One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.
Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.
Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.
As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!
In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.
Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!

Really enjoyed Zoeys story and starting to get some of the family secrets out. But surprised we did not find out the conclusion of the issues which lead her to New York. It felt a bit forgotten about.

This is Zoey & Bennett's story. Zoey is the lone girl in the Henderson Clan. That doesn't mean she escaped the horrible childhood her brothers had. Zoey may not have been physically abused like her brothers but she was mentally abused. Zoey decided she was tired of being alone and wanted a baby. While going through the process some medical issues were discovered which halted the process. Zoey decided to hire Bennett to look into her mother so she could get the medical history she needed. Zoey was smitten by Bennett since meeting him several years prior. What Zoey didn't realize was Bennett was also smitten with her. Zoey was so damaged by her father that she was a shell of a person who didn't believe she deserved love or happiness let alone anyone giving that to her. Bennett also had feelings for Zoey but felt she deserved better then him. While looking for Zoey's mom for her he stumbled upon some very nasty information. He struggled with what he learned and decided to keep it to himself. Well he did tell her brother Brice and is working to try and correct the situation. Time will tell. The chemistry between them is so strong they in fact help heal each other without even trying. You will need tissues while reading this book. There are so man emotions that you well at least I did struggled with. I don't think you will be disappointed I know I wasn't.

Enjoyable read, wasn’t as hooked on this as much as the first 3 in the series but it’s good non-the less .
Chloe’s character lacked something, I think it was passion.
The two were great together, but Bennett was a wonderful character that I think deserved a more action packed storyline

Another of the Barrington/Henderson series. This time it’s Zoey Henderson, the only girl in the family. Brow beaten by their abusive father Zoey has no self confidence & doesn’t trust anyone. Needing help and information she calls on Bennet Stone, series readers will know Bennet is an ex marine, an investigator well known for being the sole of discretion and trustworthy. He has always had a thing for Zoey but knowing her brothers he’s always kept his distance.. until now.
This is a good read and I’m sure the information Bennet uncovers will resurface later on. (This series coincides with Barrington Billionaires by Ruth Cardello, which is well worth reading)

I’m really enjoying this series and the search for the hidden answers that flow from book to book. Sadly, we are still waiting on the answers and the last book is not out as of yet. Ay.... I knew Bennett had the hots for Zoey.... but what he discovered as he looked for Zoey Mother was unreal. I will not spoil this love Story... but Darn. James Henderson was an asshole. All Zoey ever wanted was to be loved by her father, and all he did was abuse her mentally, with words that no father should be saying to his daughter. The Story unfolds and secrets come out, and in the end, we are still where we were in the beginning. Not knowing who Zoey mom is. But love blossom and Zoey does find her prince charming.

Wow...
We really got an up close look at how cruel James Henderson was as a father through the unveiling of Zoey's pain. So glad Bennett was there to offer her the love she so desperately needed and was deserving of. Such a well written love story. I think this one is my favorite in this series thus far. Can't wait for the final end to the father's unflattering story. What an awful person.

Can the man be anymore EVIL?
Another great story of the Henderson's in the Barrington Billionaire Series. A great story that is well written by an excellent author. More is found out about the evil James Henderson and the heinous things that he did. Will Bennett and Zoey be able to make it in light of the abuse the Zoey suffered and the things that Bennett will find about her father while looking for her mother? A must read book!

When the family need help they know the exact man who will get it done and Zoe finds herself doing just that, only its not as easy as she might of thought and throughout the read there time together enhance's there feeling got easy other now to get the boys on there side.

When you are hired by the Henderson family to be their muscle, and do research for them, you never know what the job will entail. However when little sister Zoey calls Bennett Stone the ex-Marine to do a job for her. He knows he will do whatever she wants. Zoey wants to find information on the Henderson’s birth mother. She has a health scare and no information on her biological mother. She never knew her mother. None of the Hendersons’ did. Stone has no idea what a tangled mess this truly is. He thought it would be a dipole DNA test. It was so much more.

You'll find that their father was more despicable than one can imagine. We know the boys had it really bad growing up, but Zoey apparently had it much worse. And as each is getting their HEA the plot just gets more intense. Make sure you have tissues close by.

Bennett Stone was great at his job, he knew it and his clients knew it. He was also known as a womanizer so when he met Zoey Henderson two years ago, he was taking aback by her. He was warned by her brothers to stay away from her but when he was asked by the same beauty to look for her birth mother.
Zoey Henderson, the only girl among five overbearing brothers. She found herself wanting a baby but no man wanted to go out with her thanks to her piece of BLEEP of father, James Henderson.
When some medical issues came up, Zoey turned to the one person she knew could help her and give her the space she needed to handle things her way, Bennett Stone. She'd been thinking about the man in a more personal and intimate way since the instant she met him.

Bennett wanted to get to know the real Zoey, the Zoey Henderson she didn't show the rest of the world. As they worked together, they found out things about each other that make their mutual attraction stronger.
Bennett saw the hurt Zoey was carrying from her past, he wanted to take all her pain away and did the only thing he thought would help her heal. He called a good friend of his to help him out, Doug Atwood.
What Bennett found out about the Henderson clan was very shocking and unexpected. Zoey misunderstood an action by Bennett, the latter wasn't about to let the former push him away, come what may. Seeing those two loners fall in love with each was a delightful treat.
To have Bennett turned to Brice ( ONE WHITE LIE ) for help when his investigation took a very interesting route was well done.

Wow! Much more intense than the others in the series. Zoey has suffered intense emotional abuse all her life from her father, even more than her brothers ever knew. Bennett Stone has been hired to protect various members of the Henderson family throughout the past two years, but now Zoey hires him for another reason. As their personal relationship develops, Bennett starts to learn that there are Henderson family secrets that no one ever knew or suspected. Why don't any of the Henderson siblings remember their mother, not even the oldest Brice?

Jeannette Winters - Virgin For The Fourth Time –( Barrington Billionaire's Series- Book Four)
Both Bennett Stone and Zoey Henderson have been interesting characters in previous books and now they get their own story. Zoey has been protected by her alpha brothers her whole life. They believe that it is in her best interest to take their advice and that it is their duty to protect her and “no” man will ever be good enough for her. Zoey is a grown woman and wants to tell all 6 of them to STOP.
As the story begins, Zoey is aimlessly driving from New York and heading south. She is rattled with news from her doctor of a medical problem and ends up in North Carolina. Zoey needs to find her mother that she really doesn’t know. Her father “forbid” any of the children to contact their mother. But, Zoey needs to get her medical background which may help with her medical problem. (We are never told what the problem is so, I will just use ‘medical problem’).
Zoey didn’t want to call her brothers for their help because they would swoop in and ‘rescue’ her. So she called Bennett Stone instead. Bennett is the last person that her brothers want her around. He has been warned that Zoey is off limits.
Bennett is hired frequently by her brothers for security, body guard and other special projects. He is not sure that he should help Zoey find her mother. It would put him in the cross hairs of her brothers. But, he decides to help her and the past flirting that they both did for fun has turned into passion and a chemistry they have for each other that is off the charts.
As Bennett gets closer to the truth that her father had hidden from all siblings, they will need to get more help and take down this group of high powered men once and for all. Don’t miss this installment.
Issues: Unless I missed something, we were never told what the medical problem is? She is pregnant and has a medical problem and it isn’t resolved? She now knows about an uncle and his children and that was left “hanging”. Maybe this will all be clearer in the next installment. It drives me a little crazy when there are threads hanging out there. I feel like the story wasn’t finished.
