After Cuba and Emon are kidnapped by the brother that Emon had never knew he had, the two of them come home to try and start their lives as if everything is normal. With a secret dangling over their heads, Cuba leaves her marriage to Khi and decides that she’s better off on her own. Khi refuses to let his wife go and does everything in his power to get his wife back with him where she belongs especially when something comes up that may have Khi fighting for all the time he has left. Tangie and Cass are back together and Tangie finds herself being a mother to a child that she never wanted to accept. After Cass brings his daughter home to live with them, Tangie finds out that Cass is still up to his same old ways and has the both of them questioning if their relationship is even meant to be. KaeDee’s police girlfriend’s intentions are finally revealed and just when KaeDee thinks he has her out of the way, she comes back harder than ever showing him how better they were together as a team than apart. Dae finds that it’s easier to move on and start over when it’s revealed that Amber is dating other men. No longer the one to fight fire with fire when it comes to the ones he love, Dae is ready to put in work while in his search for love. The finale is fast and filled with drama from the very first page. Be sure to read along in full and stay tuned to see why everyone is Still Addicted to a Dirty South Thug.
okay this book was good BUT it was also rushed and short! I could be wrong but didn't Cass and Tangie catch Jourdan putting the fake contact in the little girl eye at the end of part 3? It should have been more with the situation with the whole Emon and Cuba thing. Like detailed of what happened when and how Khi found them. The secret was good to the end though. Being that Dae was a HUGE part of the last 3 books and he hardly was not even in the book and in part 3 he was bent on getting his family back together then part 4 he just accept Amber moving on? The last 3 books where amazing but I am disappointed with this one.
Man this was unlike any of Shan's books, it was extremely short and wordy for no reason if that makes sense. Then the ending, the ending was awful! It just wasn't her best work compared to the other books. Just expected more.
IN WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE FINAL INSTALLMENT OF ATADST SERIES & I'M NOT MAD ABOUT IT. FIRST OFF, I HAD BEEN CALLING ONE OF THE PRINCE BROTHERS DAEMON WHEN HIS NAME APPEARS TO BE EMON. I TOOK THIS SERIES ALONG WITH ME WHEN I WAS WAITING TO HEAR WHETHER OR NOT I'D BE PICKED FOR JURY DUTY WHICH HAD WASTED MY TIME WAITING. BUT, AT LEAST I GOT TO PERUSE THROUGH A BOOK SERIES I HAD ON MY BOOKSHELVES FOR SOMETIME BUT HAD NOT GOTTEN AROUND TO ACTUALLY READING.. UNTIL ON JURY DUTY STAND BY. I DIDN'T LIKE THAT CUBA MARRIED TO PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT SHE HAD ENDURED WHILE & BECAUSE THEY WERE IN EACH OTHERS LIVES, BUT THIS IS WHAT OCCURS WHEN WOMEN DON'T HAVE A SENSE OF SELF-LOVE & CONFIDENCE IN THEMSELVES. THEY SEEM TO GRAVITATE TO THE GUYS WHO ARE TOO WRAPPED UP INTO THEIR OWN BULL SHIT TO SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING TO THE ONES THAT THEY CLAIM TO LOVE. I STILL DON'T LIKE KHIAN PRINCE & FOUND A SENSE OF PEACE WHEN I READ HE WAS HEADING TO JAIL TO DO TIME. DESPITE ALL THAT HE HAD CAUSED TANGIE I STILL ROCKED WITH CASSIDY PRINCE FINDING HIM TO BE THE ONE PRINCE BROTHER THAT I COULD TOLERATE THE MOST. KAYDEE SEEMED AS IF HE WAS TRYING TO FIND A MOTHER FIGURE FOR THE CHILDREN HE SHARED WITH HIS DECEASED WIFE DEONNA & FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY THAT THAT COP CHICK WASN'T WHAT HE WANTED IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS. I WAS GLAD THAT DAELAN DIDN'T RESULT TO HIS OLD ANTICS WHEN HE FOUND OUT AMBER WAS SEEING SOMEONE ELSE & HAD LONG MOVED ON FROM HIM. DAE SHOWED A FORM OF MATURITY BY ACCEPTING THE MOVES AMBER WAS MAKING & CHOOSING TO 'BLOW SMOKE TO THE WIND' ON IT. I STILL WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT EMON PRINCE BUT I AIN'T SWEATING IT. SOME BOOK SERIES ARE MEANT TO JUST PERUSE THROUGH I GUESS. FOR THE MOST PART I'M GLAD IT APPEARS TO BE OVER & THE SERIES, SUCH AS IT WAS, SEEMS TO HAVE FOUND AN END.
I really wanted to see more out of the relationship between Khi and Cuba seeing that they went through more breakups than anything. Again Tamar was brought up but it didn’t seem like he was progressing but neither was any of the guys. I was really hoping they moved into a more legit lifestyle but it seems they all are just going backward.
Not one of the guys seemed to want to do anything better which was a letdown. Even KaeDee seemed to be falling off, the situation with him a Destiny I thought would push him into getting them all out but it seems to be the very reason their falling deeper. I’m guessing there will be a follow-up story after this one but unless the gang is getting out the game I doubt I’d be following along.
I truly hope there is a follow up to this book to this series!!!…Although I loved the series, this book left me with so many questions!!!… I was glad to see that Cassidy and Tangie are getting along better and they are able to co-parent in a healthy state of mind!!!… I wanna know what happened during and after Khi incarceration!!!…How is Cuba doing because she definitely got the raw end of all the drama, but she kept punching through all that was thrown at her!!!… I was glad her and Emon finally let out what happened after they were kidnapped!!!…
I really loved this whole series! The book club I’m in started this series but did not continue all 4 books because all of them were not available on Audible but I love to actually “read” vs “listen” so I finished this on my own! Definitely a page turner from books 1-4 and always kept me wanting more! Shan is definitely one of my favorite writers now!
Loyalty vs. Dishonor Is All Way A Part Of Lyfing. Meaning: Even Those Prince Boys Stayed Into Some Mess (in the streets), They All Showed Their Love To The Beat Of Their Ability (Brothers, Wives, Baby Mamas, and definitely The Kid's Kids), For The Most Part They Seem To Be Down To Earth Kinda Guys When They Wasn't Being Tried.💯🎯🔥 GREAT READ 💯🔥🎯
I really enjoyed this series. I would like to know overall more about Emon. Please Ms. Shan do one more book with these characters. One more thing. Is Cassie really Cassidy's daughter. Anything is possible.
This series was good all around. I expected a better ending for Khi & Cuba but it was still a good read. The last 3 books were definitely better than this one. Emon’s character wasn’t really necessary but I guess for the twist it was. When you attach yourself to the wrong person all hell can break loose.
Great book, I’m glad how it all worked out!! Glad everyone found the peace in their lives, when to be friends, when to let go of guilt, and when to stop running.
This book was a good read Even though I have one or maybe two unanswered questions.... I am happy that kaedee finally seen destiny for what she was... I'm happy that Cassidy is finally taking out for his self and all the princes were back together even if just for a brief moment....And last but not least it my our ideal happy ending but Khi and Cuba that their happy ending...Looking forward to Emon and Dae story I'm sure we will see all the princes together again
Loved it. Shan drew me in with this series from the very beginning starting with the first book. Cube and Khi is just everything to me. I love them. I hate what Emon and Cuba went through. I wish Cassidy and Tangie could've worked out too smh. That ending was a real tear jerker smh. Glad Khi only got that short amount of time though. Seriously enjoyed reading this as the Prince brother,Cuba, and Tangie went through so much and is still standing. Job well done.
This book shouldn't been written.. It's was a waste of my time & yours .. Book 1-3 were great but this one was not it.. I know you have to meet deadlines but this was not it.. Too many questions were left unanswered.. Did Cass & Tangie remind friends? What happened with Density? Amber? More time was needed to make this book a great read like book 1-3. Sorry to give a low review but I was very disappointed
Well the drama has finally come to the end that looks like we got some happy couples and some sad news..... This was one hell of a finish you go girl I've become the love these damn couples I can't believe it some stayed together most of them did and got it right struggles to strive low and I cannot believe what Emon had been forced to do this is one great reem this was one heckuva see you go girl out fricasseeing
Cuba went thru hell and back but got over the hard times to make a brighter better future. I know she was strong because Lord knows I would have ran for the hills like Forrest Gump lol. I'm happy Destiny got exactly what she deserved because she was dirty. This story has me all in my feelings but I was smiling big at the end result another good One Shan
I loved this series but all good things do end. I wasn't happy with the ending, it almost had me crying. I'm glad that Emon made it but too bad about Khi. He still made out okay though. I'm not a fan of all these series but a good one is hard to let go. This is one of those.
It was a good read. It was a bit rushed and it did not really go into details for certain scenes. It left us hanging and wondering. Never the less I am happy that Khi and Cuba got back together and now expecting their first baby
I loved this book! It was definitely worth the wait. Shan you did not let us down or disappoint. Khian is king for real. I don't think I have one bad thing to say. Good work!
OK read i really don't have anything bad to say . It was nothing special though I'm little upset about the ending I have some questions about Cuba and Khy I guess I'll never know.
I was expecting more..... The story line could have been stronger and more details about what happen.. What about Cuba and the baby? Did Cuba hold Kih down? What about Kih jail time? Did he make it out? Just to many questions...
