Zits

Extra Cheesy Zits: A Zits Treasury

Rate this book
Teenagers are unpredictable creatures. They don’t seem to follow a schedule, observe rules (of the road or basic logic), but every once in a while, they make a surprising amount of sense. Extra Cheesy Zits is here to shed light on the always confounding, often amusing experience of parenting teens. Join the Duncan family - Connie, Walt, and Jeremy - as they grapple with modern technology, confront homework deadlines, and learn to bridge the cultural divide between parents and teenagers.    Extra Cheesy Zits offers a light-hearted yet insightful look into the multifaceted lives of modern teens and their families, complemented by annotations from the creators. From mood swings to the perils of sharing a car, this collection broaches many familiar topics with humor and compassion.

A really great collection of high quality strips from Zits that any fan of the series will enjoy! Personally I prefer the smaller size format collections presenting the strips in sequential order. But nontheless these treasury volumes are a great read!

Continues to amaze me how much I like this comic. I think I have probably read every Treasury, yet the strips never feel old or recycled

Also its been fun over the years to watch Jeremy move through time, particularly technologically--from the early years where he can't even have a cell phone, to the intensity of finding the perfect ringtone, to this Treasury where having a ringtone is so not necessary because who calls? everything is texting.

Some real zingers

Comics, raising a teen boy

Has all the teen memes you've come to expect -- hungry all the time, self centered, and more. Some were worthy of putting on the fridge. If Jeremy didn't eat it first. If you like the cover, you'll enjoy the book.

Really funny

I've seen most of these before over the years in our local paper, and now they are still as funny or funnier. Totally enjoyed this book, and sometimes laughed so much to tears.

Maybe it's just me, but a disrespectful teen makes me angry instead of wanting to laugh.

I really enjoyed this. I had only casually read the strip in the past, but I went looking for panels that I could use in my English class and found plenty.
