David King, a young Amish man from Pennsylvania, is now a student in Madison, Wisconsin. As he studies to be a veterinarian’s assistant, the time away from loved ones and everything familiar, is a time of questioning his future.
His love for Kayla Evans, a college student from the English world back home, is strong, but will distance and time change his heart? Or hers?
Kayla has her own questions about their long-distance relationship. As she delves deeper into her new-found faith, she ponders her own prospects. Her parents have separated and her concern for her brother, Andy, draws her closer to him. Then after a short-term mission trip to Haiti, she finds herself questioning her future plans.

While raising five children, June found time to take up oil painting and studied under several nationally known artists. She also loved to play the piano, sing, and sew.
In the 1970’s, she and her husband, Jim, purchased and operated a thirty-eight-room country inn located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania where she established an art gallery as well as creative workshops, which took place in a converted recreation hall. Professional artists and writers from all over the country presided over classes held during the summer months.
In addition to inn-keeping, Ms. Belfie has owned a restaurant, cooked professionally, worked in a bank, collected and sold antiques, directed a church choir, and served as a Stephen's Minister.
She enjoys her eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, as well as her adult children and their spouses. She now resides in Media, Pennsylvania.

David's Decision is the third book in The King Family of Lancaster County series written By June Bryan Belfie. This book continues the story romance between David King who is Amish and Kayla Evans who is English.
Both David and Kayla are attending college looking forward to careers that will help in their future. How has the distance affected their relationship? Has David's family accepted that David and Kayla want to marry in the future? Will they marry or call it quits because of their different backgrounds? I suggest anyone who is interested in the Amish genre to read this book. I am sad to see the story end but I'm sure June Bryan Belfie will deliver her fans another wonderful series in the future.
