About the author

A lifelong resident of Western New York, Gary Friedman has traveled a long road, interacting with people at every step of the way. He gained recognition early in life as a fundraiser and recruiter to volunteer organization. He then spent 17 years running his own business followed by 8 years counseling teenagers in various settings. He spent 11 years as a college soccer coach and the last 22 working for the federal government.

At each level of his career he has made people his priority: observing, listening and reaching out to those in need and those who need direction. He has authored a series of three inspirational novels, The Shepherd Chronicles, demonstrating his message that one man can make a difference.
