Here’s the problem with myths and legends; they're fiction. At one time, they may have been stories of real people, but over time, the story was passed from person to person, so what was once fact, becomes the written fables of those long ago.
This is the true story of Death and the five horsemen.
Quitting her teaching career and working full time on her fledgling editing business, Julie Michaels isn't prepared for the shedload of changes heading her way. To be precise, it’s just one screeching stop on the crazy train away.
Dean "Death" Apocalos never imagined change would come so swiftly in the form of love, chaos, and Decay. Dean and his three brothers are about to see their worst fear come to light; their forgotten brother and the fifth horseman, Decay.
Previously entombed, someone has let the loon loose on LA. It’s now up to the horsemen to put him back in his box… before he upsets the balance once more.
I so couldn't wait for this book. Lucky me waiting for me is over, I got ARC copy. But I had to say the wait is so worth it. The story is full of adventure, humor, mystic and danger. I honestly advise for you not to eat and drink anything while you are reading it. You may choke. Because there is a lot of parts where you are brought to your tears laughing so much. So be warned. Lol.
Julie was quirky and sweet. I love when h takes those 'Holy fruit!' moments in stride.
Dean just run away with my heart. Thought sadly he don't want it. Lol All he needs is Julie. His mate. His jewel. I so enjoyed his possessive and growly side. It made my heart to flutter. Some of his monologue made me Lol, roll my eyes and snort. And fall for him so much more.
You will enjoy Dean and his brothers. They are entertaining, sexy and mythical. I loved all horseman. Yeah, I kinda even liked the crazy fifth one. Shocker I know. But there were those snippets that just grabbed me. You will get it when you read it. Honestly, I don't know which one I want in the next book. The charmer playboy or scowling, full of temper one. Don't get me wrong I loved Falcone and I want his story. But those playboys or brooding ones brought to their knees are one of the best stories. Seriously I can't wait for the next adventure no mater who's time to meet his mate.

Julie Michaels is just going about her day when an entity slaughters everyone but her on her train. Waking up she doesn't remember a thing, but finds herself under the protection of Apocalos Security. She finds out that the four brothers are actually the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, but their is a fifth a man who is looking to slaughter them all.
Dean "Death" Apocalos had thought he would never find his fated mate, but the instant he senses Julie he knows he has found her. Trying to convince Julie they belong together is not as easy as he hoped especially when he has to reveal who he really is.
An instant favorite. This was so unique that I was charmed immediately by the humor and characters in this story. I cannot wait until the next book, it is going to be highly entertaining. Not sure who was my favorite but have a soft spot for Connor.
This story was AWESOME... My first Paranormal book for a while and I loved it!
This book was entertaining, funny, sexy and totally mysterious. You will be hooked from the start of this book until the end. You will laugh, you will cry, you will be anxious and there is so much drama it will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Dean and his brothers are the 5 Horsemen of the apocalypse. WHAT!! Seriously!!! Yes Seriously! Dean (Death), Warren (War), Connor (Chaos), Falcone (Famine) and Kayne (Decay) But this is a bit different from the usual story you will hear. Dean was living his life like normal until it hit him. He has finally found his mate. The only problem is that it is a myth, right.
Dean and Julie had this connection that they didn't even know. Whatever she was feeling Dean would feel it. Julie didn't even know him, didn't know what she was missing until she saw him face to face. The only problem is she is in danger. So with all of this danger around her he has to convince Julie that they are Mates and that they will be together forever... Or will they?
This story will have you hooked. But don't worry when you finish it, because there are four more brothers. And each one will want you screaming for their story.
Awesome story and Awesomely written.
I don't even know who's story I want next! But I hope its coming soon!
The first in a series this sets the scene for a bigger plot than just one book can cover. We meet Dean(Death), Warren (War), Falcone (Famine)and Connor (Chaos) the four horsemen of the apocalypse who maintain the balance. Laying the foundations for what will I have no doubt be a five star series, Death is a humorous sassy read. Mates are foretold but long ago dismissed as something of myth yet suddenly Dean is experiencing a wealth of emotions that are totally new to him. Unable to resist the need to claim his woman this sudden development send the horsemen into a tail spin bringing hope and concern for the unknown to the group. The four of them have spent the span of humanity trying to keep the scales balanced ensuring the survival of humanity without ever having anything for themselves yet suddenly Death has found his other half to his soul. Does this mean they are about to face their biggest challenge? Hell yes as their fifth brother Decay has been set free from his tomb, and he wastes no time in causing chaos. The four horsemen must work quickly to recapture their brother who is a victim of his own powers before he can damage humanity too much...
Death is an easy read the pages seem to turn themselves and before I knew it I had finished. I was left wanting more and really hope I don't have too long to wait for the next book in this series. Dean is a man totally in love, he's open to the idea of his soul mate and wants desperately to make her happy even though they are knee deep in anarchy. He's a cutie and for Death he is totally swoon worthy ;) Julie handles the turn of events really well as she can't deny the way she feels or dismiss the events she has witnessed. She's a perfect match for Dean and although she takes a little time to get used to the idea of forever she soon embraces the crazy. Her friend Fallon, I believe there is something plot twisty coming out way with that one with hints hidden in the story, I hoping I am right and I was disappointed that she too was a fated mate...Her humour and wit gave the story an added edge and I hope we see much more of her in future. The brothers themselves are fabulous, each one is unique and has their own alpha male characteristics. The plot is well written; balanced with drama, romance and suspense. I'm really glad I read this as I was left smiling and a little in love with the horsemen why chose when you don't have to!
A four and a half star I want more read.
~*~ Obsessed by Books copy given in exchange for an honest review ~*~
I highly recommend this book I was drawn in right away and once started I could not put it down I cannot wait to find out what is next for these brothers and to find out what is Fallon's part because there has to be some important part up with Fallon and I can't wait to find out. Read the book and find the clue into what I'm saying...Again I recommend this book...Excited for more.
Julie just wants to enjoy her life. She finally has enough money to quit her day teaching snobbish teenagers and work at her own editing company. Her life takes a crazy turn when things that should only exist in her books come to life and she finds herself attracted to one of the men that has suddenly come into her life.
Dean and his brothers thought the legends of mates were just that so when he meets Julie and feels an instant connection he realizes things are about to change. When their brother Decay is released into the world they will be forced to once again fight him but this time he'll also be fighting to keep his new mate safe.
I've been a fan of Lila Rose and her books for years I love the sass she puts into her characters. Add in a great story and this time a paranormal element and you've got a winner.
I loved the reimagining of the four horsemen myth and the twists added into this one!

Death The Horseman Series 1 Lila Rose & Justine Littleton
I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him.
The four horsemen have always held a morbid fascination for me and this book takes this fascination to a whole new level.
We have an awesome cast of characters in the four horsemen:
Conor AKA Conquest the manwhore prankster.
Dean AKA Death the fun carefree one.
Warren AKA War the broody and angry one.
Falcone AKA Famine the quiet book nerd.
Then there is the fifth brother, the mistake, Kayne AKA Decay. The brother that had turned crazed, afflicted with his own gift of balance.
Their last name of Apocalos to me is a brilliant idea.
Warren runs the detective agency they all work for; and when there is a major train accident with a lone survivor Dean has a puzzling need to go against Warren’s orders and not go to the accident site. Dean’s ability to talk to, see and feel the dead is needed at the site but his need to go to the survivor’s is puzzling. For centuries they have heard the stories that they had a mate out there; but that was a centuries old tale they held no hope of coming true.
As the brothers search for the cause of the “accident” we experience some humor, paranormal activity, inventive tie ins to the story of the four horsemen and some great storytelling.
The book flowed well, had good character development and has me eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next book.
Death(dean),War(warren),famine(falcon),chaos (Conner) the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Though this book is the first in what is likely goin to be an incredible series laying out the foundation and leaving it open for books yet to come. Sometimes experiencing emotions that are completely new to you can throw even the strongest of people into a frenzy and when the four horsemen encounter the emotional response of one it throws them all into a tailspin bringing both concern for thing that remain unknown as well as hope. The four have fought to maintain balance for the survival of humanity and never having any for themselves while seemingly death has found the other half of his soul. Will they face the biggest challenge yet? Will a fifth brother be set free? Indeed Decay has been freed from his tomb and he's wasting no time bringing forth pure chaos. That's all I'll say for now want to know more??? Guess you'll have to read it for yourselves
As of late, paranormal hasn't been my go-to genre. When I read the blurb of this book though I decided to give it a try. I'm SO glad I did. Instantly I fell in love with Dean and his brothers (which seems odd considering they're the four horsemen, but read this and you'll fall in love with them too!) Of the brothers, Connor had some of the best lines ("Talk dirty to it") and Falcone seems like a big ole sweetheart the kind of guy you'd want as a friend. This book had everything I love about paranormal - a great storyline, action, detailed history, plot twists, and a good bit of humor thrown in. The way this was written reminds me of the paranormal style of Joss Whedon (one of my all-time faves) where a serious moment is suddenly made lighter by a sarcastic comment. In short, this book was awesome. It has flown up to the top of my faves of this year and I am recommending it to my husband and anyone else I know who enjoys reading!
Curly OMFG! I love laranormal books. All kinds of them. Shifter, vampires, demons bring them on. But this book....this book. Having the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in this light was a total surprise. Using the Horsemen in a erotic romance was brilliant. Loved Dean, Connor, Warren and Falcone. But my heart belongs to Julie and Dean this time. One question though: Can I have #2 by let's say tomorrow?
What a great, freaking story! Right from the very beginning this story grabbed me, and totally kept me engrossed in it. The writing was done so well, between the storyline, the characters, and the relationships, I just loved it all.
Please, please, Lila Rose, write the next books in this series really fast!!
I liked the premise of The Horsemen Series, and I looked forward to reading this book. In the end, it was a romance novel, which was disappointing to me. What a shame that the majority of the book was moaning, groaning, lip licking, and so on. If you like that kind of a book, then enjoy! There was a potential for a good story, but it was totally lost.
Omg wow. I've been a fan of Lila Roses books since I picked up her first MC book. This book has blown me away. It's so different from anything else I've read. It had me in from the very first page.
Loved this book!!! Dean (aka Death) and Julie, what a great story, the internal dialogue of both characters was great, Dean talking to himself was so funny. Really looking forward to reading Conner, Falcone and Warren's books.
So I had signed up for this because I was interested to see what Lila had in store for the Horsemen, being a Horsewoman, and a paranormal/supernatural fan it made me make room from my backlogged schedule, and I am glad I did, I have not heard of Justine Littleton, I have heard of the blog that she is admin for of course, but I had not realised that she is now wearing so many hats, seriously she made me feel tired just reading her Bio.
Anyway back to the book... I was hooked on the scenario that the two authors have chosen for their interpretation of the fable of the Horsemen, to me the horsemen have always been something I read about in bible class as a child and as an Image - the artistic interest because art has always been one of my passions I have seen the many interpretations and also one of my favourite illustrations of DEATH was Gustave Doré
This book is also very readable, I started reading and kept on till I finished, only putting it down when I really had to do something out the bookworld ( Dam having to do stuff in the real world, its so annoying when all you want to do is stay engrossed in a fictional world!)
I am already hooked on the '5' - yep there are FIVE HORSEMEN, in book 1 the authors introduce the foundations for the series and focus on the horseman Dean "Death" Apocalos, We get introduced to the Horsemen we are familiar with: WAR aka 'Warren' is the Oldest and the grumpy leader, FAMINE aka Falcon is the sensitive one, and CONQUEST aka Conner is the comedian/ladies man... and then there is the 'Forgotten' brother, in fact no 5 has a soft spot in my heart, I do hope that somehow his future changes! I try not to do spoiler reviews so I can't say too much as I feel that a reader needs to go into this story as I did, with no preconceived ideas ( I left what I had watched or read behind me and just read).
You won't be disappointed. the book is both full of wit and action and sassy girls who are not damsels in distress, but strong women with minds of their own. our Female MC for this book is Julie, a teacher who is finally about to start her dream business with her bestie Fallon.
The way we are introduced to where the supernatural stuff starts happening was gripping, I kept reading and flicking my kindle, thinking what the heck ooh this is getting good! ( my imagination is very vivid since I watch Sci-fi 90% of the time) - if I tried to pick a TV show which would describe this book I would choose my top fave show 'Supernatural' the snarky banter between the brothers was similar to Sam and Dean.
With collaborations between authors I am often found wondering how much input did each author give in the book, But given this is Justine's debut into the writing world I guess I will have to wait and see what type of book she will give us when she publishes her own individual work. I have read one of Lila's books and I have a few others on my Kindle from her MC genre on my TBR and I will have to try and bump them up a bit in between my current schedule. I will be waiting with baited breath for the next book in this series, for I didn't want to leave this fictional world.
One little niggle I had - and in the end it did not affect my rating - was the 'Product' and Author name dropping. I have no idea what PINK gym pants are ( other than that the colour!) I even googled it later on and I am still flummoxed, maybe its supposed to be PINK SODA but they didn't put the full word for copyright reasons, then there was the 'Author' Name dropping, it just seemed a bit unnecessary and it was only in one section (10% in) this was an ARC review so this may not be in the final edit, I hope not as it detracted from the great story I was reading.
OK how long do I have to wait before I can ride along with these Hunkalicious Horsemen Ladies!!!
I was super excited to get a chance to read this book. I knew it was going to be great. It had me wrapped up in it from the start. It was funny, a little bit suspenseful and had a whole lot of hot guys.... Well at least 4 of them. Lol This book is mainly based on Julie and Dean. It's a great first book to a series.
It starts off with Julie who is a a tutor of spoiled rich kids. She loves books and is opening up an editing company. She is a funny character. I found myself laughing at some of the things she would say. She lives outside the city in a little cottage where she feels to most protected and stress free. When she gets home it makes her feel all the tension go away. Until the accident and her whole world gets turned upside down. She gets in a train accident where she is the only survivor.
Then there's Fallon who is Julie's best friend who you will love. She was abandoned when she was little. The nuns had named her Fallon Devon Station. So when she was in trouble it always sounded like fallen devastation. She is funny, has no filter and is pretty kick ass. I feel like there will be more to her and that she was put in Julie's life for a reason. I feel like there will be a link to her and the horsemen.
The guys...... We first meet Dean who is Death. He has a gift of calling souls to help him fight and then he can pass them through to heaven or hell. Just depends on how they were when they were alive. When we first come across Dean he has this feeling of something coming and is not sure why he can't shake it. Come to find out there was an accident with one survivor and he just knows he has to get to her. He knows before he even sees her that she is meant for him.
Then there's Connor who is Conquest. He's is a ladies or men's man. More ladies though. As his brothers say he can charm the panties right off women. Of course he won't use it on them unless they are already very willing. He's a big flirt. You get to see him use his skill in this book a few times and I was impressed. Lol. I can't wait to read the book when he finds his love.
And Warren aka War is the tough brother of the group but you get to see a soft side to him here and there. I think there's still some getting to know him.
Next is Falcone aka famine. He is a book nerd that doesn't like to use his skill a lot. He seems to be someone that Julie also feels comfortable around. Which Dean doesn't like to much. There's still more to learn about him also. But you can see that he loves all his brothers and would do anything to make his brothers happy.
Last is Kanye aka Decay.... Which explains what Julie saw in the begin. Think Dementors and Voldemort from Harry Potter. All he wants to do is kill his brothers and take over. He seems like at times he is a monster but then there are times when the man he was before his body started to decay on him comes through. He's kinda scary with just a look he can make you flesh start to melt off and then he can make it come back. Maybe there will be hope for him and his brothers can save him from going bat shit crazy. We will have to continue to read to find out.
I loved this book and how different it is. As per the humour laced perfectly throughout is a fantastic touch to an already great story. The storyline is unique in itself but what makes it so special is the characters. It definitely flowed seamlessly and not once was I bored. I found myself glued to finding out what's going to happen next and where it will take me. You get to feel a little bit of everything in here but every emotion you do truly feel. I find myself sat here questioning what will happen to decay? I know he's the baddy but I so want him to be saved. From what little interaction we had from him I can't help but feel a attachment to his character like he needs to be saved from something other than himself. Obviously I thoroughly enjoyed Julie and her crackers commentary and inner dialogue. I loved the fact that she had her 5 minute freak out then just cracked on with it like it was the norm. Mostly though I love that she wants to save Kayne because honestly so do I. Dean is also loved by me but for different reasons. I love the alpha badass that he is but my gosh seeing him all sweet and insecure over Julie had me melting in a puddle. His protectiveness has me dramatically sighing and fanning myself and seriously his inner monologue is fucking hilarious also. Together they cracked me up! Seriously I was in stitches at them and there crazy antics... in fact they've all got these funny personalities that instantly draw you to loving them.. even cranky broody warren.
Yes I just loved it. I have a feeling that Justine Littleton will be another fast favourite author for the books. Her and Lila had the perfect blend, you can tell where Lila is through the book but It's also very clear that Justine had her own unique stamp on writting a story and I can't wait to see what else the future brings with her. xo
Was so excited when the ARC of this book arrived on my kindle and wow what a brilliant book. Who knew Death would be so hot!!
This story is full of myths, adventure, humour, action, passion, love and loyalty. Each of the characters are brilliantly written and so addictive and you will love them all, even the bad guys.
Julie was so feisty and quirky, I loved her expressions when trying not to swear. She goes through a truly horrific nightmare of which she was the only survivor, and most people would be traumatised and frightened but not Julie. She meets the brothers and instantly feels safe.
Death AKA Dean well he was simply hot, sexy, very alpha male. He's lived for centuries alone with his brothers, they were told they would find their mates but they lost hope. That is until he hears about the sole survivor on the train and he instantly knows he's found her.
The rages Dean went into with his brothers over Julie had me in stitches. His brothers were crazy, entertaining and hot, even their 'bad' fifth brother. Can't wait to see what happens when they meet their mates. Dean has a lot of revenge to get on them when that happens.
This book really sets the plot for what is going to happen in the rest of them, can't decide which brother I want to read about next. Warren (War), Connor (Chaos), Falcone (Famine) and Kayne (Decay). I can't wait to see how it unfolds with Kayne, you want to hate him but you just can't, he sneaks into your heart.
⭐️I was extremely lucky to receive an ARC copy of this book free from the Author and Hot Tree Promotions⭐️
Exciting, intense, and highly imaginative. The Horsemen of the Apocolypse retold in a way where I was glued to the pages. You have Dean (Death), Conner (Conquest), Warren (War), Falcone (Famine), and Kayne (Decay). All fantastically detailed characters in their own rights, the focus is on Dean (Death), and Julie, who gets swept into the story innocently. I loved the snark and inner dialog of Julie, she had me laughing continuously. The well written, multiple POV gives you a fully layered, unique re-telling with tons of spins that has your imagination running wild. You begin to find out the backstory, and devour the pages to find the answers.
Hysterically funny, wildly exciting, intensely hot, all wrapped in a package that delivers a great start to a series. I can't wait to find out more about the other brothers, and how the story progresses. My mind constantly was trying to figure out which brother I most liked, and they all have their unique attractions.
"Five minutes later and I was finally seeing why the horsemen were known so formidably throughout history. Four loud, beautiful motorcycles pulled into the lot. Their presence, powerful and consuming, demanded respect and allegiance."
The authors button it up enough to not leave you hanging, but leave the gate wide open to excitedly anticipate the next installment. Utterly hooked on the fantastic balance of paranormal, comedy, romance, and action that this book was filled with. Thank you to the authors for providing a copy to review.
Death is the first book in The Horsemen Series by Lila Rose ,and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing story. Instantly this story will have you falling for Dean and his brothers ,which is really odd seeing that their the 4 horsemen. Julie wants to enough her life and she's finally got enough money to quit her teaching job, when teenagers she teaches snobbish but now she that work at her editing company. But her crazy little life takes once crazy turn ,specially when things that should only exist in her books start to come to life. But Dean and his brothers only thought the mate legend was just that a legend. Until her meets sweet beautiful Julie and feels this instant connection to her ,but he soon realizes that things are about to start to change. But when Decay who is their brother is release into the world ,that means that once again their will be forced to fight him but this time he will be fighting to keep his mate safe. I've read a few of Lila Rose's books now and I really like the way she unleashes her sass into her great characters ,and it's so enjoyable how she weaves her plots which adds to the storyline. Lila Rose has given us a story filled with myths ,adventure, humor, action, passion, love, and loyalty .The brothers are crazy, entertaining, and really hot, even the bad brother is hot also. I must say that I can't wait until the other brothers get their mates. I could go on and tell you more about this story, but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this amazing story , you won't be disappointed.

This was so much better than I'd thought it was going to be. I enjoyed it very much. The storyline was unique and page turning, plus the characters were very colorful and funny as hell. I'm never crazy about the whole insta-love scenario but somehow with a Paranormal book, that scenario just fits.
Loved all four brothers, even crabby Warren. Dean was hilarious everytime he referred to himself as a woman because of his growing fascination with Julie. Speaking of which, Julie's character was so goofy, she made me laugh alot. Her lack of Cussing and substituting those cuss words had me dying, as I do the same thing, but only when I'm around my children.
Overall it was a very good read and I look forward to the next books in this series. Fours stars because while I enjoyed Fallon, the BFF, and her loyalty to Julie, she was annoying with her fake ass hardcore attitude. It's great that you're tough and know how to defend yourself but you don't have to go around cussing and acting like a jackass 24/7. That was Fallon, thinking all the cussing and nasty attitude made her look badass when in reality it made her look weak and foolish. Also, Julie is a giggler! I hate gigglers, especially if you're almost 30 years old but giggle like a damn child all the fucking time..that's just wrong and very unappealing. Here's hoping Fallon's attitude changes if her character is in the next book and Julie quits giggling!
Holy Cow, what an awesome book!! I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy for review and I couldn’t put it down. This is the first book in the series, and it really hooks you and makes you wish you could binge read the entire series. We meet the Five Horseman, yes, you read that right! Dean (Death), Warren (War), Connor (Chaos), Falcone (Famine), and Kayne (Decay). Kayne has been locked up for ages. He’s a victim of his own powers and completely unstable. But now, he’s been released and is causing strife wherever he goes. It’s up to the four siblings to get Kayne entombed again before he causes more damage. Julie meets Kayne on a train and for some reason she’s immune to his ability (you find out later on why). When the brother show up at her hospital room, they decide that she needs to be protected at all costs, and the decision is made to move her into their apartment. Protecting Julie has become Dean’s number one mission and he goes to great lengths to make sure that she is safe and secure. When that fails, he moves heaven and hell to get her back. This book is fast paced, full of action, and one heck of a steamy romance. I couldn’t put the book down and am impatiently waiting for the next one. The writing is absolutely amazing and the characters are wonderfully thought out and complex. Definitely worth a read!!
This is the first book in The Horsemen Series. They are brothers, but they are also the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. We have Warren (War), Dean (Death), Connor (Chaos), and Falcone (Famine). But did you know that there is a fifth brother/Horsemen? That Horsemen is Kayne, or Decay, and he is nuts. This series does have a continuing story line, even though each book will be about a different Horsemen.
This book had me laughing out loud so many times that my husband and daughter thought I was finally losing it completely.
I loved the Harry Potter references.
Julie also had me cracking up with her use of non-cuss words.
I love her and Dean.
Can’t forget about Fallon, Julies best friend, either. They are basically opposites, but complement each other perfectly. I know there is a story that has to do with Fallon, there has to be! I don’t think as a mate, but there is a secret there and I do have my ideas. I’m going to keep quiet about that though. Sorry, Not Sorry.
I am excited to see how the other books go and how everything with Kayne will end. I can’t wait for the next book!
The power that Dean/Death has is pretty awesome also!
This book was really good, funny and kept in suspense form page 1 to the last. Dean aka Death f Is one of the four horsemen.. Let tell you he is funny, set and alpha male to the tee. It starts off withJule going home on the train, she is a teacher and editor, we'll I'm not going to tell you wha that happens cause you have to read but it's a spin on the four horsemen and the one woman who is meant for each of them but this one only book 1 Death.. OK OK so, Julie is an only survivor on the train after what happens, she is hilarious, she doesn't cuss but boy she is funny, and her BFF Fallon is tough as nails, but sweet in her own way, there you also meet the three brothers, Warren aka War, Connor aka Conquest, Falcone aka Famine, and get this the bad villain is no other the fifth brother we didn't know about Kanye aka Decay, ewww even his name give jeepers creeper vibe, but really it was awesome strong wish it a little longer but it was great and can't wait for the other browsers to fine their mates so Dean can have his fun too in annoying them ad they did to him.. You guys really need to read this ASAP really you won't regret it.
W O W. This story blew me away! These two authors have combined together to become a force to be reckoned with. The storyline was incredible and had me hooked from the start. I stayed up most of the night just to finish, because once I started there was no way I was putting it down. Talk about an alpha male! Dean is swoon-worthy. I love the whole “mate connection”. These characters are all very well developed and complex. The detail and description was incredible. The twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat, dying to know what happens. All of these brothers have completely different personalities, and will keep you very entertained. There were scenes that had me rolling in laughter, while others had me feeling all the “feels”. I highly recommend this book to everyone! You will not be sorry when you dive head first into this story and get as addicted as I did! Highly anticipating the next book!
I received a copy in return for an honest review. What do you do when you find out your a mate to one of The Four Horsemen and they in fact have a little known brother who is as loony as they come and on the loose. Well in this first book of a brand new series, you find that out, there is mayhem, chaos and a love worth waiting an eternity for, even though brother dearest throws a few spanners in the works. I love Lila Rose's books, especially her MC books and when I saw that she had a new book releasing and it was in a new series I couldn't resist, I just had to put my hand up. Add in that she has collaborated with Justine Littleton and I knew this was going to be one hell of a gem to read, I was right. All I can say is bring on book 2 because it will be just as awesome if not even better than Death and I cannot wait.
