This book has everything a new German learner can ask for. Simple language, stories with interesting characters and plots, meanings of new words, phrases and summary of every chapter in both English and German, although I must mention, English summaries of many chapters were rather odd. German summaries were fine.
But overall this book is nice. Stories are interesting and that keeps you going.
I would recommend this book to all German learners. Its language is simple and grammar-wise it is okay, but the use of different phrases, and use of Umgangssprache makes it worth reading even for B2 level students!

I'll give this a shot...

Wenn Sie bereit sind, Ihr Deutch über Niveau a2 zu verbessern, kaufen Sie dieses Buch. Die Geschichten waren leicht zu lesen, aber es wurde nicht langweilig, was oft mit deiser Art von Buch passiert.

When you are ready to improve your German past the a2 level buy this book. The stories were easy to read but it didn't become boring, which can often be the case with this type of book.

ausgezeichnet! These stories are cute and fun, probably more for intermediate learners, but each short section is followed by a German recap, followed by an even shorter English language summary and some reading comprehension questions and vocabulary lists. So for beginners through to late intermediate, there is something to learn. The audio version felt natural but slow enough to be easy to listen to, with entertaining narrators speaking clear deutlich high German.
I hope they will put out an "intermediate" and "advanced" reader in audio format next.
