Great book! Worthwhile read for anyone who teaches the Bible in one capacity or another regardless of actual preaching. It's impressive how much ground Scharf covers in such a relatively slim book. His purpose is to get at newbies or a review/checklist for those who have been teaching the Bible. I think he definitely meets this. Good book for contemplation and "weighing your heart" before teaching the Bible.
