Im so lost right now at how to rate this book. I gave it 4 stars but I really see it as a 3-5 star rating….
Ok so im giving it 5 stars because…well its Blake and Elena…
Ya that’s it, that’s the only reason. I missed them so much. They were both such amazing characters and when I saw that this book was about them I just had to read it.

Ok so on to why I hate this book.
I truly believe that this book should not have been written. This book is basically Elena and Blakes ‘what if’ book. What if they actually grew up together? Would their lives be the same?
Ok so the dragonian series were such great books! You learned that life is messy and things are gonna happen that will make you feel empty but it can be overcome with time. Blake and Elena were who they were because of the hardships they faced and they were amazing characters. It should have been left at that!
Queen Catherine- I hate her. I hate her. I hate her.

She was absolutely ridiculous…the reason she did the things she did was so stupid! It made me really dislike her that she would act like that. The previous books talked about her grace and kindness and how great she is and blah blah blah. I saw none of that. She was no longer the person she used to be and it made me mad that she let her worries consume her for no reason…or I should say for selfish reasons.
Blake-will always love him no matter what but…..

I was so disappointed that his character lacked the depth I got from the previous books. His struggles in this book just didn’t seem that bad compared to what he had been through before but I guess that was the point.

Elena- I liked the old Elena better

O well

2 stars - Note: Although this is a standalone, without reading the Dragonian series first, you won't really get attached to these characters and things they do will be less forgivable as a reader because you aren't as invested in them. This book had the potential to be a 4 star read for me and if it wasn't for the unnecessary drama in the end, I probably could have overlooked some of the more annoying aspects of the book.

SPOILERS AHEAD

The most bothersome things about this book are:

1. How selfish the heroine is. No good mother would risk traveling to an alternate timeline without knowing their child would still be in it. The heroine is rather unconcerned and only cares about how she could have grown up with a mother. In real life, no respectable mother would sacrifice their child for anything. Additionally, the grieving for the subsequent loss of said child is practically non-existent.

2. The hero falls in love with someone else. The audience doesn't want to read about the MC's love affair with someone else. It's okay to have him date other people before they figure out their feelings for each other, but love, no. Their love is supposed to be the greatest in history. That's a lot less believable when he's already fallen in love with someone else.

3. The hero cheats on the heroine in the alternate timeline after they've already slept together and exchanged, "I love you's." I get that the author was trying to get the reader to see his dark side come out, but she should have come up with some other way to do this. She basically cheapened the idea of them being destined for one another and again, having "The greatest love story in history." It also really downplays the whole denting process that's supposed to be such a big deal because they reference the process having started but not being totally complete (until she ascends and claims him as her dragon.) But either way, if it's supposed to be this rare, amazing thing, the hero wouldn't have wanted to be with anyone else. Oh and the fact that the author basically equates the heros cheating to, "Oh, sorry, I was high and didn't know what I was doing. My bad for sleeping with my ex. You weren't here for me and I was stressed." just completely pisses me off. How is his behavior any different than a regular crap bag addict cheating on someone when they're under the influence of some substance? What an unfortunate way to completely ruin a good story. If it wasn't for this in particular, I probably could have even accepted bullets 1 and 2 and given the book 3-4 stars but this by itself ruined the entire story for me.

This was kind of pointless from the main series narrative, but I did really enjoy it. I liked seeing this alternate story of Elena and Blake. I loved seeing all of the old characters in these new lights. Especially King Albert, he shines as always--I love this man so much. Katie was a bit hard to like at times. She was extremely overprotective of Elena and it made her do outrageous things which harmed their relationship.

While I did enjoy this story, Elena was super young throughout the whole thing and I wish we had gotten more of the "after" phase. I wish we could've seen her when she was older. I wanted to see more of the "merged" memory Elena and what she did. The events in the beginning of this were never really explained either which was strange.

Overall, good fluff but I miss the adventure of the original series.

I wanted to love this one because The Dragonian Series was such a great story! I was so excited to be back in the world of Paegeia! Sadly, I did not get the same feeling as I had with the first series. I didn't get the world building and character development that I fell in love with in The Dragonian Series. What I got was a "what if" type of story and alternate reality. It was a little confusing and full of too much teenage drama. It had enough going for it for me to rate it with 3 stars (or faeries), and I will be reading the next book. But I wish it had left out the character changes, the teen angst, and the story discrepancies, and had just brought me back to Paegeia and Blake and Elena's story.

Mild warning for language and sexual content.

I still love the series but this one had a few ticks for me that made it less than perfect. The whole thing with their daughter for one. Katie was so different than what I ever expected. And not in a good way. What a control-freak mother! UGH she infuriated me at every turn!! Yet through it all this book still holds the emotional upheaval abilities of the past book. I almost cried. I laughed. Yep Adrienne Woods is very good at that. There were parts I could not sit still and others I felt were a bit too slow. Still, I immensely enjoyed!

This book is what Elena's life would have been like being raised by her mom and dad. How much easier it would have been, how normal her life could have been, the normal struggles. I loved how Catherine was with her and her personal struggles as her mom.

Moonbeams
As Elena is dying. Blake pays Elena a visit and informs her she has one more day. He arms her to tell Theo what he has to do. If she doesn’t his future will be at stake. He tells her mom has been organizing everything and Silo is waiting for her (and understands). Elena starts to think back on some significant events. She thins of the night he proposed and their wedding day. (Becky has married George. Sam still isn’t over Dean at this point). After this they live in Elena’s father’s castle. Elena thinks about how she broke the news to Blake that she was pregnant over a special dinner. Then she thinks of the birth of her daughter Silo.

During a dragon type lacrosse game, Elena and Blake are flying when a bright light appears and they fly through it. Everything goes silent and the stars seem wrong. Elena sees war on Mount Lakeway and then she’s hit by poisioned arrow that turns out came from Queen Catherine. When Elena recovers from an antidote of Louie berries and finds out they time travled 200 years into the past, she wants Blake to go back and save her mother from Goran. Blake says NO! He’s against tampering with the past. Elena’s father agrees. Constance tho says she’d give up what she has if she knew it would make everyone safe.

Blake’s biggest fear is that Silo won’t be born. At first, Becky is on Blake’s side but then Elena is able to convince her when she wonders if this will change things for Sam. Maybe she’ll even find her dent. Possibly it could even save Dean. George has already had visions of a different life. One that’s better. And has tried to persuade Blake. Future Blake comes to Present Blake and tells him he has to go back and make things better. If he doesn’t Silho will kill Elena. There’s darkness in her and she was never ment to be born. A mysterious blond girl named Morgana visits Elena briefly and tells her she doesn’t know her yet but she will.

When in Tith, Elena and Blake meet Elena’s great great great grandfather William Malone and offer him a way to solve all his Quito problems. Malone tho won’t see it his way and would rather kill Quito than train him. Blake ends up getting chased by Quito and knocks him out. But Blake is then hit by an arrow. Blake is able to pull the arrow out and he and Elena escape into the bright light. After Elena removes the shaft and Blake has recovered they find themselves in the 23st century on a private golf course with Emmanuel, Elena’s father, Sir Robert, King Helmet, and Goran. They introduce themselves as Morica and Cooper and they’ve come from the North side of Elm, Blake confesses their on the run because he’s a Rubicon (too which Sir Robert draws his golf club). They’re all astonished. Blake covers them and makes them invisible. It’s the right time line. Sir Robert already has a son whose a Rubicon. Elena’s father is curious about them and tells Blake to drop his shield. He questions his abiliites. Sir Robert tho doesn’t like it. There can’t be two Rubicons in the same time line.

Blake tries to reassure then that he’s not dark. He says he knows about Sir Robert’s son and that’s the reason why they are there. To show them they aren’t a threat. Goran says he thinks they can be trusted, but Elena knows he wants to claim him. They’re invited to the castle. The next day at breakfast, Blake finds out from a newspaper they have three days before the betrayal. Elena’s mom appears briefly but refuses to join them for breakfast. He says she lost her dragon. When alone, Blake mentions a conversation he previously heard between Elena’s father and Goran about the Wyborns and tries to warn him Elena tells him about the Wyborns abilities. Elena sees a younger 4 year old Lucian with his mother and father (Queen Margaret and King Helmet). When she leaves, they talk about the meeting with “The Rouge” that Goran tells them he’s going to meet (which is really him).

Elen pretends to have a vision and gives Queen Margaret not to trust Wyborns. They get Albert alone once again and tell him they know about his daughter and they know who will betray him. Then they tell him, but he’s in disbelief. He tellks them to leave him although Elena wants to tell him how. (They have also told him they can see into the future). After leaving the room, they decide it’s best they leave the catle Just as a hearing is called, Elena shows Blake a secret entrance and they slip out. As they hide, they hear Albert talking to Helmet and saying there’s been treason and he was right. Two Rubicons can’t exit at the same time. Elena realizes she dreamt of this eight years ago.

Using a secret passage, Elena decides if her father won’t listen she’ll go to her mother (even though she’s been forbidden being seen by Albert). The Queen holds a knife to Elena’s throat and demands to know how she knows that name. Elena tells her her dragon is a Rubicon and they can see into the future. Elena tells her about Goran, but she doesn’t believe it. Elena even gives her details of how it will happen (she’ll be tied to the bed and burned). She tells her she needs to kill him or Elena will grow up without her. Then she tells her about the life Elena will have on the run all the time from dragons. The Queen says Goran wouldn’t do that because he loves her and Elena tells her it’s why he’ll do it (and finds herself disappointed because her mother isn’t the strong woman she believed her to be). She tells her Jako will die before telling her and she won’t know anything about Pagia. Her mom wants to know how she knows and then she reveals who she is.

The Queen says she’s not her daughter and orders her out. Elena tells her look for herself. Then the diguises start to melt. She finally sees it and embraces Eleana. Catherine leads them out a secret passage inside her wall. After they leave, with a dagger inside the sleever of her robe she heads to Goran’s tower to seduce him and stab him in the heart. Only when she attempts it, he puts it off until tomorrow because there’s something he needs to do. The next morning at breakfast, Catherine stabs Goran, he disintegrates into dust, and she’s thrown into the dungeon. Sophia visits Catherine and tells her she could be executed. She says that’s fine and sends for Albert. He takes his time about coming but when he does she tells her there’s a Wyborn militia waitng for them on the North side of the wall and if she’s lying he can have her exectured.

Catherine is freed by Robert and afterwards goes to help all the villagers who’ve gathered at the castle. Albert was injured but he’ll survive. Catherine and Al confess to everyone that when they told them the Queen went on a mission with Tanya she didn’t. She’d given birth to a daughter and took her away to protect her because they’d been told someone they loved would betray then. Now they can bring her home. The Queen reveals to Al, Isabelle, and Robert who the strangers really were. Al after this says he will heed the warnings about Wyborns. Tanya and Jako reunite Elena with her parents and Elena meets Blake as a young dragon for the first time (at one years old).

After this it talks about how Elena had to get use to Catherine and Albert (and go to them instead of Tanya and Jacko). It talks about how at 3 she defended Sammy from Blake and they grew closer and closer after that. It talks about how at 9 Blake still didn’t have his human form and was constantly experimented on. Blake finally does get his human form and after calming Elena down and convincing her its him (her dragon) Catherine realizes how intense their bond is getting (and doesn’t like it). She hasn’t been blind to it up until this point, but Al tells her it’s innocent.
When Elena is 12 and Blake is 16, Blake starts his first year at Dragonia with Annie. Lucian will start next year. Blake admits sometimes he feels the darkness. He and Elena have a fight because she makes him promise to keep singing in his band. He’s not happy she let Phoebe listen to one of his songs. She also makes him promise to write. Catherine gets even more protective and jealous of the bond between her and Blake. On her 13th birthday, Elena notices her mother playing the piano. She only does this when she’s in a melancholy mood. Her father says she’s growing up and one day he’ll tell her the story of what her mother did for her. Her mother tells her she’s worried about her and Blake but Elena just brushes it off (seeing Blake as a brother). Blke shows up at the party and ends up confessing to Elena that for a year no one knew of her existance. She finds out she lived for a year outside the wall and wonders how this is possible. She goes to her parents and asks them are they her real paretns.

Her parents tell her about having to send her away and then that she was sick so they gave her the Calyso potion. Tanya had a child named Cara that gave up her life for her, but Cara was a dragon. This meant Cara’s human form would be Elena. Because Cara was a Thunder Light (the last of her kind) Elena feels guilty. When talking to Blake, Elena wonders if she’s still inside her. At first Catherine is pissed at Blake, but after a while she starts to feel guilty from keeping the truth from her. Tests are run to see if Elena has a dragon inside her. Nightshades (Leo) are called in. Nothing is found. Blake goes back to school. He’s communication gets less and less.

At Christmas, Blake finds out Elena is attracted to a boy named Lee. When they exchange presents, he gives her a bracelet made from his skin. She gives him a journal that only the pink kiss can open. Blake writes Elena that he meet someone (Tabitha). This breaks Elena’s heart and it doesn’t make Catherine as happy as she thought it would. In his next letter Blake says he invited “The Ice Queen” to Elena’s 14rh birthday party. Blake arrives late. Elena notices Tabitha has a challenge in her eyes. Blake OF COURSE is clueless about Elena’s feelings because she said it was ok to bring her. Elena (as instructed by her mom) pretends the while thing is fine. Blake tho DOES notice the change in the Queen and Elena. Elena avoids Blake in the bathroom until Catherine gives her a talk. At the end of the evening, Tabitha gets too drunk and has to go home. Blake apologizes because he didn’t get her a present (thinking this is why she’s been short with him). He promises Elena that he and Tabitha won’t come between him and her. Elena tries to kiss Blake but he pulls back. She rushes into the castle embarrassed.

Blake sends Elena a letter later that night that what she did and that he doesn’t feel that way about her. Catherine finds the letter and compels all the crows to send his letters to her. . Albert catches her and scolds her. but Catherine says she’ll deal with the consequences. Five months go by. She starts to date (Lee Evers). Blake’s darkness comes out more and more. Catherine’s guilt starts to mess with her. She knows that over Christmas Blake and Elena will talk and find out what she did. Luckily, Elena asks if she can spend Christmas at Lee’s. Because Eleana’s been distant with him and she’s not there when he shows up (with the intention of telling herhe’s had to resorts to using fire cane. Eleona’s 15th birthday comes around. Everyone gets an invitation but Blake so he plans to go spend the summer with Tabitha. Lucian admits at the party that Blake has turned into an asshole and he hasn’t spoken to him in a year.

. Plugs (Elena’s monkey from Blake) ends up dead by the hands of a Wyborn after going missing for a month. Blake starts a search but gets doped up and lets it slide. Catherine sees how close Lucian and Elena are getting after sparing. Elena tries to kiss Lucian and he pushes her away because of Blake. She ends up telling him about the kiss and Blake not answering her letters. Lurican tells Blake and he tries to write to her about Mr. Plugs but he gets no response. For her 16th bday, Elena gets a tattoo of the Rubicon on her shoulder. She decides to send Blake an invite. Blake doesn’t get it and decides not to go. Lucian and Elena find out that neither she or his letters are getting delivered to each other. So, they try to call Blake only he doesn’t answer. Catherine arranges for the Shifters to show up at the party and is shocked to realize how hot Elena’s gotten. Blake and Elena make up when she realizes who the singer is and she walks away from Lee (who cheated and is now pleading that he loves her_/ That night, Elena loses her virginity. The next day when Elema goes to the Leafs. Tabitha is there Blake calls it it off with her after Elena tells him she’s leaving for more training. Because of a phone message from Tabitha, Catherine finds Elena and Blake in the tree house. It turns into a fight, Catherine says she’s going to training, and she’s not going to Dragonia.

Blake quickly asks her what happened to the crows and points out her gifts of using compulsion on animals. Elena conftonts her mom and then runs off. The next morning, Elena finds all the letters on her bed. Al puts his foot down and puts Katie in her place. After three weeks, Elena returns and her father tells her she’ll be going to Dragonia. Blake gets distant again. When Elena arrives at school, she finds Tabitha in Blake’s bed. Blake tho receives his claim date. Blake corners Elena and confesses to her he’s using fire cane. Elena says she doesn’t even want to claim him anymore. He choose drugs over her. Now all she can do is claim him and set him free. He tells her she’s just like her mother and a brat. Elena throws a plate at him and calls him an ass hole. Blake morphs into his dragon form. Elena gets shoverd backwards and then she sees her father. He tells her she has to claim him. She’s ascending.

After Al tells her the whole story, Elena uses her abilities to claim Blake. Elena wakes up in confusion and thinks she convinced her mother to kill Gorn. Her father is there and says she claimed her dragon. In three days she awakes with the 26 year old Eleana’s memories up to going into the bream, but she’s 16. Only she has the twenty three year olds memories and not the sixteen year olds.

My Thoughts
This was actually a lot better than most of the books I read in the series. It was certainly a lot EASIER to read. I guess because the plot didn’t revolve around Blake and Elena’s on and off again relationship. There *was* the drama of them having a missed communication and both of them being to blind to see that they were made for each other but a big part of it also was turning things back and setting things right. I can’t say that I liked the addition of Catherine. This lady was INSANE! I tried to look at it from her POV. If I had a daughter I probably wouldn’t want her to grow up either but she went WAY too far! She was jealous of every male in Elena’s life. I’m kinda surprised she wasn’t jealous of her relationship with Albert. Everything was good until the end. I got confused when I got to the last chapter and had to read it twice. Then I understood the two different ones merged, but the 16 year old’s memories weren’t there. This really was better than I expected it to be.

Guys don't get me wrong, I am a massive fan of the original series but honestly this book just confused the hell out of me.

I was skeptical when Blake and Elenas new power came to light but I kept on reading and thought that it could have worked really well buuut it didn't.
I get the whole idea of what if and all that but not only did it feel as though the characters were picked up and thrown into some weird teen reality show or a fan fiction but it also made me despise characters that I previously loved.
All of the characters became flat and it didn't even feel like I was reading about the same people.

But , the storyline getting better ,even though there are things i didn't like .
Hopefully , the next one is way better.

DNF. None of the books in this series are exceptional or even very well written, but what works is that they’re from the perspective of a teen girl. This book is supposed to be from an adult (and leadership!) perspective but within the first few chapters it’s already a hot mess of cliches, redundant phrasing, and full-on ableist language. Yuck-o!

A big thank you to Adrienne to write this book.
Yes I loved it.
Wanna know the reason why? It gave a chance to see all the characters that died in the series, alive.
This story was a happy story, which is exactly what we needed.

I was so emotionally attached to the whole series, and this book just gave a dose of coming back to reality.
So what was in the story that made me like it?

SPOILERS ALERT

The book starts with 1 millenium year later. Where blake is now dead and elene is soon going to die.
Just when she is one day from dying blake visits her.
And ask her to remember, that something needs to be done.

I didn't get what he was trying to say, qhich Iam sure a lot of people couldn't understand either.
So I just trusted the author and continued reading the book.
Then I got to know that blake can time travel. Thus elena decides to change the past. To prevent the deaths of all the loved ones she lost in the etan war.
And I don't think this is sepfish of elena

Trying to Save live one's is selfish?
Anyways blake and elena get a visit from the future blake. Who asks them to change the past. Because if they don't do it, then sinho will also kill elena.
Thus in the end blake and elena go to the past.
And change the past by informing of the treachery before the attack to the queen.
Thus etan mever gets trapped under creepers.
And happy Beginning occurs.
The day elena claim blake, their past memories return , the one which was in the original series.
And here the story of this book ends.
In the end we get to know that the guy who visited from future was actually theo and not blake.
Thus the question remains qhich is the reality?

In the end it is a good book.
And if you have been emotionally attached to the series like Iam, then you can't end this series without reading this book.

A great and magical paegia awaits you

I greatly enjoyed the Dragonian series and was super excited when another series was releasing based off of that series, however, I was extremely disappointed with this novel. I did not want to go back in time and change the whole story. I felt that Elena was extremely self-centered and childish. She was talking about how she couldn't be happier and how life was grand but then jumped on the first chance she had to change history, even though Blake was completely against it (for much better reasons than hers). The Dragonian series made her who she was, that is where we fell in love with the characters. I did not see the need to erase everything and basically start over. Plus then the author has Blake getting high and cheating on Elena after they were together (which occurred while he was still technically with Tabitha)? Did you want us to hate him?! I thought that was WAY worse than anything he did in the previous series. Also, where was all the being upset when they got back to their now changed reality for Elena knowing that she got what she wanted but lost her daughter in the process? She was like "Silho was the sacrifice" and literally ran excitedly to hug the next person? Her biggest worry was she would have to be like her mother and give up her baby, yet that's exactly what she ended up doing in the end! The author could have continued the story with the introduction of the next Rubicon instead of changing what was already a wonderful series. I was not impressed, and will not be continuing with this new series. Also, I fail to see how this author could still have so many grammatical mistakes (which are the same throughout each of her novels) after 7 published works. That also baffles me. Sadly disappointed.

So Ok I do love the story of Elena and Blake, and I was intrigued reading about an alternate reality of what could have been however - spoilers ahead- There is something really jarring about Elena be ok with going back into to past and basically sacrificing the daughter she has now to grow up with the mother she wanted. It's like she had no affection for her child, like she was like yeah I might lose my kid but I'll get my mom, how come you don't understand that Blake? I wish Woods would have figured out a way to make that decision, at least for Elena, seem more gut wrenching and absolutely necessary instead of as an orphans fantasy dream come true. Elena had the perfect ending and she was willing to throw it all away for the one thing she didn't have.

AND Katie wtf? ended up being controlling and borderline creepy. She was willing to watch her daughter suffer because of Katies own invasive and deceptive actions just so she could be needed by and enjoy Elena more for herself? and then there was even a point were she was like damn when is the alternate Elena finally going to manifest, as if she is not technically giving up the daughter she raised for the one that never even knew her?

Though I'd still read more of Elena and Blake any day, though this book made me look at both Elena and Katie sideways.

Really disappointed. Just..wow (spoilers)

I loved the Dragonian Series. This doesn't even have anything to do with the now nullified series. The concept was cool but I could not get over the characters. Elena was all "I want my mommy if my daughter dies so be it" and Catherine was just a full fledged psychopath and not in an endearing way. I honestly couldn't stand her. Then it ends with 2 adults who have been married for a decade and had a baby in teenage bodies and completely fine with mommy dearest keeping them apart. And she just ruined their bond no biggie.
Oh and what happened to Theo and Morgan? After the beginning theyre never heard from again. (Ive read the darkbeam books too) What was the point of that part of the story?
And one last time, as a mother myself (who also has a parent missing) the concept of Elena killing her own baby is horrid. She barely felt guilty about it and grieved for all of 24 hours. And once again, never mentioned her again. Nor did blake who is a dragon and feels much more deeply.
Just. NO.
It could have been turned around maybe if the story continued but it didn't it was just some weird giant shrine of Mommy issues. (I'm sorry, all her other books get 5 stars from me but this one just left me dumbfounded)

This was a fantastic series of dragon books. It's a lot like Harry Potter - if you love HP, you'll love this. The plot is somewhat complicated but was easy enough to follow and it was very well thought out. I loved the characters and the great blend of old world and new. I also loved that there are prequels and reverse POV books to the series as well. I have read every one of them!
I'm going to put this review on each book as I hope Ms. Woods will take notice - while I loved these books, the grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors were RIDICULOUS. I don't know who the editor is but it is unforgivable for them to not catch these errors. Maybe English is not Ms. Woods's native tongue but, regardless, a good editor should catch these errors. There is one at least every 5-6 pages and those are just the ones I saw. I thought maybe it had to do with the conversion to ebooks but I've noted other reviews on sites similar to Goodreads that say the same.
Ms. Woods - your books are fantastic. It's a shame for them to look amateurish because of the many many errors in every single book.
I gave these books a 4 star because of the many errors in every book.

So again - no editor has touched this. I really thought we'd get a new story with better writing, but nope. It is a mish mash of happily ever after and time travel. I honestly don't even get why Blake and Elena's daughter would disappear or why they would re-emerge with their memories when the dent formed. This also allowed the author to completely gloss over the fact that Blake cheated on Elena only moments before the claiming and that she then doesn't even have to deal with it... Again just such lazy writing. I mean Blake has waited for years and now he is in constant contact with Elena by cammy and yet the dark takes him over and NONE of his friends do anything to stop him? Pass. The whole story didn't really have any logic to it and the fact that the mother Elena wanted so desperately was manipulative and childish. Erm yuck I mean I am sure she was mostly a good person, but the way she was presented was NOT someone valiant, strong, and brave - just mopey, whiny and awful. I just couldn't get past the queen being so un-likable and immature. You would torture a young man who is fighting against turning evil by witholding your daughter's friendship from him? And intercepting their mail.
Side note: When Elena is saying goodbye to her daughter she says she cries big 'crocodile tears'....um crocodile tears are when you fake cry, so she's fake crying about losing her daughter? creepy. EDITORS have a purpose.

I’m sad that the author had to go back and change things. I feel like Elena and Blake wouldn’t have chosen to do that. They are much better people not changing their past. Their trials made them better. I don’t want a whole series to keep going about this alternate reality. Which series happened? It’s like one overtook the other? They didn’t both happen? How does this work? What’s the point in writing one series if the other tells a whole different story? The second being a less good story. If this series continues, I hope one thing happens by the end, that they decide the first series was the life they want to go with and they make it so the second series never had to happen! Plus, they don’t just trade in their daughter to go back, they trade their entire posterity?? No. Just no.

It is actually rated for 3,5 stars...
When I started reading I almost put it away. It was confusing and weird. I did not like how it went but I kept going even though I wanted to stop. But thennnnnn.... Elena and Blake came back in how we know them so well and the real story continued. They went back in time and from now on I will tell nothing about the rest of the story. You have to do so yourself.
I never knew I would hate a character who should have been really nice. But I did. She was awful and I'm not talking about Elena.
Weird ending. I cannot say more. Some things don't add up. But it was still nice to read again about my Elena and my Blake...

Interest twist

I was very confused with how this story started and how it ended. I loved the first books in the series. And I’m very curious as to where the story is going to go from here since it basically nullified the first 5 books. I have this 4 stars bc the characters and the story is still amazing, just kinda sad that the whole thing changed and interested to know where it’s going to go from here. Wish the author would get a better website and update it more

Futuristic warning

This was a melding of Elena and Blake from the future and the life they would have had if her parents hadn’t been betrayed by Goran.
Their warning worked and Elena got to live the life she wanted with both her parents.
Fans of The Dragonian series will love this book.

Maybe 3.5

I didn't emotionally connected in this book. I read all the other ones and this one felt rushed more like a summary to me. There's still the major editing problems and misplaced words that I feel an author on her 6/7 book should be done with.

The beginning and end are rough, like they were tacked on to the meat of the story that she wanted to tell. Also, she desperately needs a new editor. But the story is fun if you have already read the Dragonian series. An interesting alternative timeline to the original story.

Amazing!

Just like her other books in this series this was wonderful! Only thing I can say is I wish it went longer and let us see how it played out this new way! Truly loved this series!

It's great to see a writer steep into their power over time/ books. what a cliff hanger on this one- it's sentimental vs. climactic. This could've been an end but is giving more for those who don't want the story to end yet. I appreciate that!
