Have you ever experienced a time when a book gave you too much emotion, and you thought your heart’s about to burst because it couldn’t carry it all? It’s too much that you just want to spend all your time looking at your bedroom wall, try processing if you what you read just broke you or mend you or both?
Have you ever finished a book that made you cry so hard, you never thought it’s possible to bawl like that over fictional characters? Have you ever been left by a book so heartbroken, so confused but so in love at the same time? I know… I know. You can call me crazy, but seriously… I have no idea what happened to me too, and I don’t know where this review is going. I’m such a mess right now, sorry.
A LOVE SO DEADLY is the second installment from Lili Valente’s TO THE BONE series. It starts exactly where A LOVE SO DANGEROUS left off. So there, Gabe Alexader’s secrets were revealed in this book. Caitlin Cooney has become braver, but her courage was taken to its limits.
The continuation of Gabe and Caitlin’s story isn’t what I’ve expected it to be. The road to their HEA is bumpier and messier than what I’ve bargained for, but I’m loving every inch of pain its inflicting me. The pain made me feel closer to the book and the characters. They felt more real!
Lots of things happened too, and those you don’t want me to share with you, unless you want me to spoil this amazing book for you. Just a few things are sure, your A LOVE SO DANGEROUS questions will be answered here. Uhm, well, "some" of them.
The chapters DROVE ME NUTS. Period. This book is sexier and more intense than the first book. I can never say "please prepare yourself", because nobody can ever be prepared for the ride this book’s going to take you. Hold on to you heart, because this is one crazy ride LILI VALENTE's going to give you!

This book was full of so many emotional ups and downs that I needed some time to regroup and get my thoughts together before writing my review. But that's the sign of a fantastic book, isn't it?
Gabe and Caitlin have spent the last few months trying to bring vigilante justice to those who deserve it, yet always slip away. But now one of their marks is about to catch up with them. With Caitlin's life on the line, Gabe is forced to take action, but in doing so he reveals his darkest secret to Caitlin.
I'm not one for spoilers in a review so I will just say that this book is filled with the unexpected and just when you've started to accept the heartbreak, it all changes again. I desperately want to read the next book in this series because my heart can't take the suspense of not knowing how this will end.

How much more heartbreak can Caitlin take?! There are so many twists and turns in this one. I felt like I was on an intense emotional roller coaster ride!
I am totally invested in this series. I can't wait for the conclusion to,this story...I NEED to know if Caitlin gets her HEA?!

Was dying for this. Its book 2 in a 3 part series. Must read part one. It picks up right where one left us hanging in need. And its so addicting. I loved it. Yes got answers no spoilers. But it's needed. The cliffhanger after one will have many dying for this anyways. But omg I am so ready for book 3. I don't want this to end. Loving this series. Love Gabe. This this story. Recommend it.

Wow! Wow! I need the next book for this series now. I absolutely love this book series and cannot wait to see how it ends in the next book. A love so deadly was another great read by Lili Valenten. It created so many emotions within me that it had me sobbing within 30% of the book. Once I started reading it I could not put it down once I started reading it. I loved the first book, but I had so many questions and was waiting for this book. This book was worth the short wait because it answered all the questions I had from the first book. I absolutely love Caitlin and there was so many times that I just wanted to give her a hug and tell her everything will be alright. She is such a strong character that had a big heart. In this book Caitlin went through a lot of heartbreak and it made her into a stronger person, however it was so heartbreaking seeing her struggle through the pain she experienced in this book. I loved Gabe as well and the way that he tries to protect the ones he loves. He was completely different to the playboy that I originally thought of him and saw that he is a caring and loving person that has had his life turn upside down. This was such a great book and I am waiting desperately for the next book in the series.

A Love so Deadly picks up exactly where we left off. On the edge of our seats! I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Lili is the Queen of the cliffhanger and I love and hate her for it. I know it's coming and I love the anticipation of seeing those words, "Gabe and Caitlin's story concludes…" Everything is this book is taken up a notch. The chemistry, the sexiness, the emotions. It's like a storm that just keeps rolling in. The writing is perfect, the characters are deep and the story is outstanding. Gabe and Caitlin are one of my favorite couples of Lili's. I need A Love so Deep right now!

Im conflicted. I hate cheaters (big petpeeve of mine in stories in general), but the h has spent a year thinking the H was dead, so she gets a pass. Barely.
Him? He's starting to remember, he knows he loves her more than anything and he is trying to find her but still has sex with OW? I dont know if I can get over that.
Still, Im going to wait for the 3rd one for a full review.

At this point we all know Gabe has a secret and that he ended things with Caitlin to avoid dragging her down with him and his secret. But that lasts less than a day before he decides he needs to come clean because he just can't stay away from her anymore. But when he shows up at her place he instantly feels like something is wrong...
The suspense will just about crack your teeth. From the resolution of the issues at the beginning of this book to the cliffhanger at the end of this book. You will be left sitting there, jaw gaping, thinking WTF? That can't possible be true or right or accurate but how can this devious author possibly write these characters out of this one? Spoilers!

I was so excited to read A Love So Deadly! The cliffhanger in A Love So Dangerous was huge and my mind was on overdrive to figure it out and luckily the wait was not too long. It is different from any other series I have read and I love Lili Valente for it! Her writing is amazing and can't wait to read more of her books. Now, on with the review...I try to do spoiler free reviews and it's even harder with sequels so I will try my best.
Caitlin had the summer of her life and now has to try to move on for her family. She gets the opportunity of a lifetime to start over new from an unlikely source but this is what her family needs. She knows she will never feel how she did with Gabe in those few months that bought out the true Caitlin that was hiding. She tries her best to move forward even after going through the worst of times of her life....
Caitlin is trying so hard to just keep her family together and happy! She is such a strong and beautiful woman. Lili has given us one amazing serial series with some of my favorite characters. Excited to see what is going to happen next!

Wow.... The first book left us heartbroken and shocked! This second book picks up where A Love So Dangerous left off and hits the ground running! Caitlin and Gabe's activities seem to be catching up to them in a very terrifying way! But even though they are both strong and resourceful, it is impossible not to be scarred. Just when you think you can breathe again, the plot twists and you're back to heart pounding intrigue, and heartbreaking revelations. This story is a wild ride and you don't know what will happen next or who to trust. Caitlin is a strong character and has been tested again and again. Even when you think she is fragile, she is still moving forward and slowly reviving to be who she was always meant to be. There are many twists and turns in this exhilarating and engaging story. Ms. Valente has weaved a sexy, intriguing, and action packed tale that is impossible to put down! I can't wait for the the final installment!

OMG! The queen of cliffhangers has done it to me again. Lili Valente has the amazing knack for stringing me through one of her stories, hanging onto the edge of my seat chapter after chapter, and then tumbling to the floor with the need for answers. Well, she accomplished that feat once again with A Love So Deadly. Amazingly enough, even though she gives me fair warning, I'm still never quite ready to be left dangling, but alas I am. The amazing chemistry between these characters is so electrifying, I can practically feel the currents run from my iPad through to my fingertips. I excitedly await book three and the fantastic conclusion to Caitlin and Gabe's story that I know Lili Valente will give me.

I'm officially gone... hook, line and sinker!!! I need the next book like i need air to breathe!! Lili Valente had me on a roller-coaster of emotions. Happy that we finally get to know what Gabe is hiding then broken hearted, hopeful, then had my heart ripped out again. I couldn't even write this review right after I finished because I couldn't put thoughts together without spilling the beans on what happens within this book.
I desperately need the next book in this series!! My heart is pounding just thinking about the ending of this book and what is to come next for Gabe and Caitlin.
Lili is one author who you do not want to miss a book from. She can pull so many emotions from you all while giving you a story that you can't put down.

Gabe finally tells Caitlin the truth and they both decide to live life here and now until one day something horrible happens. Wow this book has so many ups and downs you will cry, get angry and frustrated. Caitlin I feel so bad for her all I wanna do it hug her and tell her to be strong and never give up! Gabe what happened to him is he really dead? I don't wanna spoil anything but you never know what's gonna happen in this book don't trust anyone and don't assume anything! This story just keeps getting better and better. I love the direction the story has taken. So full of emotion, it just pours off the pages. I cried throughout this book, used so many tissues. So many twists and turns. This story definitely kept me hooked. Caitlyn is such a strong woman. She has taken on siblings that were not her responsibility to raise. She stands toe to toe with her father, who in my opinion is worthless. She fights for what she knows is worth keeping. Such a wonderfully developed character. The ending left me in tattered pieces, needing to know how this story ends. Waiting, not so patiently, for the final piece to glue me back together.

You know a book is good when you have been talking to yourself about everything going on.
Man oh man. I writing this with 30 minutes left in the audio book but this book is just sooo good. I cant wait to listen to the next one. I love love love Gabe and Caitlin. I couldn't even imagine this book going where it went. The lies, the darkness, the deception. This is the type of dark book I like. a couple being dark together not the man dark towards the woman. If you haven't started this series start it today.
The audio book is the best. I love Erin Mallon and Lance Greenfield in this series. They are the best.

This one picks up right where A Love so Dangerous ends. Holy moly this one keeps you end the edge of your seat. The twists and turns this one takes had me gasping. I found myself saying no, yes, NOOOO, then YES!!! This does leave off on a cliffhanger, but boy is the story of Gabe and Caitlin so good. I really can't wait for the next book because boy it's going to be good.

Yeah. This died fast for me when I realized where this story was heading. That does not mean this isn't a good story, in fact, it's pretty good, but what's going on in here, where the author is taking this story, is not where I want to go.
Having read reviews of this book and the next one, I don't want to get myself wrapped up in a story where the H is apparently dying of an illness (no spoiler there as you figure it out at the end of the first book and it's discussed in the beginning pages of book 2) dying H's are not on my 'to read' list. But don't worry, he doesn't actually die (hooray!) he just...
Yeah, I'm just not into that kind of torturous reading and the series seems to be about all these people that want to keep our couple apart. Just not my cuppa. I'm sure others will enjoy the rest of this ride, me however, I'm getting off the train here. I might come back and finish this one day when I feel like I need a good dose of angst.

Continuing the To The Bone trilogy, A Love So Deadly #2 had me engrossed throughout and feeling so many emotions. And the cliff hanger... wow! I'm so happy this series is complete so I can start the final book now. It's a brilliant read that you won't want to miss!

OMG, this book! It was absolutely heart wrenching! The first book in the series was kind of dark and disturbing, but sweet underneath. This one started that way, but then totally wrecked me! I literally cried for 20 minutes. I had to put it down and walk away for a few days. That’s a true sign of a great author...when you become so caught up in the book and characters that it affects you in real life.
The whole book was a roller coaster of emotions. The deceit and lies and heartbreak...just, wow! Ups and downs... I can’t wait to read the final book in the series!

This story is exciting and well written. The characters are endearing and the struggles are vivid. I really enjoyed the Robinhood nature of the story and how Caitlyn finds her power with Gabe's help. This is book 2 of 3. You can get the trilogy in a single audiobook with To the Bone, or listen individually. I purchased directly from the Author. The narration by Erin Mallon and Lance Greenfield really delivered and brought these characters to life with the perfect emotions for each moment. I look forward to finishing the trilogy!

Lili Valente must be related to evil incarnate. Why else would she want me balling my eyes out almost the entirety of this book?!?! She must thrive on the pain of others. Or shes just that good at destroying the fragile hearts of her readers?
I'm going with the latter. A Love So Deadly was an emotional and devastating book. My eyes and head hurt. My heart hurts. All that's left is hope and even that's iffy right now.

OMG, OMG, holy shit OMG! The story of Caitlin and Gabe is continued in this second book of the To The Bone trilogy, and guys holy shit; the plot twist! I had so many emotions reading this book. I laughed, I cried, and I rejoiced! Lili does not disappoint in carrying on the story, it's full of surprises. I've said it before, make sure you grab all 3 books... you won't wanna wait to find out how their story concludes 😘

I really loved this book and this series. Well worth the listen. Gabe and Caitlin are a modern day "Bonnie and Clyde". The relationship is volatile. Caitlin's dedication to her family and Gabe's dysfunctional one make a great story. The story was awesome and kept me on my toes. It was happy, sad, exciting and scary. The narrators were excellent bringing this story to life.

Book 2 ... continuation of Kaitlyn and Gabe. She moves to Maui and tHinks that Gabe has died.....of course realizes when her father passes away that he had brain surgery and survived. I know it sounds crazy but it actually was not that crazy at all... yes, some parts were a little far fetched but Lili Valente does a great job with this story.

Still no happy ending, but I have hope!
This second book in the series did not end with a cliffhanger as big as the first but it still didn’t end. The story is good though. So good that I am on to book 3!
