Skeleton Key Book Series One Skeleton Key. Endless Adventures. A curse so powerful, not even true love’s kiss can break it. Crowned king at seventeen, Aurelio fears he cannot rule on his own. Knowing Zanta is his soulmate, he proposes, and the kingdom celebrates. The next morning, however, their plans are hindered. Aurelio awakens as a dragon, unable to change back into his human form. Zanta's curse is the opposite, stuck as a human, unable to change into her dragon self. Zanta must learn to rule the kingdom while Aurelio searches for their freedom in the City of the Undead, all the while trying to discover who cursed them to begin with. In a race against time, Aurelio must succeed before becoming undead himself and getting trapped in the wrong city forever, while Zanta must prove to the people that she is worthy to be their queen, and that she didn't just murder her fiancé to gain his kingdom for her own.
Konstanz Silverbow is a creator of jewelry, player of violins, and student of medieval weaponry. She discovered a love for writing by accident and it became her passion. Her nights are now filled with getting words on the page and keeping her pet dragons tamed.
A sweet short story about courage, love and overcoming the odds. First off, I'm a huge lover of dragons so I'm always excited to read a dragon story. This one was just okay for me. I don't know I think I was expecting more... More action, and suspense. But overall it wasn't bad. I did enjoy the story line but there was so much that was left unexplored that I'm left wanting more. I can't wait to read the other books in this collection and learn more about the Skeleton Key and possibly more of the curses and such. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
I am a big fan of dragons and the author of this short story other books. She has a great way of weaving a story so that you feel like your going along for the ride and that you can not stop tell you know how it all going to end. For us this one is easily read in one day. It one of several in a collection by various authors so if ya like this one your sure to want to check out the rest of the short story collection.
This book is quite literally exactly what the blurb says but with more details in the book. The characters are sweet and a bit naive which makes you feel really bad for them when they are thrust into a situation neither are ready for. Even more so when the curse activates. Sometimes they came across as slightly juvenile but considering their young ages and lack of life experiences it was expected. The adventure of the story is interesting and some of the characters are shifty. Before I was even done the book I kept thinking 'ok thats suspicious could they be evil....?'. I have to add that I loved how supportive they were for one another. Their inner strength shines through most when helping one another. Thats true love right there! I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next one to hear more of the story. (I would say more but this is a fairly straightforward book and I don't want to ruin it for anyone!)
Aurelio is the prince of a dragon kingdom, who abruptly comes into power when his father dies. It turns out there is a curse on the family, and as soon as he takes the thrown he is unable to shift back from his dragon form into his human form. He's forced to go on a journey to find the wizard that can break the spell. In the meantime, his fiance, Zanta, has to rule in his absence. This was a fantastical and fun, short story.
What more can I say than- DRAGON SHIFTERS! Seriously though, fun, fast-paced read that I hope is expanded into a series. I haven't read a Skeleton Key book that disappointed me yet. A must read.
This book was boring and I only got a couple chapters into it before I decided it wasn’t worth my time. The character development was shallow and the storyline was not very interesting.
"Curse..." is a really cute fantasy story involving a couple of young dragon shifters newly engaged to be married. However, on the morning of the wedding Aurelio and his love, Zanta, find that they are cursed; each stuck in either their dragon or human form. It is up to Aurelio to find the wizard that can break them of the curse or risk losing each other forever. I enjoyed this story; it was an easy read with just enough fantasy elements to keep you entertained, and even a surprise revelation at the end. I believe it is a YA story, but to me seemed actually written for an even younger audience. Still, it was enjoyable, and I would recommend it to people who enjoy YA/Fantasy, but maybe not for adults who enjoy more mature fantasy reading.

I enjoyed this book from the beginning. The author wrote it to where, in my head, I had the accent, was able to get into the mindset. I love the idea of dragon/human. I have not read anything like that before. And I was curious as to how they were going to add in the Skeleton Key. It was a short story, which most from that Series are. Konstanz Silverbow, didn't give us a bunch of information we didn't need, she gave us all the info that worked along side the story, made it interesting. Inside this book you will find, Love, Family devotion, Loyalty, Courage & Deceit. I usually prefer a longer story, and I wish this one had been, but it was a nice get away from reality for the time being. I will be checking out the Author's other books as well.
This is the first Skeleton Key book I've gotten to read and now that I've read Konstanz's book, I definitely want to take a look at the rest of them. All of the books in the Skeleton Key series are unrelated, aside from there being a skeleton key somewhere within the book. I love that!
Miss Silverbow's book is about dragons, a topic she knows a lot about. They always say write what you know, right? She does so flawlessly, with a story unlike any I've ever read before. It's a cute story, but enthralling. If you love stories about dragons, kings and queens, and curses, this book is for you!
This is clean fantasy story about family, loyalty, love and courage.
I really liked the story and I liked Aurelio.
Aurelio is loyal son of dragon king. He is put to a test at young age. His loyalty, love and courage help him on his path.
It was little too cute and too short for me, but it is story for much younger audience. I would recommend it to all who love cute, clean and short fantasy.
With the King knowing his time is up and now his son Aurelio will now be king, he learns of a curse. With having the love of his life and future queen. He awakes knowing he can't shift to human form and is now in dragon form. Aurelio must go and break the curse and marry his future queen. But what he learns will he ever make it back? I love the skeleton key series and can't wait to read the next one.

This is the second book in the Skeleton Key books I have read and I enjoyed it. A mysterious curse going back long ago and a horrid little fellow betraying someone who never suspected it. Great plot.
It was a good story. I very much enjoyed it. I just wished that the author would add more details. It felt like a thin book for such an epic adventure.
I'm loving the Skeleton Key books. This one does not disappoint. It has dragons, mermaids, fairies and all sorts of mythical creatures. It did take a bit to get used to alternate chapters told by the two main characters but it made total sense in the end.
