Overall this was a good study for our small group. Some chapters may not have been pertinent to all members but I think we all got something out of them anyway.

I thought that the bible verses that were used were good but would have liked it better if more were included instead of a single verse. Sometimes the meaning was missed because of this.

There was a lot of repetition with some of the topics to the point where it got a bit annoying. At times the author was pushing some of this info to the point where some wanted to push back.

Our group did a chapter each week and that worked well for us. I believe we all walked away with a better understanding of the scriptures and how to apply them to our lives.

The thing that stuck with me the most from the lessons was the importance of starting the day in God's word. It really can make a huge difference in our attitude and reminds us to allow God to control our lives instead of trying to do it on our own.

I had picked this up at a second-hand bookstore and was not aware that this was a companion to the book of the same title. Nonetheless, I was able to receive so much biblical insights into various aspects of my life as Elizabeth George's always do. This book focuses on the areas of life were women tend to be the most busy, such as their home life, ministry, and relationships with family and friends. George uses Bible passages relevant to the lesson's topic as well as has readers brainstorm ways they can better manage these areas of their personal lives. A great book for individual or group study.
