I wasn't sure what to expect when I read that this was one of Teagan Kade's favorite stories, but damn! It was freaking awesome!! I love reading about the bad boys she writes about--sports stars, rebellious princes, but this was a different spin on a bad boy and it was great.
In this book we meet Lux--she just quit her job as a cop to chase her and her father's dreams of riding epic surf out off of Australia. Her father was a great surfer before he died and loved to tell her of his grand rides before he became a dad. Sharing her father's love of surfing, she uses up the last of her funds to travel to his secret surf spot where she meets the Hunt brothers. Three hot bad boys covered in tattoos--Deacon, Bo, and Razor. While trying to surf a monster wave, Lux gets dragged under repeatedly only to be saved by Deacon. With no hospitals close by, the town doc orders the brothers to keep an eye on Lux for the next several days. And that's how the story starts....
The brothers are obviously close to one another, but Lux can tell that they are hiding something. As a former cop, she's not sure what to think. But the more time she spends with them, Deacon in particular, the more she wants to know. Deacon is the ring leader and he's trying to keep Lux at arm's length, but the beautiful blonde California isn't so easy to dissuade. The chemistry between Lux and Deacon starts off on a simmer but quickly turns up to a full flame and boy is it hot!!
I loved the twists and turns this story took. There were several things I didn't see coming at all and that made for a great read. This book is a great example of why you should read Teagan Kade's works.

This one was awesome! It’s the last of the bad boy sports for me! On to American Hero’s!!
I fell in love with Lux right away, Deacon it took a little less than a minute and I fell in love with his charter too! I felt so sorry for Lux losing her dad, but what happened to her mom? She is so alone when she travels to Australia. But it's very interesting on how Lux and Deacon met. I was hoping she could prove those Hunt boys wrong and surf her wave, but then that would have been the end of their story. I was exciting when Deacon takes Lux in and helps her train. It was very interesting what happened to Deacon back in the states. I have a feeling deep down he didn't do what he was accused of doing and he was found to be innocent. It warmed my heart to find out that Lux feel like a mother figure to Deacon's brothers Bo and Razor. It's so nice that they all got to come back to the states to live out their lives, lets hope Bo and Razor find someone amazing in their lives as well. I would have love to see a book on Bo and Razor, together or separate books.
In the epilogue I love the fact we get to see Lux is pregnant. They are back in the states surfing their waves, if only they went pro!!!

I haven't read many surfer stories, I really enjoyed this one. In my opinion Teagan Kade of making me feel the ride and wipeout of Lux. When Deacon was training Lux I felt the intensity and struggle. I felt the chemistry between Lux and Deacon. I wanted more with Deacon, Bo and Razor and who they were hiding from. I felt that part of the story was missing something. In my opinion I felt the ending a little lacking and anticlimatic. I appreciated Deacon's loyalty and protectiveness of his brothers and Lux. I loved Lux's tenacity. I read on Kindle Unlimited.

I loved their personalities, their strength, their banter, their big hearts .... The way they are devoted to family and their favorite sport in the world ... surfing the biggest waves ever.
Their story is fast-paced and twisted, with the backstory revealed only little by little ...
It's another must-read from this author, a page-turner, a romance novel that turns into a thriller and vice versa.

Enjoyable
I liked this as I haven't read many surfer romances, the plot was good and all the characters are great, it's well written and the suspense was building as was the romance and then it was all tied up neatly with a bow! I was disappointed that I wasn't on the edge of my seat but it's still an enjoyable read.

Surfers down under
Brothers Deacon, Razor, and Bo escaped from the U.S. to Australia. They were surfers who had a secret they couldn't tell anyone. Lux, an American who came to Australia to surf gets into a little trouble with a wave and was saved by Deacon. The four of them became friends and relationships developed. Storyline with many twists and turns.

I love Teagan's writing and this is another fantastic offering from her. Just when you think you know where this book is going - BAM - twists. Loved it. Well done Teagan - more please.

Lux is a Cop and she basically quit her job to do something with her life that she shared with her father, he had passed and she wanted to to surf the Shipstern in Australia, the best waves to surf in the world according to her father. The day Lux arrives and goes to surf she meets these three brothers of course they tell her that she shouldnt surf the Shipstern as its harder then it looks even for the best surfer. Deacon doesnt let anyone in in fact him and his brothers are in Australia hiding from something, the town knows that much but not what they are hiding from.
What I enjoyed most about Wrecked is watching a woman willing to go through anything to surf the waves that her dad has been telling her about for years, watching a man who doesnt get close to woman or have relationships agree to help train her and get her ready for the big wave at Shipstern. Seeing him change when he is around Lux and not be so moody or brooding anymore, he cares so much for his brothers, but to bring another person into his circle and care about her just as much and want to do anything he can to protect her at any costs.

Man I love Teagan's books! She sure knows how to to keep you entertained.
This is my first surfer book, I wish there was more about the actual surfing like the discription of when they are on the waves. But other than that detail the book was awesome just like the author.
I haven't read a book by her yet that I didn't likè, Deacon and Lux met while she went to a hidden beach in Australia to surf one of the biggest waves ever in the memory of her father. She almost drowns doing it and Deacon saves her life and the relationship takes off from there. He was a bastard at the beginning but eventually warms up to her.
She find out Deacon and his brothers are in hiding but from who she doesn't know. Will she find out? Are they in danger? Don't miss this book, it's definitely worth the read.

Wrecked was an okay read. I felt it was a little anticlimactic and that there was more story potential than ended up being. Since the copy I downloaded from Amazon had 2 books in one, I was expecting the book to keep going where it ended halfway instead. It made it feel too abrupt.
I like the build up, until the end...
As for the characters, Lux and Deacon were okay. There was some chemistry, but once again, I felt something was missing.
Overall, it was free so can't complain. It wasn't a bad read.

Bo, Deacon and Razor escaped to Australia with a secret attempting to keep a low profile but was unsuccessful. Deacon and his brothers was surfing when they became aware of Lux trying to ride the waves. Lux has recently lost her father so she was still grieving his pasting by leaving her hometown. The story contains many twists and turns with a good storyline. The storyline describes the brother rescuing her after she wipeout. I won't give the story away but it's worth the read!

I received Wrecked as an ARC and I loved this book from the first page to the last. Lux is on a quest to surf her father's best surfing spots. When she encounter the Deacon and his two brothers.
Deacon saves Lux's life when she tries to surf a big wave. He watches over her while she recovers and trains her to withstand the rough surf to surf the waves.

Amazing
This was an amazing book. I would have never guessed about the three guys in this book. I don't think I have read a book like Wrecked. But I loved it all the same. Definitely a must read.

Teagan Kade excellent. I think this is my favourite so far. I'm not a lover of the sea but would take up the surf if it handed me Deacon.

I really liked this book! Boy meets girl, doesn't trust girl. Girl meets boy, doesn't trust boy. And then things change! Great read!
