized, elitist (in their 'good girl world') and contrived. Katya wasn't perfect but I liked her. She didn't vacillate; one day she was very good and the next, she just wasn't and she owned it. Wulfric was a bit of a cliche but not to the point of eye-rolls and snorts. Liam was the supposed 'bad boy with feelings'. Then we have the obligatory 'best friend', Tori. All perfectly nice people.
How does a woman go from no BF and no dates to having two very hot, very eligible men? Ha ha ha, you can only wish you were a character living in Fantome's world. So, Katya gets with both men and then emotions swirl, love gets thrown in and betrayals abound. What will she do with these men who turned her nice quiet life into a Telemundo soapie?
Hopefully, all will be revealed in The Neighborhood.

Upset that Liam thought she was boring, Katya challenged Liam and agreed to go with him on a date to the sex club that he owns. Well, as it turns out that date to the sex club awakened a bold Katya who was willing to have sex in public. As it turns out, Liam let loose a new Katya who was willing to be open and not so boring. As the good neighbor that Liam was, he soon formed a meaningful friendship with Katya that happens to have casual uninhibited sex.
As Katya says goodbye to her boring sex life, she runs into another neighbor. Well, her childhood neighbor from her hometown that she had a big crush on. Wulfric Stone is a successful, prominent, and domineering man. As a self-made millionaire and entrepreneur, Wulfric doesn’t need to beg as he demands your attention. And so when Wulf asked Katya to dinner, Katya knew that she wanted Wulf. She wanted him the moment he laid eyes on her. As Katya gives into her sexual desires and lust to Wulf, she begins to fall for Wulf hard. Everything about this man consumes her. She wanted him but Wulf’s closed off heart made her want to break and shatter through his hard exterior. When Katya thought she broke into his hard exterior and learns the reason of why he is closed off, she thought she finally won the heart of Wulf but only to learn that he can’t let her in.

AHHHH that ending!!!! Stylo Fantome you are an evil genius because I NEED to know what happens next. Who does she choose? I will be completely honest with you, I thought Liam was the one who had my heart then of course Stylo had to write Wulf in such a way that I found myself gravitating towards him. And then Stylo had to drop the biggest bombshell ever. I wanted to hate both men and then I wanted to love both of them. I will be completely honest with you I have a favorite and I am rooting for this hero to win.
“I want you to look at me in that way you do – like I'm everything ,” he said in a simple voice. “I want to see that look every single day. When I wake up, when I go to sleep, all the time. I want to be the only man that gets to touch you, hold you, kiss you. I want you to know ... know that I look at you the same way. Like you're everything. You're everything to me.”
I will say it one more time, Neighbors was a phenomenal read. This book is not your conventional love triangle. This book was just more than romance, sex, lust, and passion. This book was about rediscovering your identity and finding strength. And Stylo Fantome did a remarkable job highlighting the transformation of Katay Tocci. She allowed readers to no longer see Katya as a wallflower but instead as someone who is finding her voice. Her identity. Her own splash of color. So if you are looking for a bold romance that was brilliant, unique, scintillating, and intoxicating then I highly urge you to read this addictive read.

I was bouncing in my seat like a hooker on dick while reading this one.
"You fuck a random stranger one time, and suddenly you've got more men on your hands than you know what to do with."
I loved it. The drama, the questions, the sex, the character growth - from all three of them. And the ending. OH BOY! Please, please don't make me wait long to see what happens.
"Buh-bye, old-Katya. Can't say I'll miss you. Thanks for all the beige clothing."

This story is about a heroine named Katya Tocci who is a boring twenty-three year old baker. With a push from her outgoing roommate, Tori, they make a dating profile which is totally the opposite her ‘beige’ personality. The girls live in an apartment building outside downtown San Francisco –which is one of two buildings called Twin Estates.
”Katya didn’t mind boring. Boring was…secure. Boring paid the rent. Yeah, but boring doesn’t get you laid. And somewhere, deep in the darkest corner of her mind, she’d begun to admit to herself that boring simply wasn’t good enough anymore.”
This dating profile quickly gets the attention of Liam Edenhoff the sexy neighbor from the twin building who owns a sex club. Liam pushes Katya’s boundaries and releases her inner vixen.
”Alright, angel cake. Let’s see how far you’ll take this cute little act.”
Liam and Katya are pretty hot together and a reader will think they know where the story is going until another neighbor is added to the mix. Wulfric Stone is her childhood neighbor, the swim god, and the star of all her teenage fantasies. Wulfric pursues Katya as well and these two men leave her struggling to not go back to ‘beige’ and see where things go. Though very early on her feelings are much stronger for one than the other.

The story is interesting as is the cliffhanger ending. I did struggle with not connecting and/or liking the heroine. I found her annoying and dumb though she is supposed to be naïve. Some scenes in the story like the return home and the cake scene all didn’t work for me either. I’m filling to four stars because I adore the author’s writing style but as for the heroine and storyline 3 so I’m rating the difference. I’m looking forward to the conclusion of this story and what Katya does next.

WHOA...that cliffy ripped my heart out. I have NO clue how either of these dudes is going to come back from their massive fuck up...
I must say I enjoyed the HELL out of this one. I'm not usually a fan of love triangles, but it worked for me in this case. Sure there were parts that were a little ridiculous. I mean the whole "introvert - wallflower - good-girl" to "anal sex - exhibitionist in a sex club" was a little unbelievable, but you know what? I didn't even care. This author can WRITE and she sucked me into this one from word go. I was #TeamLiam until Wulf firmly commanded me to his side. Now I am #TeamCutTheirBallsOff.
My only disappointment, that I haven't got my ARC of book two yet because I CANNOT wait to see where this thing is heading. It better include some EPIC levels of groveling that's all I am saying...

I’ll start by saying that I’ve read some of Stylo’s previous releases and really enjoyed them. Below, I mention some of my issues in a vague sort of way, but please be aware that it MAY be a little spoilerish.
Unfortunately, Neighbors left a bad taste in my mouth. I’m not a fan of a heroine that allows her self-doubts to put her in danger. Yes, I’m all into experimenting and experiencing new things but to place such trust in practically a stranger is crazy. I did not feel “turned on” by the initial sex scene. There were too many things that made me feel like she was being taken advantage of by her new friend, Mr Experimental.
The heroine is feeling a little worse for wear after her sexual adventure, drags herself to work where she has an unusual meeting with an old family friend. We are informed she had a crush on him years ago. Maybe I missed something, but this guy is a douchewaffle of epic proportions. I did not find Mr Douchewaffle appealing at all. Unfortunately, because of her attraction to him, she allows him into her world.
So, the heroine comes clean to Mr Experimental AND Mr Douchewaffle that they’re both in her life. Happy, happy, joy, joy…they’re OK with that…for awhile.
By this stage, Neighbors is leaving me unsettled, but I'm willing to keep going because I'm hoping it gets better.
I don’t particularly like the main characters but I especially hate that this woman thinks so lowly of herself. It's obvious, she's uncomfortable with the situation and eventually acknowledges that she feels more for one than the other.
(I'm completely lost as to how she can have feelings for these guys)
Mr Douchewaffle doesn’t stop being a douchewaffle. Mr Experimental acts all sweet and kind. Guess who she’s thinking of keeping????
Then, that ending put me over the edge. Considering this is book one in the series, I can honestly say that I don’t want an HEA for any of the buggers.

5 Woof for Wulf Stars!!
Freakin' loved it!!! Even the parts that made me uncomfortable or maybe because of the parts that made me uncomfortable.
I'm not going to go into the plot on this one as I think it's best to go in blind. There is a big 'twist' that I thought was pretty obvious but some may not. What I will say is I found Katya Tocci a superb mess!! She seemed to be going through her coming of age a little later than some, one minute being a holier than thou goodie two shoes and the next she's just letting it all go. I found her a little annoying but that seemed to add to the story for me.
I liked Liam as he was fun BUT I was team Wulf all the way!! Give me a dark broody troubled alpha man anyday over a too kind and sweet boy. The heat was scorching between Katya and Wulf with their almost brutal love making.
This was a twisted, hot as F#$K well written book that will have you hooked from start to finish. I am super excited to continue this series.

I'm a little biased, what can I say.
It all started with a weird mid-morning dream, and ended with a kinda sorta not really love triangle.
So to say Wulf, Liam, and Katya sprung fully formed from the ether is an understatement. But I'm very glad they did and each one taught me a little something about life, love, and tacos.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I’m stunned into silence. I’m not even joking. The last 10% was SO unexpected I was just NOT prepared for it. At. All.
This is most definitely a five star read. Shit like this doesn’t happen to me and it not turn out to be a five star. Fuck. I feel like I’ve been ran thru a blender!
Reading this made me realise reading can still be fun. It made me think yeah omg books can still be wild and crazy and messy but so entertaining and I can be having the best time of my life. I’m genuinely so excited about reading again I just can’t stop appreciating this author for shifting this bright ray of joy to shine its warmth back on me. I never knew I missed this feeling till it was back. I never even realised I even felt this way till I discovered Mrs Fantome.
I’ve never experienced books like what this author writes. She’s so cherished by me I’m not even joking rn.

Way better than just borrowing a cup of sugar from your sexy neighbor. If you've read a Stylo Fatôme book you know her stories are always sexy, mysterious and perhaps a little bit weird, which is why I'll forever need her books in my life. This author always brings it up a notch, and Neighbors was one hell of an entertaining, crazy ride.
Katya Tocci lives a pretty boring life. Her focus for years has been on her career as a baker, she's not a risk taker, she a good wholesome girl, who's always doing the right thing. It's been quite a while since her last relationship, so her best friend/roommate has convince Katya to create an online dating profile in order to meet someone new. Her crazy roommate embellished Katya's profile a bit, and soon she catches the interest of a sexy man who happens to be her neighbor.
Liam aka Eden, lives in the building next to Katya's, he's noticed her before because she's gorgeous but he never approached her because of her frumpy librarian look, thinking he's too wild for her. But after reading her sexy profile he's decided to invite her out to his club.

Neighbors is a wickedly, delicious, sexy, omg read. The books ends on a cliffy but it's a cliffy that just makes you rub your hands together knowing the next book is gonna be soooooooooo goooooood!!!
Katya Tocci is your everyday girl. She went to school, she graduated, has a job as a top notch sought out baker in San Francisco and she's in a dating rout. She's not wild and crazy but when a online dating profile gets jazzed up by her roommate, Tori......Katya's life changes in sooooooo many amazing ways.
Liam Edenhoff.......he's a Neighbor and boy I never had someone like him around when I was living on my own. He's it ladies......he's Cute, Sexy, Flirty, Rich, Fun, Caring, Sweet, and knows how to Satisfy!! He is a great guy with a naughty side. Katya is like no other woman he's known and he wants her. He awakens the sexy Katya hidden within.......she becomes his Angel Cakes!!!!
Wulfric Stone, he was a Neighbor. He's Handsome, Sexy, Arrogant, Moody, Rich, Demanding, Controlling, and he also knows how to Satisfy!!! He is the bad boy that is cocky but has that softer side that only Katya has seen. He TAKES what he wants and he wants Katya.
Two men, two neighbors, and they both want Katya. I want to be Katya.
This triangle of sorts is a sexual awaking for Katya. She's a boring type of girl but wants a change, she thinks. These two men bring out a new Katya with a mix of the old. Each relationship is hot and sexy but meaningful and freeing. But being with two men usually doesn't end well, it can't. Even though Katya is honest with both men about the other........she has to be honest with herself.
I love Katya's inner turmoil about her new self and also how she embraces stepping out of her comfort zone. Two men, two neighbors........how did she get into this predicament? But what a great predicament to be in in my opinion. Katya is young and why not live a little!!
The development of Katya and Liam and Katya and Wulf will make you go back and forth with your feelings. Each relationship is different and compelling. I felt torn and conflicted but I loved how Katya followed her heart and feelings. A trip home to visit her mom helped Katya really explore her feelings towards her Neighbors.
The progression of the story, from the very beginning to the very end, flowed effortlessly. As with all things too good to be true...........eventually it combusts and boy does it ever......sooooooo good!! I will say that the wedding cake scene was epically perfect!!! It was spot on and I loved reading every minute of it.
As with all of Stylo's writing, she evokes many levels of emotions. From parts that are sweet and cute, to parts that are sexy and hot, to parts that are quick and sassy.......this book has it all. Great characters, great banter and hot sexy scenes......Neighbors have never been so gooooood!

I must say that I got introduced to Stylo by my sweet friend SueBee. From Degradation on, I discovered that I loved her writing and storytelling. I will say that to me, each book that she has written has gotten better and better. They are all so different and completely captivating. She is an author that takes chances and boy do they pay off in amazing and wonderful storytelling!!! I would recommend all of Stylo's books!!

➳Stylo Fantôme had me on the edge of my sit, waiting for this book to be released. Little did I know that I was simply being fooled with this story hahaha! Neighbors by Stylo Fantôme is out today, September 27th, so check it out if you are interested by the synopsis down below!
➳I've honestly been waiting for this copy for such a long time now, that I was screaming my lungs out when the book arrived in the mail. The cover and the synopsis makes you want to ravish this book entirely! But, when you start reading... Well, lets just say that's a different story to tell...
➳The story begins with the third perspective point of view from Katya, the female protagonist of the story, and her about to be live dating profile, which her friend Tori started up for her. What Katya does not know is that her next "building" neighbor, Liam Edenhoff has been watching her around (in the non-so-creepy way) ever since she moved into her building. He thinks that she is an innocent ray of sunshine, a librarian or a school teacher because of the way she dresses. His approach towards Katya is just so blunt and candor, it actually made me laugh at how his ego is probably so high to think that Katya will say yes to his inquiry.

And then, there is the mystery...
➳"It's not that kind of club..."
➳Well, HELLO THERE! Hahahaha!
His mindset intentions are completely different to what his "partner" has in his mind... At first, the story does not introduce Liam's partner and what he does, and the mystery of what Liam does for a living is also present which is one of the major reasons why this story is so intriguing. It gets to a point where it's pretty explanatory;
➳"Day one, Katya has made an in-the-moment decision to go out on a date with a random stranger and have sex with him in his sex club...
➳"Day two, Katya had gone on a kind-sorta-date with a ghost from her past...
➳"Day three, it all cam crashing down. Oh god, oh god, what had she done?!"
➳Honestly, I was uncertain at first because I am not one to read books where sharing is actually a turn-on, but I decided to give this story a try, and to be speaking fairly, I really liked the beginning. It got up to the point where we meet Wulf, the second male protagonist in the story, that my likes for the story began to diminish. His character is one that I truly, deeply, and most of all passionately dislike in every sense of the way. He actually makes me question whether there are actually really highly intelligent women in this world, but instantly become a dumb piece of meet being used for the ultimate and most cliché way possible; sex. This story basically portrays that, not only through Katya and Wulf, but also with Liam being added to the picture...
➳At the end of the day, I enjoyed having something to read and keep my head busy, but I certainly did not enjoy the story as much as I was hoping to...

He actually makes me question whether there are actually really highly intelligent women in this world, but instantly become a dumb piece of meet being used for the ultimate and most cliché way possible; sex. This story basically portrays that, not only through Katya and Wulf, but also with Liam being added to the picture...

This book looks promising at first. I was so excited to read but after a few chapter, hell... major turn off . I didn't realize I strongly dislike the main characters until the end.
✔ Katya Tocci is ready to new beginning. She's plain jane and boring. But she has great career as a cake designer. Katya has the shittiest luck in relationship. Kanew profile in dating site give a new purpose to live outside her comfort zone. I liked her at first, but in the end... Poor Katya.
✔ Liam Edenhoff didn't realize the prim and proper neighbor is a wild girl until he asked Katya to go to his sex club. Liam is really wild and carefree guy. He's easily likable person with his sweetheart attitude and she's really almost falling for him if it's not for a certain person.
✔ Came Wulfric Stone trampled her mind all over again. Katya's childhood crush ordered her to date him. With him, Katya turns into submissive and yes girl. She just couldn't resist Wulfric. He used to be Katya's neighbor and then moved on.
✔ I promised you this book has a lot of sex. With two man. Separately. Is it hot enough to melt panties? Yes, but all the sex feels empty. Because there is no chemistry between them. Either Katya-Liam or Katya-Wulfric. Well, let's have fun and have sex. Done!
✔ The rest was mundane things until it hit when Katya and Wulfric went on vacation. They're started to develop some honest feelings before Wulfric blow it off. Katya went back with broken heart and Liam is still waiting for her. He's still nice and caring to Katya even her heart ached for Wulfric.
✔ The ending isn't shocking for me because I knew something wrong between Liam and Wulfric. But the reason behind it was unpredictable and kinda fucked up also earned +1 star. It was fun until someone gets hurt and it is Katya. Wulfric is the heartless bastard here. He act like a broken man and need to be saved.
Conclusion? I couldn't trust all of them. They're deceiving each other since the first time. Faking happiness and become something you are not. I never understand why Katya always weak around Wulfric. And Liam seems honest and friendly because he couldn't wait to get in her panties? Please.

Engaging from beginning to end, Fantome’s writing easily led me to fall super fast for these characters and their story. It’s a unique point of view and an interesting take on a love triangle type story. I’m not a love triangle girl, usually. Stylo Fantome changed my mind for this story.
A prince charming and an anti-hero change the course of an independent woman’s life as she’s determined to reinvent her seemingly boring existence. Stylo Fantome writes seriously amazing anti-heroes. The one in this story is absolutely no exception. His counterpoint, the prince charming, shows a softer side to her anti-heroes. I took great pleasure in exploring this dichotomy. This story starts by reinvigorating Katya, our heroine, making her an active participant in her own life. It invigorates the reader at the same time. She thrusts herself into a new start becoming polarized by two completely opposite men while still maintaining the purity and honesty of who she is at her core. My dear friend Deanna said to me “this story is really Katya’s awakening” and I totally agree. I loved this heroine through her confusion and conflict especially, which doesn’t often happen to me. She’s never dishonest in her actions always echoing her inner thoughts and turmoil. And reflecting further upon Deanna’s statement I think by the end this story really evolves and proves to the reader it’s an awakening of sorts for all three characters. There’s a cataclysmic shift in all of their foundations that occurs slowly over the course of the book. These foundations subtly changing as their hidden within witty banter, possessiveness, playfulness, and sexual discovery.
Twist and turns delving into both the light and dark of sexual, human nature Neighbors takes readers on captivating, entertaining journey. Fantome’s style of writing, her story-telling structure, and the unraveling of her characters’ lives are all unique and exciting. This author consistently offers fresh and unique stories that break the mold of the erotic genre yet still fulfill all your desires as an erotic romance reader. While her stories are seductively gritty the intricate romance webbed within her words is undeniable and captivating.

Without a doubt, one thing I can always count on with Stylo Fatôme's books is that I never get what I’m expecting. And that's what I love and why I keep reading her. And while hiding in the corner as I type this, I love her books but still have to meet Jameson Kane! I know, the shame!! I've no acceptable excuse.
Neighbors was everything I love in a book. You've got one good girl, Katya, and two neighbors, Wulf and Liam. Who knew a good girl could get it so bad? Damn, to be Katya.
This was one delectably sexy read. It was so bad that it was so good. I was all over the place with how I felt about Wulf and Liam. I felt like my head and heart were scrambled at times. But I'd do it all over again!
This ends on a cliffy, but it only made it all the better because I'm already hankering for the next book! I'm warning you right now, buckle up and get ready for a wild and crazy ride that'll give you a thrill, make you squirm with want and need and will leave you begging for more.

6 Well that was Unexpected Stars
I love Stylo’s books. I’ve always rate her reads really high. I’ll be honest and say the blurb for this one didn’t pull me in. Neighbor books are a dime a dozen, so I thought to myself what makes this book so different and special?
Well, you can slap me. Because this is anything but a typical book. The blurb doesn’t do any justice, but I understand the author didn’t want to give anything away.
I think I need to tell you a few things to entice you, because this book was pure amazing.
First off, I’ve read some negative reviews and just note, yes this book has a cliff-hanger. Personally I love cliff-hangers because you know why? That means the book doesn’t end. Yes people! Have you ever read a book you loved and didn’t want it to end, well this one is it!
Second, this book is written in third person narrative. WHICH I find refreshing and I have no issues with. I always figure third person writing a bit tricky and any author that can write that way demands my applause.
There are two Heroes in this one! But no cheating. I usually cringe at love triangles but there’s something about Stylo’s writing that makes me read out of my comfort zone. She wrote a book about cheating and I loved it, so it’s no surprise she writes a book with two Heroes and I love them both.
What I love most about this book is that it was well thought out. From the first to last page, you know the author had the plot and story line down. It also reads effortless and very steamy. I couldn’t put it down and I read it in one sitting.
This book is very adult in the sense everyone acted his or her age. I really liked how rational everyone was and like I said, it was just an overall refreshing read.
Katya is a boring girl and she wants to spice up her life, so when she creates an on-line dating profile and she meets Liam.
Liam is the fun-loving happy guy. He lives in the building next door and he kind of pushes Katya’s boundaries. He shows her the steamy side of her and also how to have fun in a relationship. He doesn’t want anything serious and she agrees.
I loved Liam. He’s the guy you can joke with, eat tacos and drink beer with. He’s the guy you can consider a best friend and will be there for you no matter what.
Then there’s Katya’s childhood crush Wulfric. Don’t you love the name? He’s broody, mysterious and very rich. His time and money is precious and he’s curious to how Katya has changed since childhood. I found Wulfric the kind of hero I love to read. He’s so alpha male you just want him to have his way with you.
The star of the book is Katya and I love reading all of her bedroom adventures. She struggles and has fun with both men and it keeps the story really interesting.
This book was just overall one-of-kind surprising read.

3.5 Stars. This is a story about a woman's sexual rediscovery and the men that help her get there. I liked the plot though I warn that it can definitely test the comfort zone, depending on the individual. I enjoyed getting to know Katya, Liam, and Wulf. They definitely experienced growth as they worked through their interactions. Although I found it predictable for the most part, it was still well executed. Liam and Wulf tested Katya's boundaries and let me tell you, SEXY AS HELL is an understatement. I'm not really a big fan of love triangles even though that aspect was out in the open from the beginning. There were certain scenes in which Wulf was a total @$$. In all honesty, the ending left me unsatisfied, but the journey there was quite fun. Safety: Sharing but not at the same time. No rape or abuse.

Neighbors wasn't what I expected, I'm not sure what I expected but it certainly wasn't this!
It was fun, sexy and quite emotional.
Katya Tucci was good girl living a simple boring life, to spice things up she accepts to join an online dating app, it doesn't take long for things to change in her life. She doesn't have one but two very sexy and very very different men wanting her.
Liam was nice, funny and sexy while Wulf was the sexy broody asshole. As you can imagine my favorite was Wulfy ( I have a thing for assholes, what can I say
) but I know a lot will fall under Liam charm.At first I wasn't sure how the story was going to work, but after reading a little I just couldn't put it down, I needed to know how all of this was going to end!
Now for the last 5 % of the book.....This was how I reacted.
I know the review is very vague but I don't want to spoil anything ;)
I cannot wait to see what people will think when they read it.
Honestly I have no clue how Stylo will write book 2 but I really can't wait!

Well, well, well...
It occurred to me after reading this that despite owning several of Stylo's books, I've only read one other before this. Interestingly enough though, it was enough for me to gravitate towards Stylo's works because even with just one book, I find that I like her writing style and the way she likes to twist things. Also, with other GR friends enamored with some of her alphahole H's, I'd say, that's more than enough reason.
There are things that gave me conflicting feelings, but I'll point it out now that ultimately, I know for a fact that I would want to read the rest of this duet. Here's why:
First, I'm not a fan of this trope where there's more than 2 people involved. If I paid better attention to the blurb, I probably would have hesitated. But seeing this is Stylo, I want to know where she's gonna take these characters.
Second, and probably the part that gave me the most conflict, I didn't really agree with most of the characters' actions nor did I buy some of their feelings and thoughts. But I have to give credit because I feel like individually, Stylo actually gave me strong protagonists (and I kinda use that term loosely:p). From Katya's perspective, I suppose you can consider this her sexual awakening. I've come close to judging her a few times but to do so felt like slut-shaming her so I didn't want to go there. She did take risks. In the end though, I get where she's coming from, somewhat. To be that lost, I get the need to learn one's self better. Did I fully buy it? Hmmm...
Liam, the first spoke in the wheel, is funny, sweet and very easy-going. It's hard not to fall for him. He had the right personality to bring out the fun, risque side of Katya. Now, Wulfric, the second spoke in the wheel, you get your classic alpha H; your take-charge kinda' fella, closed off and fighting off feelings to hide his vulnerability, arrogant and rude but you get a peek of a softer side. It's hard not to want to be the woman to crack his veneer. But to put these 2 in the context of the relationship, neither one felt worthy.
Which bring me to my third point, the dynamics among these 3, while uneven, totally makes sense in my head. I laughed even when I was scratching my head. I bought the heat even when I'm confused and not buying the attraction fully. I started rooting for one even when I don't understand the attraction. And as much as I didn't want to root for the other, I felt like I should.
And finally, the fourth point. In the beginning especially, I couldn't make sense of what's happening. Then I thought I had some inkling as to where the conflict is gonna come from and whatever is lurking underneath. But then, I got too distracted seeing how things are playing out that I forgot my theories so by the end, the last 10% had my head spinning. And for Stylo to end it the way she did, I'm actually intrigued. I want to see how she would redeem these characters. I mean, that is, if she would... I'm not so sure anymore... How will you, Stylo? How?!?!
GAH!!!
And for that, I shall eagerly await... *thrums fingers*

I didn't know what to expect from this book after I read the blurb. It didn't give away too much and yet I was very intrigued. I've read the Kane series by Stylo Fantome and really enjoyed that. She's no stranger to writing sexy stories with strong and intense males. Neighbors was just that and much more. A very unexpected surprise.
I have to admit I was a little put off by Katya and her insecurities because she used it as an excuse whenever she had the chance. I decided to say "screw it" and go along with the story and just enjoy it. Right move on my part because enjoy it I sure as hell did. Katya's friend Tori was a fresh breath of air and as much as she tried to push Katya out of her comfort zone, she was first and foremost a wonderful and loyal girlfriend.
Liam and Wulfric were two opposites but very attractive men who definitely had their eyes on Katya. Her chemistry with both men were sizzling hot and I enjoyed the different relationship she had with both of them. Liam and Wulfric brought out a new and exciting Katya. Liam was easygoing and always asked for permission whereas Wulfric took charge of what he wanted and needed from Katya. I enjoyed how she reacted to them and how both relationship evolved and grew. She became more secure in herself and her sexuality. It was an intense and fun journey. Towards the end she finally found her voice and took control.

I always love Stylo's work, so before I read the blurb I'm determine to read it. Well, well, well.... now I have to admit that maybe I really should read the blurb first. I like my kinky stuff, but I'm not one who enjoy sharing. Thank God there isn't an actual threesome scene. I'm okay with the occasional menage if it only took place at most ONCE in a book. More than that I can't deal.
Neighbors is about a Plain Jane's sexual discovery. The heroine in this case is suppose to be a girl who wore beige, although I'm not too sure is beige wearing is such a crime. The plot is smooth and engaging, it get me going from beginning till the end. A little dose of mystery from Mr. Asshole. What's his deal? Honestly, I'm torn, I don't know whose ship should I board. I hate this kind of dilemma. I'm the kind of girl who needs to know who should I be rooting for. Is gonna be ugly when I got it wrong. Arg!!
Truthfully, I don't think I like Katya that much, due to reason aforementioned, which led to the rating above. If you have no problem with her situation, I'm sure it will be a blast read.
Neighbors is about a Plain Jane's sexual discovery. The heroine in this case is suppose to be a girl who wore beige, although I'm not too sure is beige wearing is such a crime. 2.5 not convinced stars.
Didn't realise it ended on a cliffhanger or I'd have waited. Bugger.
It was ok, but the big surprise was kind of obvious from the beginning so it was more of a duh moment than a wow shit moment.
Not fond of third person narrative either. Ah well.

“I will not let these boys ruin me.”
This is an angsty dirty escapist romance… sprinkled with a little true love happening… at its most delicious. It is my first book by this author and I enjoy her writing style enormously. It is emotional and cohesive. She writes dialogue extremely well…giving her characters a certain wit and charm. I was hooked with this first book in the “Twin Estates” series and immediately had to begin the second book.
The story begins with our heroine, Katya, growing into her career and life but feeling that her relationships with men, for the most part, have been unfulfilling. She also feels as if she has unwittingly placed herself into the “boring beige” category of good girls.
With coaxing from her best friend and wild-child roommate, Tori, Katya places her profile on a dating app. Without Katya’s knowledge, her roommate takes the liberty of spicing it up and soon she is inundated with attention from the opposite sex. She catches the eye of the owner of the building in which she resides, Liam, who also happens to own a sex club. Liam approaches her and because she feels challenged not only by him, but also in many ways, herself, she throws out her rule book and takes him up on his invitation to visit the sex club he owns with him. She shares a night of hard core raunchy sex with Liam that moves her straight out of the good girl column. In the process, she steals Liam’s heart or, so it seems.
Next up in Katya’s life is a surprise with a certainly brusque visit at her place of business from her girlhood crush, Wulfric Stone. He invites (commands) her to have dinner with him through his assistant no less. And so begins a relationship dynamic where she is fiercely attracted to Wulf and a little afraid of his overwhelming dominance. More precisely, she’s afraid of what Wulf might do to her heart.
For a moment we feel Katya suspended between the affections of Liam and Wulfric. Both men are described as gorgeous, rich and each with their own particular charm. Liam is the laid-back playboy who everyone loves instantly. Wulfric is the powerful, workaholic, dominating, no-nonsense real estate tycoon whose passions are stirring and deep…things that make a romance lover go Mmmmm.
As the story unfolds, it seems to be shaping up more and more as a love story between Katya and Wulfric. I love how the romance between Katya and Wulfric unfolds with happy coincidences, some hesitation and angst. Their erotic moments are thrilling and magnificent.
Just as the reader is lulled with all kinds of happy romantic breath-taking feels, a crazy AF twist turns everything on its ear. Thinking back over the read I kind of like that it isn’t a straight shot to happy town for Katya and Wulfric or...Katya and Liam for that matter.

Well damn, I wasn’t expecting that! I need the next book immediately!

Katya is boring and predictable – a baker whose career is her entire focus. Until her roommate and friend, Tori, makes her create an online data profile. Tori spices it up and suddenly Liam, their neighbor, is interested.
I adored Liam. He allowed Katya to come out of her shell and really be comfortable in her own skin.
“Hey, sometimes saying yes is a good thing. Yes gets you all sorts of stuff. Tacos, movie tickets, blowjobs, cookies, all kids of treats. You just have to open yourself up to new experiences,” he told her.
And then there is Wulfric Stone – her neighbor growing up. Who knew that he lived locally and suddenly he is interested in her too.
Katya is torn between her two neighbors and it was hot as hell as she tried to figure out what to do.
“Your vagina is certainly in love with him.”
“My vagina and my heart are two very different things. One is a lot smarter than the other.”
