TITLE: FOR3VER
AUTHOR: M. Dauphin & H.Q. Frost
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
PUBLISHED: April 7th 2015
MY RATING: 5 Stars

On my blog page I posted a question: Recommend me some books that made you fugly cry and funnily enough this was one of them..I didn't fugly cry but a few tears did leak there way out..

The three of us together were unstoppable, friends 'til the end, thick as thieves.

I loved this book, the characters, the story line, the two brothers and Ry, the feels that course through your body hit after hit, the drama, the rawness of the story, the way it's written just had such a strong pull on me..As you read you can not help but fall in love with these kids (age 8 upwards), what they endured, the love, the bond of three friendships.

I was eight when I figured out what being in love was like, I'm talking about a love of a girl that you know will change your whole life. I was eight when I realized I loved Ryley Reynolds ~ Liam

Ryley fucking Reynolds. My best friend. My true love. I loved to hate her and hated I loved her.

I love a best friends to lovers book but this was so much more..

I think in all seriousness though if this had a sexy az hell hot male tatted up, with piercings (the new and improved older Liam) all those hooker cover hoes (me totally included, without the recommendation) would be jumping on this book..This cover lets the book down, and please this is only my own opinion..

I'd loved him since I was a kid, he was my first love, my only true love, and he would always have a special place in my heart.

I sure as hell wasn't going to lose my best friend or my only brother over the shit that changed me in my life, it hurt that the girl I wanted was with my brother.

FOR3VER AND ALWAYS, NO MATTER WHAT LIFE THROWS OUR WAY, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MINE AND i WILL ALWAYS BE YOURS.

So all you hooker cover hoes go one click this book it's money well worth spending!!

I have so many feels with this book, I just don't know where to start, or how to rate this. This book was good and I was pulled into the friendship between Gabe, Liam, and Ryley. For3ver starts off when the three of them were little and Liam was in love with Ryley. From the beginning Liam just knew that Ryley was his forever love. It was sweet and innocent. Then as they all become teenagers circumstances change, and this is when I slowly started hating Ryley. SPOILERS AHEAD: I hate cheating in a book. I know many would not consider what Ryley did with LIAMS BROTHER cheating, as they were not together, but to me it was. I have a huge ICK factor when the "heroine" of the book sleeps with both brothers. It just does not work for me. To top this off Liam finds Ryley and Gabe having sex, WHILE HE IS TAKING HER INNOCENCE. The chain of events that follow were destructive and sad. Ryley never deserved Liam and I felt that in the end she just didn't do enough to even begin to earn his love. He loved her and wanted her from the beginning and it was never enough, until she decided it was. Also, the secret that she kept from him was just wrong. I know that I am definitely in the minority here. I see all the 5 star reviews and wonder if I read the same book. The slow build up in the beginning ended up being so rushed. The only shining star in this book is Liam, no he was not perfect at the start but in the end he was much more than Ryley deserved. I would have rated this a solid 3 stars if not for my dislike of Ryley and her sleeping with BOTH brothers.

This was recommended & gifted to me by a friend and I trust her judgement so I jumped into it as soon as I could.

This book was a great read. Such a nice change from the same old stories.

Right from page one I was captured by the simple, easy flow of the writing style that brought me right into the story and helped me connect.

This story is an emotional ride of ups and downs and happy moments met with sad ones. It will pull at your anger as well as your heart strings and part of you will connect in some way or another.

It's refreshing to see something different for a change. I know myself I am getting tired of the same old sport stories and millionaire office girl tales. It's time to stretch that rope and this book does that well.

OMG !!! I could not put this book down. Once I started reading I could not put it down. M. Dauphin and H.Q. Frost have taken their two different but, amazing writing style and have created one epic read. I just love these two author. I could not wait to get FOR3VER into my greedy hands I knew this was going to be an amazing read, but I did not expect this. This story went above and beyond my expectations.

This book completely broke me, then piece by piece put me back together again.
As I read, I fell in love with these young kids. It all started at the age of 6 when Ryley moved in next door to the Porter boy's Gage, Liam, and, their grand mother. The three of them became inseparable vowing to be best friends forever. Two years later at the young age of 8 Liam had realized what love was and, he love his best friend Ryley Reynolds, and vowed to always protect her.

* Excerpt *
"Are you sad, Ry?"
"Yes," she squeaked, nodding her head.
So I shoved my face at her. I smacked her with my nose, but got my lips to
hers and I kissed her as fast as I could. My heart was a jackhammer in my
chest and my stomach felt like a popcorn machine.
"Are you happy now?" I nervously shouted at her.
"Why'd you do that?" She rubbed her face where my nose smacked her.
"So you'd stop crying. I think you should be my girlfriend now."

Shortly after, things became complicated for Liam and Gage. With the return of their uncaring mother, her abusive boyfriend and their half sister, the boys had to endure some pretty tragic events. Fearing for Ryley's safety. Liam had to put distance between them.

* Excerpt *
That was one of the worst days of my life. I lost Ryley as my girlfriend
and I lost my dog to a sadistic f* that I swore I'd kill if he hurt my
sister. I lost my trust in people and happiness was a rare gem in my house
anymore after I realized just how much the world could hurt you. Gage was
with me, the less I saw of Ryley, the more he started to talk to me, but we
didn't talk about pointless kid things anymore. We talked about ways to get
back at Rod; we talked about whose ass we were going to kick in school if
they looked at us funny. We talked about why you can't love a girl without
getting yourself hurt and why I needed to let Ryley go. If I couldn't
protect myself, I couldn't protect her.

Watching this young kids fall in love and, fall apart was intense and heartbreaking. This is an emotional torturing kind of read.

The love, loss, pain, sensual, heartbreak, awakening, and the moving on, all kinds of emotions was stirred and blended very well in the story. I cried like a baby throughout my journey with this read, but even during some of the worst times, I still was able to smile even though my heart was completely broken.

I can not praise these two authors enough who has come together and created such a exceptionally, beautifully well written story.
As much as this book made me cry and, crushed my heart on so many occasions, it left me deliriously happy.

Likes:
✔The character development in this story is incredible.
✔Beautiful happy ending.
✔no cliffhanger!
✔Duel Point of View
✔The gut wrenching emotion was replaced by many happy tears.
✔It is a unforgettable read
✔The music was right on with the way you saw these two.

LEEANN'S REVIEW

Firstly, I would never have guessed that this was written by 2 people. The story & writing was seamless.

This is a story of 3 best friends and how their relationship evolves over time. It is about how people can grow apart & come
back together. It is a story of tragedy, loss, love, heartbreak, devastation & the triumph of love over hate.

The power of the love for & of a child is all consuming & has the power to heal old wounds. This is a lesson both Ryley & Liam learn
together. Unfortunately by the time they are both ready to learn this lesson it is 6 years later & they have both gone through lots of
life changes.

When you start reading this book, it is all about the childhood of Liam, Gage & Ryley. There are moments that will have you laughing out loud
but there are other that will have you shedding tears for what these kids go through at times.
As they grow up they go through things all teenagers go through & then there are events that take place & things change forever.

This is one of those books that you read & experience all of the emotions that come up in the story. You can’t help but be caught up & invested in
the characters and when you get to the end you won’t want the story to stop reading. I could have gone on & read more of these characters story for hours & been
happy to do so! Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, including this book!!

I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone, it was that good!!

OH MY FREAK’N LORD….this book…. I just can’t even say enough how much I LOVED this book. It captured me and drug me in. I felt amazing love and loss, triumphant victories and unbelievable struggles. This book had so many feels that just made me hungry for more and more. I enjoyed the sweet nature that the story was born from and the mature admiration that it ended with. It was perfectly worded and eloquently delivered.

I just wanted to marry and kill the Porter boys!! Their loyalty was admirable and their hearts were so pure and true. They also made me want to smack them both. They had every idea of what they wanted and no at the same time. Poor lil' Ryley…she was a love struck fool for both of them! She loved and lost so many times but her heart truly knew where it belonged. It just took tragedy, maturity and a lot of years to recover what she knew was hers forever.

Ryley and Liam had that amazing best friend relationship that grew and grew until one day it broke…along with the bracelet she wore to remind her of her loyalty and trust. I absolutely loved watching them grow up together. They made each other smile and cry and it was absolutely beautiful. “If Ryley was happy then I was content”. Liam truly was head over heels in love with the girl, the lady and the woman Ryley became. I JUST ABOUT DIED when they finally figured out that they were each other’s forever!! The romance, the lust and the tears are all what made this book so amazing.

I am completely smitten with this story and characters. It’s one of those books that will stay with me because of the purity it all possessed. It screamed first time love and then it whispered “the time you said yes to forever’…I am 100% in love with Liam and Ryley and cannot wait for more from them. I want their passion and their longevity to continue on and on. I completely recommend this book! If you enjoy a good romance, heartbreaking turmoil with a dash of redemption then this book is absolutely for you. 5 star read and 1oo times worth this amazing and memorable story.

Prior to beginning this story I was in such a book funk to the point that the last thing I had started reading I have not had a chance to finish. Giving in the referrals of this absolute must read I finally jumped into this novel.

Thank goodness I did because this was an phenomenal amazing read! Not only was I wide awake all night reading as well as having to force myself to stop around 4ish in the morning to get some shut eye it also restarted the emotional feels that I have not been getting lately. It grabbed my heart from the first chapter and took it on a crazy wild ride that still have my mind reeling. This was not just a story about childhood friendships and love it was so much more!

The three of us together were unstoppable, friends ‘til the end, thick as thieves.

The closeness between the Porter brothers, Liam and Gage and Ryley Reynolds all began when they became neighbors. They grew up together, knew each other forwards and backwards, and practically did everything together. As with any relationship feelings stir and grow deeper and into something more, as well as changes in personality where they each begin forming their beliefs along with their roles in life.

The ups and downs, the good and bad; they faced it in a way they knew best within themselves and with each other until something became too much and things began to change. Without saying more and accidently revealing any spoilers I want to leave you to experience this beautiful 5 stars story first hand because the first time will not be enough and it will have you itching to go back for a re-read.

**arc received for honest review**

We have had to sit and ponder over this book we were sort of lost for words and don't know how to sum up an amazing yet emotional book.
Ryley 6 years old sees a little boy her age crash into a tree, she goes to help this little boy and meets her soul mate her forever but forever doesn't come easy for Ryley and Liam they have a gut wrenching journey.
Ryley and Liam are best friends along with Liam's brother Gage. The 3 are inseparable. Liam and Gage live next door to Ryley with their grandma and Ryley lives with her mum and dad.
Ryley has loved Liam since she was 6 and Liam has loved Ryley the same but Liam goes through so issues and pushes her away and she hooks up with Gage for a while until shit goes bad and Liam is there to pick up her pieces.
Liam takes Ryley to the prom now that her and Gage have spilt he knows that she was desperate to go and wanted to make her dream come true and take her.
After prom they make a drunken choice and have sex in the back of her car and only a few weeks after that shit goes really bad for them.
How do you come back from a death of a brother?
The death of your best friend?
How do you continue?
Then you get slammed again with an abortion or so you think.
It's all too much for Liam he packs up and leaves never to turn back.
Sometimes death can push you away but sometimes can bring you closer.
After the death of another family Member Liam and Ryley cross paths again.
Is it a happy reunion or is it too painful?
How do you look back and see your own eyes steering at you?
Can you move on from all the hurt and the pain?
Just when you think you can you get slammed again but this tragedy will change everything.........
This book had us laughing and had us crying we could feel every emotion that the authors poured into this book, we cried tears of joy, sorrow and heart break.
We went in blind with this arc not knowing the authors or much about it but we are so bloody grateful we signed up for it. We haven't had a book like this for a little bit and it was jam packed full of surprises and we simply couldn't put it down we read it in a few hours. We were captivated from the very 1st page all the way to the end and then we still wanted more.....
Thank you so much for taking us on an amazing emotional journey!!
Quotes we loved

This is a story that follows the lives of Ryley, Liam and Gage but the main focus is Ryley and Liam, but that is not to diminish the part the Gage plays in their lives.
Liam and Gage are brothers and Ryley there next door neighbour and from the innocence of their childhood there has been a bond that ties them together.
Liam and Ryley have a story that will break your heart, it will leave you staggered by the emotion and the depth of feeling that it draws from you. My eyes stung as the tears flowed and I have no chance to stem the flow, the book left me emotionally distraught.
Ryley knows how she feels about Liam, damn she has loved him since she was six, but while they may have grown up together and been practically joined at the hip, there are the inevitable issues as the children they were, gives way to the young people they have become and the angst and issues of approaching adulthood means that the decisions made are not always the right move.
Forced to take a breather, Liam’s belligerence and self-absorbency means that he pushes her into the arms of his brother but that creates more issues than any one of them could have possibly imagined. A relationship with Gage was never going to be her best idea but when her life falls apart it is Liam that provides her with a shoulder to cry on.
But could they find an even keel to build their friendship back up, Liam does his best, he knows that Gage was supposed to take Ryley to her prom but with him no longer in the picture, he gives his friend his arm and leads her to her prom, but they take a drunken step down a path that will be irrevocable when they foolishly hook up later that night.
I understood their emotion and attraction had taken on a drunken will of its own but I had a hankering that this was not the start of a happy ever after. I was gutted that this pair were unwittingly being so destructive.
I wanted more for Ryley and Liam than a drunken fumble but I needed them to be able to see clearly not be clouded by the fog of alcohol but that fog was quickly dissipated by the cloud of fog, pain and sorrow when it replaced what they were going through a few short weeks later.
They were left reeling from a loss that was devastating – with grief came anger and with anger came regret and drowning in emotion Liam walked away, leaving Ryley and everything that he believed he had lost, including her.
I think I was practically hyperventilating at this point, his pain was so tangible that I could barely see the words before me, I needed him to see that his pain was temporary, he had a way back and that he didn’t need to leave but completely blinded by grief and in some respects anger he convinced himself there was nothing left for him to stay. My heart was well and truly being wrung out at this point, I couldn’t bear what he was doing to Ryley and she needed him.
But eventually he had to head home and while it was under yet another sad circumstance, he had more waiting for him than he had ever considered.
Could he live with what he had missed out on, could he forgive what had been kept from him and could he see that this just might be his chance to start again, I certainly had everything crossed.
I adored this book, the characters, their story and they optimism. I love the fact that the author gave me a release valve, a justifiably beautiful story that begged for my heart to open and let the characters in and pleaded with me to allow them a place to call home. I laughed throughout the book but I have to admit that I spent so much of my time with a tissue in my hand I thought it had taken root – I was blown away by what is an emotional powerful tale of love, loss and resolution.

My review had big time spoilers!!

Omg... I seriously don't even know where to start with this review.

This book was all over the place. It jumped a lot time wise. It was really hard to focus on what was what. Once I settled on one part of the book it just shifted to another part.
I was really feeling Gage and Liam's and Riley's friendship in the early years. Right away you know who belonged to who.
As the years went on.... Liam was a big jerk to Riley.
The reasons he acting like that... I thought were pretty lame.
But, still.... Riley loved him and wanted more from him.

Their teenage years... I felt is where it started to go down hill for me.
Riley... What she did and why she did it. Just didn't sit well with me and just effected how I felt about her in this book.
I really wasn't feeling Gage either.
Because, he knew what he was doing was wrong.
In Riley's mind she truly thought everything could move on like nothing.

Prom was bad. I really didn't like what Riley did. She knew how Liam felt for her. And yet she really didn't care.
I'm 100% pro choice!
But even I was having a hard time with Riley's reasoning for having an abortion.

The way she jumped from one brother to the other.
She messed up 2 brothers. They only had each other to lean on. She was playing with their emotions!
She changed people's life's.
The reason why I blame her is because she loved Gage.... but she wasn't in love with him. She thought if she couldn't have one brother. The one she really wanted.
Then at least she would have the other. Which I though was wrong.

And omg.... When she went back to the clinic... I thought she was extremely immature and irresponsible! The way she was thinking and talking to the nurse!...
I was pretty upset!!

Ughhh.
She tried to play the part that it was all Liam. Most of it was.
But, she made some pretty horrible choice and I think she needed to own up to it.
She had to know what she was doing would put a rift between the brothers.
Riley kept saying she loved Liam. She loved him with her her whole being. But in the next sentence.... She would say she didn't want to loose her friendship with him.

I kept thinking as I was reading that Riley was playing games with Liam and Gage.
And I think Gage should have never did what he did with Riley. He was the one to start it all and Riley fell right into it all. Because she was so upset with her fight with Liam.

Man...
they kept flopping back and forth between each other. It was getting pretty old.
They say the most hateful things to one another. Then they are saying I love you and how much they are friends and best friends.
I was pretty shocked about what Gage did. I wish we would have gotten more from him. I wanted to know the turmoil that was going on in his head.
After it all settled with what happened with Gage. I really felt Riley could have just left a message or a text for Liam.
She should have never let 5 years past. That I thought was wrong on her part. She always thought Liam should have a life. I think she just didn't want to deal with him. Because of what happened to Gage. She knew part of what he did was her fault.

I think towards the end of the book. When Liam came back into Riley's life. Everything happens just too fast.
I mean.... I felt bad about what happened to her. Bur I felt they should have taken things slow. They were already saying The I love you's. Getting back together. And just becoming one big happy family.

This book was just not for me.

**Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**

This was by far a very emotional book. It was such a compelling story about three kids that had a friendship like no other since they were children. As they started growing up Riley and Liam knew that they felt more than just friendship for each other but as they became teenagers, Liam became closed off and distant due to family problems so Riley turns to Gage, Liam's older brother. The brothers seem to have shared more than just a friendship kind of love for Riley.

Riley and Liam go through some very emotional and sad times throughout their friendship. Riley knows how to hurt Liam and she couldn't have hurt him worse than what she did, she really gutted him but he accepted it and decided to stay friends with Riley either way even though it killed him.

Then Riley turns around and does something unforgivable in Liam's eyes. Liam loses someone very close in his life and then Riley gives me some news that will devastate Liam. He decides he can't deal with her and leaves to study at another state, city and as far away from her as he possibly can.

When certain circumstances brings Liam back into town, he finds out secrets that Riley withheld from him, and not by her choice. He chose to ignore her calls for a year and she realized she wasn't going to get anywhere with him so she gave up. She was living with a man who didn't pan out to be who she thought he was and ended up suffering some serious consequences at the hands of this psychopath.

Liam realizes that he still loves Riley and is determine to prove to her that he wants to be with her and he'll do it at whatever cost.

I took a liking to Liam. At times though I seriously thought he was a damn moron for putting up with Riley and letting her walk all over him. But love is blind and when you love someone with all your heart, you just don't care how you are being treated and this was the case with Liam. Riley, I give her props, she was a woman who wouldn't stop at nothing and she always got what she wanted and in the end she did get what she wanted -- they both got their HEA, which is all that matters.

We all make mistakes in life and even though Riley made some bad decisions, she always was able to convince the brothers that their bond was unbreakable regardless of what happened between them three. They had a great bond but I didn't condone many things that Riley did in this book. Although this is what made the story and I think the authors did a superb job with this story. At times I felt like I needed kleenex because some parts of the book were unbelievably sad and made me want to scream "NO"!!!

5 outstanding stars for this read!!

I truly don't know how to rate this book and that has never happened to me before. I went into this book very excited. All the reviews I read said things like: "best book of 2015" "must read" and so on, however I didn't feel that was the case. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a bad book. I guess it just wasn't for me. Let me break down this book for those who are curious.
Ryley and Liam live next door to each other and are best friends, as is Liam's brother Gage. At the young age of 8 both Liam and Ryley know they are the one for each other. Their forever loves. Of course life doesn't always play out the way we want it to. They become boyfriend and girlfriend at 9 and by the age of 12 Liam breaks up with Ryley to keep her safe from his mom and mom's boyfriend who is very abusive. After Liam and Gage take a beating from hell thanks to mommy's boyfriend he becomes broken and starts to withdrawal from everyone. Ryley still believes they will be together and little do they both know that they are saving themselves for each other. For Liam's 16 birthday Ryley throws him a surprise party with the help of Gage. Liam looses his shit on Ryley basically pushing her into the arms of Gage. Now this is were the story really takes a turn for me. Ryley loves Liam, but chooses to give herself to Gage because she is upset and they become a couple. Gage knows that Liam is in Love with Ryley, but not only takes Ryley's virginity he makes her his girlfriend. Yeah that to me is beyond fucked up. You don't take your brothers girl especially when you know he only broke up with her to protect her. Not only that Liam goes to apologize to her only to find the two in bed. Of course this pisses him off so he bangs the person he knows will hurt Ryley. Year later Gage becomes abusive and cheats on Ryley and become destructive when she breaks up with him. Liam steps in to take her to prom they have sex she gets knocked up. She decides to "take care of it" causing Gage to kill himself and Liam to leave her. Little does she know that it didn't work and she is still pregnant. Fast forward 6 years Liam comes back to their small town to find her with a kid and dating a jackass. He becomes verbally abusive to her in a drunken state and then of course they work it out the next day when he finds out the kid is his. Then more shit happens Ryley gets beat and raped by her jackass boyfriend. Now a year or two later they are getting married and she is pregnant again.
So for me this book was pretty much just depressing and I don't like the whole let me love you now I'm going to bang your brother even though I'm still in love with you, but at the end of the day we get our happily ever after.

Ok so I just finished For3ver by H.Q. Frost & M. Dauphin This is the first book I have read by these authors, I was gifted a copy to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

When I started this book I saw the index page and that there were only 17 chapters I immediately thought gosh that’s short. How wrong I was!!!! These are 17 of the longest chapters in the world ever!!!

The book is told in duel POV from both Ryley and Liam. Normally I love a duel POV but today it just made me hate both characters instead of just one!!!!

The first three quarters of this book are about Ryley, Liam and Gage Liam’s older brother as children. I was expecting to find a touching retelling of a blissful youth!!!! Again how wrong I was, this is a mean, dark and pretty dismal tale of three incredibly dysfunctional teenagers who grasp at each other in an incredibly unhealthy way!!!

This review is gonna be mean so I apologise now!!!

Liam, Ryley and Gage are all incredibly unlikeable characters, they pretend to love one another and care about each other’s feelings but there actions show that really they are all just playing a weird game of semi insestual chicken.

Liam is obsessed with Ryley, Gage is obsessed with Ryley. Personally I think Gages interest only stems from his jealous over Liam’s feelings for Ryley.

Ryley knows that both boys are in love with her, yet she continues to basically ‘play’ with both of them for years.

What bugs me the most is the way that even though Ryley screws over both boys and the boys both screw over each other it’s never truly discussed. The drama and weirdness of the whole situation is brushed under the carpet and ignored!!!

A series of horrifying and traumatising events occur and then the situation jumps forward six years.

If possible both Liam and Ryley as adults manage to be even more unlikeable than they were as kids and I struggled to find even a snippet of sympathy for they continuing awfulness that surrounds them!!!

This is not a happy go lucky story!!! I didn’t feel any real love connection between Liam and Ryley; it felt more like an obsessive compulsion that extensive therapy might have helped.

The dialogue flashes backwards and forwards between disconnected and robotic to so overly emotional ‘I Love You’ was literally every second phrase!!!

I really struggled to engage with this book because I disliked the characters so much!!!

I’m sorry to say that For3ver gets 1.5 stars from me.

I love it when you read a book and it just connects with you, this is the fourth book that I have read of M.Dauphin and I have noticed that with each book I read I seem to connect with them more and more. However since this is co written by H.Q. Frost I had a feeling that seeing both of their work was honestly going to be amazing and it was indeed. Some author’s automatically have the ability to create a story and without meaning to make it connect with their readers, where as sometimes you will find such an amazing book but you can feel that there is a small part missing. It was only until I was part way through the book that I found the connection, because I found that parts of what happened in the book I had experienced them in real life. It’s not easy having to rethink about what happened with me but when I read it in books, it puts things into perspective for me.

I loved how everything played out in this book, yes I’ll be honest I wished that Liam would have told Ryley what was going on when they were younger so that they didn’t push their friendship away or pretty much let each other go. However it all worked out and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I refuses to put the book down until it was finished, I seriously find it refreshing when there is a book out there that connects and even the characters inside reach out to you, not many people have that skill but when they do it shows amazingly through their work. I found the relationship between Ryley, Liam and Gage quite different but intriguing than any other friendships I have read about, but I thought the way that they were towards each other worked. However I don’t think that any of them realised the consequences that was going to lay ahead of them, as they got older.

I really want to tell you more but I feel like I would ruin it for everyone else, I do recommend that you give this book a read because it reaches out to you. Those of you that have already read this book will most likely agree with me when I say that, but it’s true. This is a good book to dive right into as you will go through every single emotion that you can think of.

THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING.......SERIOUSLY, JUST EVERYTHING!!!! After a recommendation from the FMR blog-mama, I knew this was going to be something pretty spectacular, because she was pretty much shouting from the rooftops!!!! I knew I needed to get my hand on it and read it myself!

What I actually read and experienced, was something so much more than I ever expected!
Family, friendship, the forever kind of love, twists, gut wrenching sadness, beautiful soul capturing moments and memories are just a few of the obstacles this novel had to offer.

Ryley, Liam and Gage have this childhood connection. Liam and Gage are brothers and Ryley is their next door neighbour. Both brothers want the girl but for completely different reasons, the girl is deeply in love with one but doesn't want to hurt or betray the other. But what actually develops is something so emotional that trying to put into words will not do it justice! This book deserves to be experienced! What I adored is the sweet innocent chemistry between Ryley and Liam. Their story and connection stood out to me the most and I was absolutely freaking heart broken so early on in the book that I wasn't sure how the authors were going to repair me.
But they did so PERFECTLY! The character development was incredible, and also the fact that is was a dual point of view absolutely rocked my world.

This is not just a book about boys meet girl, fight for girl, winner takes all! This book is FULL of moments and scenes that will simply take your breath away, leave you crying yourself to sleep, make you shout out at your kindle, and leave you thinking about this book days even weeks later because these authors who make an OUTSTANDING writing duo have delivered something so special full of all the feels I long for as an avid reader.

OMG... I loved this book. I cried, I got a stomach ache. I cried some more. Got more of a stomach ache. Don't you love books like that?!?!? The Can't Stop Must Read More Make It Stop kind of book.

Ryley has been best friends with the Porter boys, Gage and Liam her whole life. She always knew she loved Liam. They grew up together. Taking care of each other.

But that would be a boring story if nothing happened. If everything was daisy chains and tire swings. But their life is not all fishing by the pond. There are so many twists and turns and ups and downs. This is the story of what happens when you find your true love at 8 years old. And then life happens. Doubt happens. Lies and half truths happen. Hurt happens. Lots of hurt.

You didn't have faith in me. You should have.

I loved this book. If you like to be surprised in the worst ways. This is your book. If you like a book to bitch slap you like Molly McAdams....this is the book for you. If you like family drama like Kelly Elliott....read this. If you like an intertwining of friends and family over the years like Jay McLean....One Click this.

Get ready for a stomach ache of the best kind.

A powerful bond between the Porter boys and the Reynolds girl. A 'For3ver' kind. Perfect name for this!
Since age eight Liam and Ryley knew they were soul mates. However fate had other plans and interviened. One too many times.
Things don't always work out the way you imagined, hoped or planned.
This was packed full of heartaching tears.
A spiral of events causes a domino effect.
I was heart-stopping devastated.
One horrific moment tore a bond of three wide apart. Leaving a broken bond of two.
Fate intervened many times. Never letting up.
Every choice, every decision, every action all leads to different outcomes. If only.
This was a journey of friendship, love, betrayl, death and happy times. Prepared to have your emotional strings plucked, pulled, teased and stretched wide to breaking point.
This is one that'll stay in my heart and mind for days to come.

This book grabbed my attention from the beginning. I just bought it earlier this afternoon & couldn't put it down!!!

The Porter Boys next door was suppose to be Ryley's best friends but plans change, tragedy strikes, and secrets and lies are unveilved. This is a damaged love that is fighting for a second chance at forever.

This book is a teaser and roller coaster all the way through.

3.5 stars!

Liam Porter got to know Ryley Reynolds when he was 6 years old...

and Liam, Ry, and Liam's older brother - Gage - soon became Best Friends ... they were neighboors and became really close and grew up together...

“The three of us together were unstoppable, friends ‘till the end, thick as thieves. (...) unbreakable. We shared secrets no one would ever know about us. We laughed at things no one else would ever understand. We had each other’s backs through everything.”

“The three of us knew we would be there for each other, forever and always. No exceptions.”

Liam quickly fell in love with Ry...

“I was eight when I figured out what being in love was like.”

and at eight years old, he knew he'd do anything to keep Ryley happy and safe...

“Are you sad, Ry?"
"Yes," she squeaked, nodding her head.
So I shoved my face at her. I smacked her with my nose, but got my lips to hers and I kissed her as fast as I could. My heart was a jackhammer in my chest and my stomach felt like a popcorn machine.
"Are you happy now?" I nervously shouted at her.
"Why'd you do that?" She rubbed her face where my nose smacked her.
"So you'd stop crying. I think you should be my girlfriend now.”

But... as the 3 Friends grow older and life takes a few turns for the worst ... their Friendship is put through the test...

“… we were all growing, changing; things were going to be different than when we planned our futures out at twelve.”

“… we were going to try our hardest to be friends still. … Forever and always couldn’t end just because of teenage drama. We had to make it through growing up.”

There's 4 Major, Terrible, Events that happen through out their lifes that makes them break apart... only to come back together again... only to be torn apart again...

Sweet First Love gradually turns into HATE ... and the 3 friends Grow apart... They all love each other, but can't seem to be able to stop from Hurting each other...

“The three of us really screwed things up, didn't we?”

Can they heal their hearts, amend their broken pieces and forgive their past mistakes?! Can they EVER fix their broken relationships?

“We’ll always be best friends. Forever and always, right?”

“You’re the only one for me. One day you will realize that”

---------------------------------------
For3ver was a Rollercoster of Events and Emotions...

There's such Terrible Events on this book... they're such Serious, Traumatic Things... there's 5 of them and I just think it's way too much for just one book... 2 or 3 of this major traumatic events well developed would have been enough, I think.

NOW... the Main reason I gave this book a 3.5 stars rating... the Characters!

I hated 2 of the 3 Main Characters ... I hated Ryley and Gage SO Much...

Ry is plain stupid and selfish... we get to see her POV so we can see she's not pure evil... but even so... her choices and the way she executes those choices... shows she does not care about how those choices will make the Porter brothers feel... at all! ... I absolutely hated Ryley... I blame her for most of what happens badly between the 3 friends... and I blame her for breaking Liam and Gage.

We don't get to see Gage's POV in the book... so he just comes across as a big, selfish JERK ... who's a bit angry and violent... I didn't like him and I didn't get him at all... some chapters in his POV might have helped me see him as something other than a jerk... but we didn't get any, so?!

Liam is the star of this book... he's a sweet romantic boy who loves Ry and wants to protect her... and then shit happens... and shit just keeps on happening... and he gets broken... and becomes a bit of an asshole... but, hey! I get him... I feel him and I'm totally suportive of the guy... he was the only character I was rotting for a happy ending... be it with Ry or someone else.

so if you're loking for a Sweet Childhood Friends to Lovers Love story... this ain't it! ... (You might want to try Missing Pieces)

This is a Deep and HURTFUL story of Childhood Friends who grow apart and come back together, and constantly hurt each other, while they try their hardest to heal and keep their Friendship throught it all...

It all started at the age of 6 when Ryley moved in next door to the Porter boy's Gage and Liam and their grand mother. The three of them became inseparable vowing to best friends forever.

At the young age of 8 Liam had realized what love was and he love his best friend Ryley Reynolds, and vowed to always protect her.

* Excerpt *

With the return of their uncaring mother and her abusive boyfriend the boys had to endure some pretty tragic events. Fearing for Ryley's safety. Liam had to put distance between them.

* Excerpt *

I cried like a baby throughout my journey with this read, but even at some of the worst times, I still was able to smile even though my heart was completely broken.

I can not praise these two authors enough who has come together and created such a exceptionally, beautifully well written story.
As much as this book made me cry and, crushed my heart on so many occasions, it left me deliriously happy.

✔The character development in this story is incredible.

I absolutely loved this story. I loved the originality, the characters, and the storyline. It was fascinating, intriguing and painfully beautiful. It has the potential to break your heart and then slowly put the pieces back together. This is one of those stories that I will not be forgetting anytime soon. It is not your typical romance story. It's a coming of age story. It's a story about a friendship that stood the test of time, a story of betrayal, forgiveness and a love that endured For3ver.

I especially liked how the characters were portrayed. I was invested in their lives from the moment I was introduced to them. Watching their experiences from childhood to adulthood was poignant. What I liked most was the fact that they were not perfect. Their actions at times made me angry and there were instances, it made me burst out in laughter and there were moments of sadness as a result. Although I did not agree with some of their actions, I understood why they made those choices.

The story was written from dual POVs, that of Liam and Ryley. This gave me the chance to see how the story unfolded through their eyes. I felt every emotion that they were experiencing. The painful, sorrowful and happy moments they both went through. My heart went out to them as a result. I would have loved to learn more about Gage. I wish I had the chance to see how the story developed through Gage's eyes as it would have helped me to better understand his motives. He came off as being selfish, especially when he made the choice to betray his brother. I never had the opportunity to learn why he made those choices. What was really going through his mind?

I adored Liam. He had a forgiving nature. His grandmother got it right when she said he was the romantic one. Despite all that he had been through he remained loyal to his brother and he never stopped loving Ryley.

I am sure most of know someone, be it friend or family who always make poor choices. Even, when the solution is staring them in the face they go and do the opposite. Well, that was Ryley for you. As a teenager, you would probably excuse her actions, but as an adult, I think not, but then as an adult, I have made some questionable choices. So how could I possibly judge her?

I thought the writing was beautiful and flowed effortlessly, the characters were vivid, and the story pulled me in from the very beginning.

If you love stories that are captivating, bittersweet, emotional, and has a happy ending, then look no further!

Favourite Quotes
I was eight when I figured out what being in love was like, I'm talking about a love of a girl that you know will change your whole life. I was eight when I realized I loved Ryley Reynolds.

That was what perfect was. I had finally found my forever, and she had been there the whole time.I just had to open my heart to find her.

Poor lil Ryley…she was a love struck fool for both of them!

I absolutely lo9ved watching them grow up together.

This has to be one of my fave reads of the year so far!
I absolutely loved this book! I haven't cried while reading in quite some time, and this book had me in tears on more than one occasion! (Tears of joy, and tears of sadness).

**Synopsis**

When it came to her lifelong friendship to the Porter boys, Ryley Reynolds knew one thing to be true: The 3 of them would be friends forever. Friends 'till the end.

When life got in the way of their plans, one decision changed the course of all of their lives.

Five years later, friends are brought back together, secrets are unveiled, and love is found again. Has too much damage been done to erase the past?

**18+ due to language and explicit material**

Liam and Gage are brothers, and they live next door to their best friend, Ryley Reynolds. Friends since the age of six, they are their for each other through thick and thin, forever and always.
As they grow older, life takes them down paths they didn't expect, but they still try to hold strong to their friendship. That is, until something happens that truly tests their relationship.

This book made me laugh out loud, rip my hair out in frustration, sit on the edge of my seat in suspense, and as I said earlier, it made me cry tears of both joy and sadness. It dealt with some pretty serious issues, and the raw emotion involved. I felt like I was on a roller coaster of feelings - but in a good way. I didn't want to put it down.

Rylee Reynolds and Liam and Gage Porter have been best friends forever; since Rylee was 6 years old. Rylee has loved Liam her entire life and Liam has loved Rylee. She knew even at 6 that there was no one else for her as he knew there was no one else for him. The book begins with the lives of these three best friends as children which makes this story even more amazing. When you get to experience characters lives its one thing but when you get to see their entire childhood and move into their adult life you instantly have a connection pulling you into the pages.
As the Porter boys and Rylee grow up there is loss, there is traumatic events involving them and their Gram; which they are being raised by. The boy’s mother is horrendous. Situations of abuse and betrayal intensify the story. There are tragic events along with joy. This is an incredible read. It is a standalone BUT there is another book coming based on another set of characters we get to briefly meet along the way. I have to say by the very enticing morsel these two give us at the end of For3ever.
This is a fantastic read ladies. I suggest you run over and one click.

Wow, there are so many ways this book could have gone, but that I didn't expect.

It hard for me to write this without giving any twists away, but I will tell you, this story is worth reading. It is not a simple love story. It's not an easy love story. It's a complicated, hard on your heart, did that really happen kind of story.

3 inseparable kids, friends, at the start of the book. Their friendship will have you smiling. But as the book progresses, cracks appear in the friendship. Kids grow up and sometimes they are forced too. Cracks become canyons, but hope is a bridge.

Liam and Gage Porter live next door to the wild, little girl who likes running in rain puddles. Liam became best friends with Ryley. She was everything to him. Gage played with them, though he was older. They were best friends, the three of them, always and forever. Until...they weren't.

Bad choices, harsh words, and lack of communication put these 3 in tailspin that was hard to get out of.

I loved the complexity of the mess they made. I know it sounds weird but it felt so real. The authors wrote a great story. I can only hope Jenny's will compare. Well perhaps, a bit less of a rollercoaster! Not sure my heart would be able to take it.

Ryley Reynolds has been best friends with Gage and Liam Porter since she was 6 years old. Her and Liam have been in love just as long. Can that love withstand betrayal, poor decisions and tragedy?
When I was first told about For3ver I admit I was a bit skeptical. I am not a love triangle person at all. I was assured that it "wasn't like that" and decided to take the plunge and holy crap am I glad did.
Things happen in this book and it's just so hard to put my feels about this book into words. This book is THE reason why I love to read. The authors take you on an amazing journey of three friends, an emotional journey of love, loss, friendship and second chances.
The characters are just incredible. The chemistry between all three of them was very believable and I felt for all of them. There were times I had tears just streaming down my face. There is one sex scene that was probably one of the best sexy times I have ever read. It was sweet and sexy and the emotions so overwhelming.
The writing in this book was just flawless. Definitely a top read of 2015! I give this 5+++ forever and always stars!

This story right from the start was beautiful. From the first chapter I was pulled in on wanting to know what was going to happen and every twist and turn kept me in edge.

Oh sweet Liam, well he wasn't as the story went in but seeing the sweet side of him first and what caused him to change was a huge benefit of this story! I loved him from start to finish.

Riley, I wasn't sure how I felt about her. I didn't like her at parts, and I hated her at times, but at the same time I loved her and just wanted to hug her.

There is apart in this story that broke me. I won't spoil it for other readers but my heart cried, and I mean ugly cried.

I really wish there had been more interaction for the first half of the book. Not that it made the book bad, I'm just a huge fan of dialogue. It was a lot of internal thinking and reflecting.

Overall this was a beautiful yet tragic at times love story that shows that just because it isn't always pretty, doesn't mean it isn't worth it. I loved this book and story so much. Yes it was hard to read, yes i wanted to yell and scream at the author, but the story she wrote, it was meant to rock us to the core. 5 stars #2OCCJD

A Terrific Emotional Ride
I really love this book, I was sucked into the story bright away with how the authors easily weave the story, the flow was just made to fall into. The characters are just so... Well great, they are real, and really easy to make that connection with. I mean we meet them in childhood and they are all just so sweet, three best friends forever Ryley, and brothers Liam and Gaige. I loved watching the first kiss between Ryley and Liam. If only things could stay sweet and innocent, but that's not the way life works. This book is definitely an emotional roller coaster ride. I ran the gambit of emotions of happy, and sad, and heart pounding in a good way, to heartbreaking in the worst way. I laughed and cried, and ugly cried throughout this story. There are a few other points I would love to touch on but don't want to leave any spoilers. I can't wait to read more from this awesome author duo. Just get the book! Read the book! You will love the book! I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book totally wrecked me. I was sobbing at critical points throughout it and the emotions I was feeling was nothing compared to what the characters were going through.

One girl, two brothers, best friends since they were very young. Feelings come into play very young and stay strong through their lives until they reach high school. These feelings become twisted, then comes heartbreak, then loss, then devastation, then nothing but pain until years later when these feelings rise again. Then more pain and devastation comes and they are once again thrown into turmoil.

Phew…I’m still emotional thinking about it. Just when you think things might be ok, you are hit with another devastating blow that brings you to your knees. This book was such a soul searching and heart breaking read for me. I have no words left…you need to experience it for yourself.

These 2 authors have done a truly amazing job and For3ever is well worth your time!
