Jinny Walter had always been the girl that never fit in. Not at home. Not at school. Not until the night she meets Elijah Prinz and Joel Levine and everything changes.
For eight years, friendship masked a longing no one knew how to unveil. Can Joel and Eli keep from losing the woman they love? Can Jinny finally tell them the truth? Or will their secrets rip the very ground out from beneath them and force them to face the possibility of losing each other forever?
This book is adult and intended for a mature audience. This book is a Love Letter Novella, a smutty bit of fun to brighten your day.
I just heard back from the author and we'll... 4 stars! Her exact words in the comments!

I read and enjoyed this one a few days ago. I found myself unable to completely get caught up in it because a question about Joel and Eli kept nagging me. I asked the author and once she gets back to me I will know whether this was a 2 or a 4.
Not really a spoiler but my question might be TMI for someone who hasn't read it yet.
This was a cute romance. Two Heroes Eli and Joel have been in love with the h Jinny since they saw her 8 years ago. Jinny is not a virgin (only had sex one time), but has been celibate since she's known Eli and Joel. I couldn't really tell from reading, but I believe both the Hs have been celibate since meeting the h and as far as I could tell, they weren't manwhores before meeting her. There were some funny parts in the book. Overall it's a pretty good read, if menages are what you're into then I recommend this.

I really enjoyed reading Laid Bare, but I wanted so much more, I had so many questions but understand that its a short story. I would so love to read more about these characters. Laid Bare is oh so hot, I mean two hot guys? to fall all over your every move, that's obsessed with you... Love Airicka Phoenix's writing style, each new story brings something more. This is def one book you have to read in 2016!
A great offering from Airicka, chronicling Jinny, Joel & Eli’s saunter from friends to lovers. The fact that it is also free on Amazon UK atm is an added bonus!
Really enjoyed this exceptional story about friendship and love . It definitely had its moments in both making me laugh and cry. Couldn't put it down and this book will definitely be put in a re read pile.
3.25-3.5 stars. This was an okay read for me. This is the story of Eli, Joel and Jinny. They are roommates and best friends who have known each other since college. Joel and Eli knew from the moment they met Jinny that they wanted to be in a menage relationship with her. Jinny also has had romantic feelings for the both of them. But none of them ever acted on their feelings until one night when they can no longer hold off. They have to figure out how to be in a relationship together as a threesome.
This book was a little far-fetched to me. I found it hard to believe that these three had been friends for 8 or 9 years (and roommates part of the time) and wanted to be in a romantic relationship but never acted on it. Instead they remained celibate, never dated and were just good friends with no real, concrete plans to make a move on each other. It took Jinny going out one night with her friend Sarah to a club where she could possibly meet someone before the men decided to let her know their feelings. I was skeptical of the 9 year long wait, but once they got together, I did enjoy their romance development. They were very worried and cautious about telling anyone about their menage relationship though. It was never really resolved what they were going to do, even with much discussion. I felt like the ending was pretty open (probably to make room for a sequel). They were in a relationship but were not positive they would ever tell anyone. I still liked the book though, despite the issues I had with it. I liked Joel, Jinny and Eli. The sexy times were hot. Overall, this was a short and sexy, easy read.
This book caught my attention from the very beginning because the main character Jinny just doesn’t fit in, and who hasn’t felt that way from time to time. But for Jinny to be wanted by not one but two of her best friends is more than a dream come true. I loved the characters and the rules they decided they needed but more than that I loved that the character chose love regardless of what others may say. If more people in the world chose love over what others thought of them then we would all get our happily ever after’s like Jinny. I thought this was novella was a little short as it was just for a bonus read but I could see this as a novel or possibly a series.
Oh man! Airicka pheonix's words in laid bare are pure gold! I've read a lot of m/f/m books but rarely do I find one told so well I wanted to take the female characters place!? Any woman who ever imagined being with two men needs to dive head first into this panty soaking read! While laid bare is only a novella, it a very satisfying story that will only intensify your fantasies and dreams! Each of the three main characters had a unique personality but shared the same feelings of longing for a very interesting kind of love. Laid Bare is an attention grabbing story, one that will make you want to read it all in one sitting! So clear your schedules ladies, get ready to meet Eli and Joel !
By now y'all should know that I love anything Phoenix writes. :) And if you are reading this review Airicka, I do hope you continue with this story sometime in the future. Add more to it.
This was the first book, of this sort of storyline and characters, that I have ever read. I was so anxious with how the three of them would work out. It kept me on the edge and I was sure at one point she was would either end up choosing one or have none at all. HAHAHHAHA
Overall short and sweet, and in terms of characters, am I the only one that thought Joel had more book/story presence? Don't get me wrong, I still think he's HOT. But Eli was it for me. I leaned more towards him.
This is what I love about Airicka Phoenix writing she gives you a great story with great sex. I generally don't ready MFM romances because they tend to always be more sex than story, but Airicka blends both together so magically that you are totally enveloped in this story.
JOEL AND ELI ARE DEFINITELY TWO MEN I COULD LOVE.....
Airicka Phoenix - you can certainly write woman!!! Once again, another book you have written that I DID NOT want to finish!!!! I loved it!!!!
Did you ever wonder what would happen if three roommates all desired each other, but never let each other know? Two men and one woman, who kept their secret silent until jealousy steps in the way - then the secret is no more.
Join Eli, Joel and Jinny in a friendship that goes beyond the limits of normalcy. Eli and Joel are best friends and have desired Jinny for eight years, since they first laid eyes on her. Jinny has always wondered what it would be like to be with both men, but has always been too afraid to ask. What ensues is a beautiful story of love, lust and friendship, full of laughter and tears.
I won't say any more as I do not want to spoil the story for readers. I will say that Airicka has taken to this genre as whe has with all the other genres that she writes in, with absolute perfection. She certainy knows how to draw in her reader and keep them right where she wants them, reading her books.
A girls desires come out to play in this short story. Let me start by saying this type of story is not my usual read, but I have absolutely loved everything I've read my Airicka Phoenix so when I saw the new release I had to snatch it up! Her characters always pull me in, & in this case it is hard to choose "the one" since Jinny is head over heels for both. I like that there is a good build up of story instead of jumping into the sex scenes & the story continues to build even after (& in between since there's much more to come throughout the pages). Quite honestly I thought this relationship may not move forward as Jinny desired after such a very long wait, but the heat jumped up several notches & refused to simmer down. While their tale is a short one it is a very nice intro intro into their world. I am curious to see how the relationship plays out with the whole threesome stigma adding secrecy to their already complicated lives. Family & friends & work will surely muss it up some, especially with that BFF who's just dying to fix her girl up. So many ways this could go, questions I need answers to, drama awaiting... This trio is one I will follow if Miz Phoenix decides to bring us more at a later date.
Reviewing on behalf of Relentless Book Chics Ramblings and Reviews
I really enjoyed this short story and it wasn’t what I was expecting at all.
Jinny Walter lives with 2 male flatmates who share a room. The only problem is, she wishes she was in there with them as she’s liked them as more than friends for years but hasn’t said a word. Eli and Joel have loved Jinny for the last 8 years but have never found the best way to tell her and now they’re tired of waiting so they decide to take action.
One night while Jinny is at a club with her best friend Sarah, Eli and Joel turn up to rescue her from all the male attention they have no doubt she’s getting. Now Jinny is definitely aware (it was so hot!) how they both feel about her, the question on everyone’s lips is how will it affect their friendship and will it break their perfect worlds apart?
It’s hard to write a review for this book without giving spoilers so I’ll just say this book is so hot! I highly recommend it and it definitely puts a smile on your face.
Laid Bare was a short and racy read. With room mates, best friends and Jinny. Eli and Joel have been best friends seemingly forever...and one day at college they both see a girl and know she's the one. Jinny loves Eli and Joel, has for years, but's always assumed they were gay as they never bring girls home. Once the secrets out there are no holds barred. The characters are on the funny side. When Eli and Joel are making their "rules to Jinny sharing"...that was funny. But really this is all about the racy. Unfortunately to get a higher star rating there needed to be a little more story line...or suspense...or something. Aside from the sexy, it fell flat for me. Perfect if you're looking for a quick "take me away from my norm" read. 3.5 Stars
This is the first book by Airicka Phoenix that I have read- but it certainly will not be the last. She is an amazing writer. This book was great! My only complaint- to short. I wanted more and hated to see it end. Jinny is a girl living with her two best friends- who happen to be male. They share a flat- but what goes on behind closed doors…. These three write their own rulebook- and that leads to some very hot times. This is a must read- and can’t wait to pick up the next Airicka Phoenix book.
All I have to say about this book is... I WANT MORE! OMFG is this hot as hell. If you like MFM then this book is for you!!! Jinny has been friends with Joel and Eli for the last 8 years. They are roommates as well. She's wanted them for a while, but they don't know. They have wanted her for a while and she doesn't either. One night of jealousy changes everything. This is a MUST READ!!!
Wow! I totally enjoyed this book the way their relationship started as friends and how long they waited to make everything perfect keep me wanting more. I also loved how real the sex scenes felt. I really hope there will be more books for this couple.
