I don't know if it was because halfway through the chapters became massively out of order (a fact that I didn't realize right away because the POV was so horrible to begin with) or the wildly OOC bits (Dumbledore staring forlornly out onto a bleak landscape and crying as Minerva walks out of his life) but this fic was not for me. Very disappointed because the writing started off so well I didn't even mind the AU, the Mary Sues, and the OOC appearances that normally bother me. I'd like to say for 400 pages I took something away from reading it, but all I learned was to never waste so much sleep reading an untried fic.
