Our summer Bible study group chose this book and read it over the course of two summers. The author opened my eyes to the Hebrew language, which is so intricate and beautiful. It’s amazing how one word can mean so many different things, express so many specific thoughts. Although I felt the author made some assumptions- some ideas seemed like a bit of a stretch, there were many ideas that I loved, and at the very least, this makes me evaluate what I read in the Bible with so much more depth.
