I came across The Patch Man and was surprised by how quickly it pulled me in. Adam Heine delivers a sharp, atmospheric short story that feels vivid and full of life despite its length. The world building is tight, the characters are memorable, and the pacing keeps you turning each page with curiosity. It is a well crafted piece of fantasy fiction that I genuinely enjoyed and would happily recommend.

I know nothing about this world, but this story was funny, engrossing, and a fun read. I'll have to check out the rest of the stories in this world!
