Oh my, oh my!! Where to begin?
Have you ever read a book that made you feel? Happy? Sad? Hurt? Longing? ANGER?? This book gives you all of that and more. The story pulled me in and wouldn't release me until it was over. Makes me want to have a Xander Cage of my own.
Alexander Cage aka Xan has had his share of heartbreak. So he keeps his focus on his work. Not letting anyone distract him from making a name for himself.
Brianna (Bria) Powers has had a tough life. At a young age, she started doing what she had to in order to create a better life for herself.
All it took was one night. Things changed. Rules changed. Their world was sent into a tailspin.
Do they fight the pull that they feel towards each other or do they give in?

I don't know where to even start about this book. I finished reading Focused & Driven last night and I'm still dealing with the feels from this book. I had to message the author to tell her how deeply this book hit me. I did that today, to give myself time to find my words. It didn't help one bit. I still cried like a baby messaging her. That's how much this book touched me. I'm going to start by listing a few of my fave things about this book. Don't worry, it'll be spoiler free.
1) The characters, Xander and Bria, were perfect for their respected parts. Not just them but everyone surrounding them as well.
2) Yes I got frustrated with some of the decisions made by certain characters. That actually makes me very happy as a reader. It keeps me reading, I have to know what happens. Life isn't easy so reading about it shouldn't be either.
3) I cried...like ugly ugly cried!! The storyline, the interaction between characters and the overall feeling this book gives you is totally worth the cry.
4) This story was both breathtaking and beautiful. I'll be honest right now, only certain books make it onto my Must Have Paperback list. Focused & Driven is definitely on that list. It's totally worth the wait.

OK so I F***ing LOVED this book.. and I want to thank the author for giving me the opportunity to read this book.. If I could give it a million stars I would..
This is the story of Alexander Cage (Xander) and Brianna Powers (Bria). These are two very Focused and Driven people.. Both have very strong heads on their shoulders.. they both have been severely burned in past relationships.. neither are looking for that "one". So when she is dragged to a motocross race by her BFF (to watch her bff's little bro race) her whole world is turned upside down..
I have to say these two were very adimate on NOT changing their minds about a relationship.. They both had their goals and would not deter from obtaining them. So they agreed to just a little fun.. Let loose and just be free for a short time.. but when all the feelings start to come to surface.. what is one to do?? Gaaaa I want to just go on and on.. tell you EVERYTHING.. but I will not.. You will just have to read this book to find out for yourself..
I soooo loved the secondary characters too.. I cannot wait to see where this author goes with this series.. Hoping for a JoAnna and Jarred book.. (hint hint).

I FLOVED this story from the very beginning. This book is a must read. I was drawn in and I swear I felt everything that these two did. Savana was able to make me feel every possible feeling there is. At one point in the book I actually threw down my Kindle in anger. As I was reading this beautiful story, I actually wanted to smack Xander, man oh man did he make me angry.

I really drew a connection with these characters. Even the secondary characters. They are both very dedicated to their jobs, goals and futures. Neither one of them had any plans to be in a relationship. I can't even say once they met that that changed in any way. They fought against their connection. Not wanting to have anything get in their way of what was ahead of them. And both their past relationships were nothing but trouble and heartache. The chemistry between the two was just too strong to ignore. They finally give in to have some fun and let loose a little. But once again that connection between them had other plans. Everything spiraled from there and hearts and emotions and futures were all tangled up together. You must read this one to see all the craziness that unfolds between 2 very focused and driven people who were thrown into a whirlwind romance. One other thing I loved about this story was how strong the other characters were in this book. We get to know quit a bit about them and what their futures hold too.

Savana Jade has written another masterpiece!! One that will pull at your heart strings, frustrate you, make you laugh, and make you fall in love with not just the characters but the story. This a complete page turner that I didn't want to put down and I only did when I absolutely had to. For me, this was a story that pulled at every emotion in me. I cheered for the characters, got mad at them, cried and laughed with them, and truly fell in love with them. Savana Jade definitely knows how to write a unique story that hits you right in the heart. I finished reading last night and I am still trying to calm my emotions down from reading.

Forever in the stars.....
This is my first book by this author and it will definitely NOT be the last. Really fell in love with these cast of characters. Hard to believe how long of a road they took to be each others forever. This book had just the right amount of awesome storyline, live, sex scenes and a few little well OK major bumps along the way. Thanks for keeping this avid reader entertained.

Wow!
This story had me from page one to the last! I cried, I laughed, and loved with the characters. I felt like I was right there with them as they went thru all they did.

Awesome Read!!!
I am so in love with this book. These characters had to fight for their love and it was amazing to experience their journey. Brianna and Xander were an AMAZING couple. They were strong willed and very passionate. Loved them.
This would have been a five star rating if this book didn't need a bit more proofreading. Missing punctuation and wrong words had me highlighting a bit too much, which for my OCD brain, is not sometime fond of.
Overall, I adored this story and look forward to reading more by the author.

This book is full of angst. The lead characters were focused, driven and lost. I wanted to yell at them to quit being so stubborn. But bottom line, I admired them for their drive, their purpose, their commitment to their goals. If ever there is a strong female character, Bria would be #1 out of 100. I loved Xander for not being a spoiled little rich kid. I truly loved the friendship, bond between Xander and Jarred. And I'm not ashamed to say that I wasn't happy with Jo and a snap decision she made. In all their hardships, I liked the thankful, grateful personalities of Bria and Zach.

HOLY MOTHER OF BOOK LOVERS!!!
I ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY LOVED, LOVED, LOVED THIS BOOK! This story made me feel such a plethora of emotions I don't know where to begin. At times I laughed and I cried a lot. Lol. Just when I pulled myself together I was crying again. The love between Bria and Xander was beyond words. I can only imagine having someone love me like that. At times I was screaming at my kindle. These two just about drove me crazy. Even though their relationship moved quite fast it was perfectly timed out. In my mind I pictured what all the characters would look like. Jo is Bria's best friend and she definitely puts their friendship to the test. Jarred is Xander's best friend and he is in love with Jo. How cool is that? Zachary is Bria's younger brother and is as sweet as can be. He loves and respects Bria so much and they depend on and support each other. At times I felt like I was watching a Lifetime move. Lol. Bria and Xander's story is so romantic. Their chemistry is off the charts right from the first time he looks into her eyes. Even though Bria and Zachary never had a very good home life, after she meets Xander their family begins to get bigger everyday. Xander's family is amazing and love Bria and Zach so much. But Xander's Godfather Geno is the one who touches her heart the most. He reminds her of her father who she absolutely adored but is no longer with them. He helps Xander and Bria get through some tough trials and tribulations to make them see what's been in front of them the whole time. I EXTREMELY recommend this book to everyone! Oh and did I mention, the sex is freakin smokin hot! Lol .Thank you Savana for sharing such an amazing story with us.

WOW! What an awesome read! I had the pleasure of helping out with this book and when chapters were sent to read, I wanted more. I couldn't get enough. The feelings that this book gave me were up and down. I smiled, I laughed (yes out loud), I cried & I got frustrated. When a book makes me feel the emotion the characters are giving, I automatically fall in love.
Xander & Bria are strong, hard headed people. They are both focused on their medical careers and have no time for a relationship. The chemistry between these two made me giddy and gave me that "quiver" when they were together (which was absolutely HOT). They, however, tried to fight it every chance they got. Not an easy thing to do. They had their fun, but that was it. Or so they thought.
I wanted to scream and shout at them when they fought against each other. They were meant to be, but decided they shouldn't. The twists Savana adds to the story blow my mind. Never saw them coming.
Focused & Driven is a page turner til the end. Will Xander and Bria stop being stubborn and finally give in to what is meant to be? Or will they go their separate ways and move up in their careers like they had planned?

This was a good book, well written but it dragged a little for me , the male character was hot and sexy, I had some laughs along the way.

Books should be somewhat believable
First I could not finish this mess... They declare their love for one another then try to "hit it and quit it." But if course they get thrown together. .he is alpha...they declare they love each other & will not see anyone else, but they won't be together??? I quit at this juncture.

I don't get how a smart self made doctor becomes a sappy, bar fighting individual over a lady. Sex is not romance, it does not matter how many time they have sex. I didn't enjoy this book. Sorry
