I really loved reading Charming. It was just a nice, relaxing read that wasn't filled with too much drama. Asher said all the right thing from beginning to end to make a girl swoon. I loved the banter between the two lead characters and there were parts that just had me cracking up laughing. I think I could read these characters all day and even wouldn't mind reading about some of the other characters like Asher or Ella's best friends. This is the first book I've read by Jennifer Miller and I can't wait to read more.

A perfect love story!

This was such a fun book to read! I loved every minute of Asher and Ella's story. I truly adored Asher he was so kind, loving and took such joy in making Ella happy. I loved seeing their relationship grow from friendship to love as they spent time together!
Ella was this spunky, carefree spirit and she really cared about her friends.
This was such a sweet, modern day fairytale and Jennifer Miller did a wonderful job writing this book! I'll be looking for more of her books!!!

This was just a fun, sexy, hilarious, make you feel good story. I was truly entertained and hooked from the start. I loved Asher & Ella's relationship; they had just an amazing connection from the first moment they laid eyes on each other. And seriously how many swoon-worthy moments did Asher have? Loved him. So many awesome moments throughout the book - I can't even begin to name them all. But, the very last few paragraphs had to be my most favorite part of the book. Didn't see that coming at all, and it tied up the story perfectly!

A modern take on a fairytale!

Loved this modern take on the Cinderella fairytale! The missing pink flip flop was a great touch ;) Loved that the female lead character Ella made that empowered speech to the board and really made them think about what they were doing. And if course, having Prince Charming come busting in didn’t hurt! Can’t wait to read more!!

Wish I had more stars to give!

I wasn't sure about this when I first seen it because it's a retake of Cinderella with a twist, but I'm so glad that I took a chance. It touches some of the points of Cinderella which I loved and also has it's own personality I guess you can say. I enjoyed every second of it and didn't want to put it down! It's definitely a must read!!

Loved it!

Charming is such a cute love story! The friendship between Ella and Katie is touching throughout the story. They lean on each other and their drunk conversations are hilarious! The attraction between Ella and Asher is instant and grows into something neither was expecting. Great ending too!

Charming is Jennifer Miller's modern take on a classic fairy tale. I loved reading and following Ella and Asher's Cinderella romance. After deciding to leave her wedding, Ella and her best friend go on vacation where she meets Asher Charming. I found the characters of Katie and Faye (Fairy Godmother) A wonderful addition to the book. I look forward to reading more from this author.

What a fantastic book. No words can describe how beautifully this story was written. So many emotions that the author forces the reader to feel. I was captured from the very first page right up to the ending. I went from laughing so hard that I almost peed myself laughing so hard. Snarky, hilarious conversations between Ella and Katie her best friend had me rolling over and laughing. The world wind romance between Ella and Asher were so swoony. They are the prime examples that love at first sight can happen. Then there were times you get chocked up that something happens and as a reader you are totally invested in these characters and storyline you are hoping and wishing for a happily ever after for them. Also the whole conversation on the plane with Faye was so touching especially since she was retelling the story full of emotions to a perfect stranger. Also the twist involving Faye was hilarious. I don’t want to spoil anything about this book to other readers. My only request would be to tell you to grab this book now it was so good I finished it in a couple of hours. So I highly recommend that you get this book now and give in to the magic of love at first sight and all of the dynamics of falling in love with your Prince Charming.

I am a huge fan of retellings, which is bizarre since I’m not a huge fan of the originals. Anyways, I digress. I was intrigued by the premise of this book and fell in love with it almost as soon as I started reading. I am sleep deprived and emotionally drained this morning because of this book. But the end of this book is just wow and I must have more because while everything is neatly wrapped up you don’t get to know so much.
Anyways, the book follows Gabriella, Ella, through the few weeks after she leaves her ex standing at the altar. She goes on her honeymoon trip with her best friend, where she meets the love of her life in the form of Asher Charming. From the second he spots her he knows they are meant to be together but do things get out of hand too quickly? Do these two have a week long fling or can it last forever? Can Ella get out from under the drama that her stepmother and stepsister have created in order to keep her company? Will there be a happily ever after for these two?

This story is told from an interesting perspective. Usually it is the characters recounting their lives for you the reader. In this book most of the story is being told by the main character to the person she is sitting next to on the plane. You don’t see many books written this way and I truly enjoyed it. The author has a dynamic and unique writing style which helps to bring the story to life. I felt like I belonged in this story myself. The characters were extremely well written and dynamic. The plot was full of life and intrigue, I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. The pace and flow of this book were perfect as well. I would say that this is a flawless adult retelling of Cinderella, can’t say that I have found many of those yet.

I really hope that Jennifer decides to make some other retellings. Cinderella and Red Riding Hood are the most common but let’s not forget all those other classic stories out there. Cinderella is a decent story to begin with but the one thing I don’t understand is why would the girl run from the prince. Sure her dress is about to change into a frumpy mess but if it’s love neither of them would care right? So why run? I am off on a tangent again. Back on topic. I look forward to reading some of Jennifer’s other books but in the meantime I may just reread this book a couple times.

Charming by Jennifer Miller is a romantic comedy standalone novel and as the cover says it really is ‘A modern day sexy Cinderella story’. I absolutely loved every single minute of it. It was extremely well written and I instantly loved the characters. There were times of laughter, sadness and heart-warming moments.

The story is about Gabriella, Ella to her friends! She wins an all-expense paid fairy-tale vacation but what was meant to be a romantic honeymoon turned into something completely different.

I thought the characters were great in this book, Ella was strong, independent but clearly still wanted to be whisked off her feet by her prince charming and her best friend Katie provided many comedic moments throughout the story. I definitely laughed out loud at some of the things Ella and Katie did and said. Asher was a true gentleman, although a famous actor he was down to earth and just wanted to meet the right lady who he could treat like a princess. He is very dreamy!!

I loved how after reading this book I could actually match the characters to their fairy-tale equivalent. We have Ella (Cinderella), Asher (Prince Charming), an evil step-mother and step-sister, we have the lady who listens to Ella’s story on the plane (The Fairy Godmother), we also have the pink flip flop (the glass slipper) and as with all good fairy-tales – they lived happily ever after.

The book is very cleverly written as we have chapters from the present day and the past. Ella is basically retelling her holiday to Faye, the lady sitting next to her on the plane.
I think this is definitely one of those books that I will read again and again.

If you are looking for a funny book with characters you will love, an end ending that will bring a tear to your eye and warmth in your heart then this is the story you need to read.

Charming is a sexy, fun, fantastic, and hilarious twisted retelling of the fairytale Cinderella. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect when I glanced at the cover, but I can state with 100% confidence that this book worth the read. Miller writes such a fun story with a with characters you love to hate, characters so sweet your heart aches, and characters so hilarious their comments will stick with you for a looong time (there's never a good time for certain things, right Katie?!).

Ella was dealt a total sh*t hand in life. I was so proud of her when she stopped taking crap and stood up for herself. It all started by deciding to be true to herself which ultimately led her to Cabo and Asher. I was even more proud of her when she made the decision to go with the flow (a.k.a. Asher). She seemed so alone and lost for such a long time (aside from the awesomeness known as Katie) that I was relieved to see such a quality man stride right into her life.

Asher is quite the opposite of what you would expect of a movie star. His feet are so firmly planted in the ground and his heart his so wide open. What I really love about him is the genuineness of intentions and how respect is evident in all of his actions. Add in the physical qualities and you'll quickly add him to your core group of book boyfriends. (I want to tell you so much more about him, but don't want to spoil the sweetness for you!).

There are some great moments of humor, truly steamy sexy times, and sweet romance. The writing flow really well, the characters feel well-developed, and plot development doesn't leave you scratching your head. When you're looking for a fast-paced, entertaining read, you really can't ask for much more. Enjoy the new 2016 version of Cinderella as Ella takes Cabo San Lucas and Asher Charming by storm!

This is quite the sweetest modern day Cinderella story I've ever had the pleasure of reading with some nice variations to it. This is a 4.5 star story

I won't reveal much about what's in it because I don't want to ruin the experience of enjoying this great story. This is a modern day kind of like Cinderella with the nasty step mother, evil step sister and the Prince Charming. It's full of surprises and twists too.

I really enjoyed this story very much. It was a slow easing into in order to get to the fairy tale romance but once it got there it was amazing. Asher is so sweet, caring, compassionate, the true Prince Charming. Ella is funny, sweet and never backs down when life gets though, she just fights harder. I didn't care very very much for Ella's friend, she was a little too hyper for me. That is why it was a slow easing into the story for me, because her friend is present a lot in the beginning.

Nicely written. Although it was a fast pace romance , it felt right for this kind of story and the characters. I was so captivated by it that I read it in a single rainy afternoon. Asher and Ella had some pretty strong attraction. I love a good romance novel and this one did it for me.

Standalone told in Ella's POV only but even if Asher's POV was absent, I could feel him. I highly recommend reading this story.

A Cinderella story at its best!
Charming by Jennifer Miller is indeed a modern day sexy Cinderella story. I absolutely loved this book. You have your sexy, too good to be true Prince Charming (who’s a famous actor), Cinderella (CEO of her own marketing firm), Fairy Godmother (a great listener on an airplane); the stepmother and stepsister from hell; a pink flip flop (aka glass slipper), and of course an “And They Lived Happily Ever After” ending.
This story has the full range of emotions ranging from sadness to hysterical moments. The characters are well developed and there’s great banter between them. Jennifer Miller wrote the setting so you felt you were in Cabo and I really wish I was there with Ella and her bestie. Our heroine is strong and stands up for herself. Our hero is a famous actor who is down to earth, considerate, fun, intriguing, and as his name states, is charming. This was truly a magical story that will have you believing in love at first sight. A fun read! This goes on my keeper shelf for a reread!

3.5 stars!!

This was a one click read for me! I adore Cinderella stories. I was sucked in from the first few moments and I LOVED, Loved chapter 3!
The middle of the story was so so, leaving me slightly bored with the cliche 'getting to know each other' jargon. I really wanted more drama! The beginning started off so strong... I was hoping it would carry throughout the story, but I enjoyed the very last few paragraphs very much!
Jennifer Miller is not a new author to me, and actually I have read most of her work. She is spot on with details in describing scenes but sometimes I feel certain areas are over detailed making it difficult to remember what the point is.
I really enjoyed the independence and personality of the main female lead. She was real, honest, and her snarky comments were excellent!
Charming was a sweet story, with amusing characters, and a happily ever after plot.

Well, I certainly do after reading Charming by Jennifer Miller. This story is quite the departure from her Deadly Sins series, but it's no less amazing!!!

Things don't go as planned for Ella and she finds herself on her honeymoon with her best friend drinking marguritas at a resort bar. But fate has different plans for her, when her eyes meet world famous action star Asher Charming's, she can't help but feel an instant pull toward him.

He's sexy, has the body of a God, and there's just something in his gaze that calls to her. When she wakes up in bed naked, with a hangover, no memories, and an equally nude Prince in her bed, she doesn't know what to do. But Asher does. He's determined to show her a good time. Get your mind out of the gutter ladies, Ashers's a perfect gentleman. Well, mostly.

O.M.G.....love love love this book! Love the modern day Cinderella take. Just a fantastic read! Ella is about to make a major change in her life. Out with Jeremy, in with Asher. Will Asher live up to his last name...charming? Is a week long fling with him a good idea? Can he be for real? What could go wrong? Can they have a HEA? I can't find a flaw in this book. The characters were so well written. Wanted to smack a few and hug the others. Loved the strong, take no crap attitude of Ella. Asher was just a major sweetheart. Such a simple story that had such emotions. Yup...I cried! Just fantastic! I highly recommend you purchase this book. It's simply....CHARMING!

Loved this book! I got so caught up in this fairy tale romance I wanted to be Ella, how amazing would it be to meet a handsome stranger who is a movie star, but so down to earth and has a beautiful loving heart. Loved how Ella handled her fiance on the wedding day douche bag got what he deserved! And the pink flip flop oh my god so perfect. A dream vacation and a chance meeting of a handsome stranger, turns into romance, sex, and a whole lot of fun.
