Violet is a Mother, Daughter, Sister and aunt. She grew up in Enfield, North London, just down the road from the best football team Tottenham Hotspur. She now resides in Rotherham, South Yorkshire where she lives happily with her Daughter.
She has always had a love for books and used to play around writing stories when she was a teenager, but growing up life got in the way and her reading time got less and less until it was non-existent.
Becoming a single Mum she found she had a lot of time in the evenings so started reading again. This ignited the love she had for writing and she began putting ideas down on paper.
In 2013 she started writing her first full novel, after 3 long years she finally got the courage to publish and Brad was born.
Finally got to read Violet's debut novel and my oh my!
Brad is left broken hearted by his girlfriend Claire which leads him down the path to playboyville (I'm sure he was a borderline sex addict) but not all is as it seems, years later a school reunion reunites Claire with Brad and a 15 year old secret is revealed forcing Brad to actually start taking life seriously, I loved the addition of Zachary he had a kickass attitude and then little Kenzie which allows us as readers to see Brad in a whole different light.
A lovely romance story with loveable characters and a HEA :)
Brad Matthias is the CEO of Matthias Enterprises, he's a playboy and rarely goes back to the same woman for seconds. This book is his journey through the ups and downs of life from college days to starting work as a CEO.
This is Violet's debut book and it was pretty good for a first. A story of love, heartbreak, grief and joy. A heartwarming and heartbreaking read at times but overall a true joy to read.
This is such a great storyline. The story blended well.
Brad is your typical broken hearted rebellion that refuses to let it happen again. Better off keeping that brick wall up. But of course there’s always that one that can break it down. Or maybe it was broken for her to begin with.
I loved loved LOVED, the relationship and openness he had with Eve. I think everyone needs a he/she friendship like them.
The best thing h has done is to leave him at the beginning of the book. Such a jerk! Seconds after his reunion with the h & their son he f*cks ow. Also if they (H & h) were not together, but to have s*x right after his “family” goes through the door… H sleeps with many ow almost till the end of the book. I wished for the epilogue 5 years after, when he would cheat and it would be the case – no doubt.

If your idea of romance is to spend most of a novel reading about a guy drinking and fucking almost every girl he comes across you’ll love this! Claire -the other half of this pathetic excuse for a so-called second chance romance, when she finally shows up decades later - has of course been celibate for almost twenty years (can’t have her fucking around!)is pathetically complacent about dealing with this asshole ‘s temper tantrums. Oh and when he knocks someone else up she of course ends up looking after the kid!
All of the characters are unlikeable, the writing is definitely not gripping and I kept hoping Brad the lead would end up dead rather than in a HEA with the increasingly pathetic Claire and teenage son. It would have put all of us out of our misery.
Manwhore alert. Also, FMC being so perfect she raises his bastard children (direct result of his whoring tendency) doesn't make me like her. It makes me sad for her.
