A Second Chance at an Extraordinary Love—and Lust...
When Chad Stone and Josh Bennett last crossed paths, both had been on the fast track to fame. Josh — Chad’s best friend Ashley’s scorching hot older brother — was on his way to football stardom, while Chad was about to embark on a musical career after being accepted to one of the most prestigious music conservatories in America.
But four years after a night of red-hot passion forced Chad into making a dream-shattering choice, Josh Bennett has become a household name while Chad lives hand-to-mouth slinging drinks at the local sports bar. Worse yet, Josh is coming back to town to attend Ashely’s wedding — a wedding at which Chad must make an appearance, even if it means exposing the real reason he called off their romance all those years ago.
This is a stand alone story with a HEA and no cliffhangers.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: This books contains mature language and explicit content, including male breeding and knotting, and is intended for audiences over 18 years of age.
I really enjoyed Chris and Nathan’s story. I loved how the author kept us in suspense on the mission. My mind was coming up with all kinds of scenarios throughout the whole story. And yet, I didn’t think of what actually happened.
This was an amazing read. Chad was as sweet as can be and trying to keep things how he had them. Even knowing that the odds were against him with both Josh and Ashley when they were both back in town.
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Another great love story that I wish was longer. I loved Josh, Chad and of course Emmy was simply adorable! There is something in this story that is not mentioned in the blurb. I'm not going to mention it or put it in a spoiler I will say it's NOT something that a lot of readers stay away from ie: cheating, abuse, rape etc but it is something that's different at least for me it was. This was my first time reading this type of story and I'm really surprised at how much I liked it.
This is another story from this author that could use some cleaning up by an editor or a proof reader to catch the switched names and wrong pronouns. It's kind of baffling to me that you can write a story about men but mistakenly use she/her for he/him multiple times. That's just weird to me.
Even with the editing errors I still really liked this story!
