Things are looking dire for our valiant heroes. Badlug is on their trail, Misty's father is marching to battle, and Thrawgg the Unconquered is very close to conquering Gorga and Pete. Will they prevail over the forces of darkness, or will Misty be forced to marry Badlug in order to avert a full-out war?

I felt bad for Pete getting injured in this part of the comic. I liked the getting to know a little bit about Robin talk. On the other hand, I almost thought Misty was trying to kill herself when Lord Badlug confronted her. Lucky thing that Fogoth was there to recuse her. I was glad that Gorga's powers increased or came out with the ability as she was able to officially turn the monster (The Thrawgg) to stone. Also, Gorga and Pete finally met. I liked how Pete got this character development in this chapter of the comic and a new outlook on life with deeper meanings. I laughed and loved the meet up with Fogmoth and Robin as they each said Hi to one another. Once all the trouble and chaos came upon Grimoire once again, thinking it might all end up like history repeating itself. I instantly felt sad and bad that it was ending with Pete dying while Gorga turned him to stone hopefully I guess to try and save him from bleeding out. In the end, I felt anger for the sudden death of Pete and the sword breaking because for one it was beautiful and was needed to kill Lord Badlug with it.

I borrowed this book from the library that has all the volumes in one and I loved it. It has a strong female lead. A heartbreaking history of the kingdom and the citizens that were once broken coming together.
