In a land not so far away, there lives a place that lives in the past...
She is the governess... Agatha Blair has been with the Everards for nearly two years. She is plain and barely passes the category of pretty. And she is secretly in love with him.
He is the Lord of Devonshire... Benedict Everard is the eldest of all Everard children. He is a beast and he secretly believes the governess is a bore.
A past... Hers is dark, his is never talked about.
An unstoppable love that cannot be will test a fun and quirky family living in the affluent and wicked town of Wickhurst.
Janelle Ruiz works as a nurse in Bacolod City. She likes the rain, jazz, and freshly brewed coffee. When she's not writing, she spends her time reading inspirational, suspense, and psychological thriller books. She dreams of becoming a forensic psychologist, but as of now, being one of the most amazing criminal profilers in her dreamland is enough. Apart from dreaming, reading and watching too much suspense/thriller television series and a lot of documentaries, she is also known to most of her personal friends and family as a painter.
Greenwriter seriously took up the time to meticulously come up with a plot that connects all her stories that are held in the Town, and there are crossovers that help you cope with missing previous characters as well.
It's amazing how seemingly insignificant events are things she puts focus on in the next book, which will focus on the character involved in said event. I just... there are no words. This needs to be a worldwide hit, ASAP.
Words cannot describe how much I love this series.
This is one of my favourite stories in wattpad..It has everything for a historical Genre..Seriously I don't know which was my favourite part because the previous chapter made the next chapter better, more fun & exciting ..This deserves to be paid..& I am very glad that I've spent my coins on this one..
Benedict was one of my favourite characters..I just loved how he always respected & defended Agatha.Agatha also was a strong charcter always held herself high & proud, mainly stood for her self-respect(no matter what Benedict offered Agatha & how much she loved him)..This also helped Benedict to realize what matters most & how foolish he had been..They truly complemented each other❤️❤️Benedict's journey truly touched my heart..It was deep, heavy, full of love & reverence..Actually not only Benedict, I liked every single character in this book..They were just too fun,sweet,lovely😁😁..
Acutually mere words cannot describe this amazing book butI like to share two of my favourite quotes from this one.
"Rubies are the only stones the Everads cannot mine but always wanted and dreamed of.And you are the woman I cannot have but always wanted and dreamed of"-Benedict This scene literally tore my heart..Couldn't stop crying😭😭..The pain, the longing, the love was really evident in this part
" The beast has bewitched the beauty" -Benedict..It was one of their happy moments when they were happily looking back...It held a warmth & a promise for the future that they would make❤️❤️..
“Rubies are the only stones the Everards cannot mine but always wanted and dreamed for. Whatever happens, Blair, I want you to always be reminded that you are the ruby of one Everard.”
Bakit now ko lang siya binasa? Hahahaha ay naku.
Benedict, with his raging emerald eyes was bewitched by the fiery topaz brown eyes of Agatha. He was really enamoured, smitten and besotted doon sa tinawag niyang boring noong una ay. I really loved their kulitan and banters pati mga heated arguments.
Anyways, all is well naman.
Overall, this was a good one! Beast x witch ulit hahaha.
Just finished the book and hour ago and I can this was one the many amazing history Ton romances I have read over time. But one thing I couldn’t help but notice maybe it was just my perspective but it felt like the story was greatly inspired by Bridgerton, not sure which was published further so Im not sure. It felt like we took penelope featherington made her tall and slim, put her in the character of Kate Sharma as an irish woman who wants to be a governess as well and matched her with Benedict (very anthony like) their banter was amazing and I love the entire family especially the twins devious and charming in their own way.
