"Anyone who hurts you. Anyone who touches you. Anyone who makes you scared. Anyone who makes you cry. I'll rip out their hearts, break their bones, and drown in their fucking blood to keep you safe."

"I'm here. Brothers, save me."After being left to die, Holt has denounced his club and given up on everyone and everything. The only thing he wants and needs is to escape his prison cell so that he can recover and seek revenge. He is out for blood. But first, he needs to survive.
"You're gonna come with me."Naiya grew up in the Black Jack MC. The daughter of a club whore (and junkie), she spent her childhood exposed to abuse and brutality at the hands of the bad bikers. After successfully escaping the life, she has made a good life for herself away from the MC life. However, when she returns home for some family business, she is taken by the Jacks and thrown back into hell.

"The two of you are like goddamned Bonne and Clyde."Holt and Naiya find themselves at the mercy of the Jacks. Holt is so badly injured that he can barely walk and yet, together, they are able to formulate a plan of escape. After running from the Jacks, Naiya enlists the help of her friends to help mend Holt. Still on the run from the Jacks, Holt must find a way to seek out revenge. The only thing on his mind is to make his brothers pay for abandoning him and to kill every Jack for the pain and torture they have caused him. As Naiya and Holt begin to grow closer together they share a tender bond of friendship that quickly develops into so much more. Holt is ferociously protective of Naiya. But is Naiya prepared to put aside her past and embrace the love of a biker? Is Holt able to set aside his hatred and forgive his brothers?
"He filled her completely, perfectly, like they were one person and not two."

“She felt right beside him. Perfect. Broken. Just like him.”
“I got a lot of anger in me,” he said softly. “Always have, although nothing like I got now. Sometimes I’m afraid it will consume me. But when I’m with you, it … just … fades. I’ll never hurt you. Never push you farther than you want to go. You’re safe with me. You got my word on that.”
“I need you,” he said. “You’re mine, and I’m not going to let you go. Whatever I have to do, whatever it takes, however long … If you can’t live the biker life after I’m done with Viper, then I won’t live it. But you can’t leave me. I am nothing, Naiya, if I don’t have you.”
“The new Holt was demanding and controlling. Impatient. Serious. So far removed from the self he knew, he would be lost without Naiya to anchor him to the ground. He needed her now. Needed to claim her, body and soul.”
“I love that you’re mine , that you know the worst of me and still want my touch, that you know me as I am now, that I wake from my nightmares and find myself in your arms. I’m gonna make sure you’re safe and happy and able to live that normal life you dreamed about.”
“She tried to commit him to memory, the warmth of his lips, the deep rumble when he looped an arm around her waist and pulled her against him. She wanted him. Needed him. She’d made it through hell, and he was her piece of heaven...She had never felt as complete as she did at this moment; never felt she really belonged until she’d stepped into the circle of his arms.”

“I have a feeling even if I did leave, you’d follow me.”
“To the ends of the earth.”

Revenge. It’s the only reason I survived as long as I did. It’s what I lived for. It’s all I want.
Naiya was full of secrets. Painful secrets. Beautiful Secrets.
He’d forgotten about the beautiful things in life. Soft things. Gentle things. Sights and sounds. Tastes and touches. She was all of them wrapped up in one sweet package.
“…lie beside me and let me hold you and we’ll hurt together.”
He had been through hell and survived, and his reward had come in the form of a woman who could bend but not break, challenge but not conform, submit but not surrender. Niaya was his. Totally, utterly, and irrevocably. And he would never let her go.
