You know what I love? I love a good twist. I love being thrown for a loop. I love the thought of going on an emotional rollercoaster, and coming out with my hair frayed, my nerves shot, and my heart beating wildly! That is EXACTLY what I got with Kiss Shot.

The Ending of Book 1 left me feeling.... I don't know....anxious... and rightfully so! Shane was pissed... But then this book.... Ruthie... my main bitch is so strong, and dosen't give a shit. But what happens when she meets up with her childhood crush? Well i'm not gonna tell you! Read it and find out for yourself!

Def Recommend and can't wait to read more from Zara! Thank so much for introducing me to your little world!

I started reading Kiss Shot the second in this series hoping all my questions and the cliffhanger would be answered. Well most of the were but another cliffhanger and questions at the end of this book. I love the main couple in this book and the way their relationship grew. I also enjoy seeing the other characters from the first book. This book is hot, steamy, and suspenseful. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. Hopefully we will get answers about the Lucky Leprechaun. I highly recommend this book.

Steamy and suspenseful. Ruthie and Shane have never forgotten their first kiss many years ago and what almost happened after it. Except Ruthie’s brother Kevin made sure nothing happened. Then Shane left for Australia and Ruthie became an MMA fighter. Now, many years later, Ruthie is back home as a spy and Shane is her target. Sparks and bullets fly as they both conduct their investigations into each other and the Lucky Leprechaun explosion in Boston several years before.
This book is full of sexual tension and surprises every corner. It will keep you guessing and dying to find out more. Growing up in a family involved in the Irish Mafia will mess you up pretty bad but there are still some characters and some moments that are deep and touching. These are fully rounded characters that you want to root for no matter what choices they make. I love the authentic Irish word choices and speech patterns. I can hear the Irish accents when I read. Exciting and steamy, I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait for the next installment to find out what some of the characters are up to and how really blew up the Lucky Leprechaun.

I was excited to read this because of the promotion then I started reading it and I was really disappointed. None of the characters had a strong personality or effect on me. None of them cling to me. None of them made me swoon or feel like I was to reenact the plot haha. This was a boring read and I only finished it cause I hate leaving book unfinished.

I can't believe the same person wrote the first book in the Triskelion series. The suspense plot in Final Target was exciting and the romance of the main characters was enjoyable to read. In this book, the writing is amateurish (so unlike Zara Keane!), the plot is interesting but undeveloped and the characters are one-dimensional.
I chose this book as the first one in 2021 because I expected it to start the year off with a bang. What a disappointment.

This book was BETTER than the first. All the tension between a few family members comes to a head. More spies are thrown into the game. And oh hell, I can't wait for the next book in the series!!!

I'm absolutely loving the Triskelion series. There's plenty of drama, intrigue, romance, and steamy sex scenes to appeal to all of my likes. Zara keeps hitting them out of the park!

ARC received for an honest review

This is the second installment of the Triskelion Team series, and although it could be read as a standalone for Shane and Ruthie's story, the storyline does carry through from the first book Final Target, so I would read that one first.

Oh what a tangled web we weave....

We first met Shane Delaney in the first book, and at the end of it he had come across some information that had him majorly p!ssed.

Ruthie Reynolds is a girl from his past that he never thought he would see again... and never thought he would love. I freaking LOVE Ruthie and her take no crap, take no prisoners outlook on life. I love her strength to do what needs to be done, however it needs to be done.

But even with all that strength, the walls she has built up are not unbreachable.

There is so much going on in this book. You never knew what was going to happen next, who was who, what was what. Just when you thought you knew what was going to happen next... BAM - nope!

There were some definite OMGF moments, things that I definitely did not see coming.

From the first word to the last, I was hooked on Kiss Shot, and am not impatiently awaiting more from Ms Keane.

Shane Delaney is the genius computer hacker born in a crime family. He went into his business with his cousin, and other family members, working as part of their new private company of mercenaries. He never blinks at getting any job done, no matter how unpleasant it is. However, his newest assignment involves his best friends little sister, which makes the professional lines blur just a bit. Ruthie Reynolds is a pool shark, and grifter to the world, who has offended a dangerous Dublin crime lord. He sends his son to make her pay, and Ruthie is horrified to recognize the man she's had a crush on since she was little, ready to rough her up. Since she's been back home, no one knows that she's really a spy, and her target, unfortunately is Shane. Will Ruthie and Shane keep circling around each other, or will they unite to uncover the truth?

WOW! Zara Keane, where have you been my whole life?! This series is the first time that I've read her, and my heart raced cover to cover, not to mention I couldn't put the book down until the very last page. Her talented writing style is simply brilliant, as she had me from the very first page. I never knew what hit me, to be honest, as the story started out at a full run, and never slowed down. Her twists and turns kept me on my toes until the very end. The character development is fantastic, as the characters realistic personalities were revealed layer by layer. And the colorful cast of secondaries only made it better. Flammable chemistry EXPLODED into hot flash worthy, sizzling sexy scene goodness. Well placed humor, and witty dialogue had me laughing hard quite a bit, and I have to reiterate the suspense filled pages were intense, and not at all easy to see who would be left standing when secrets were revealed. I CANNOT WAIT to read everything this author has ever written, so I'm going to HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kiss Shot to all!

Wow! This book is pure twists and turns. Shane (cousin of Lar from book 1) of the Triskelion Team suddenly hooks up with his lost crush Ruthie. Little does he know this tough little scrapper from his past has been hired to look into he and his family. As she slowly works her way into his heart, she's also trying hard to learn his family secrets. Since his jerk of a father and thuggish brothers are in the underbelly of Ireland, one would think there's a lot to discover. Meanwhile Shane's father Frank has him spying on his best friend/cousin Lar. Frank wants to know all there is to know about the event at the Lucky Leprechaun in Boston. Family and friends died that day and people are blaming everyone they can find. Unbeknown to them, a mysterious agency also hired Ruthie to learn about the Leprechaun. What happened that day that has everyone all riled up. Shane has two worthless brothers and a sister he rarely sees thanks to her abusive husband. Ruthie also has a brother who has many problems of his own. In fact it's due to his MASSIVE gambling debts she agrees to help this shadow agency. Her beloved brother is off his meds and bipolar. Factor in the gambling debts and it's one giant mess. Everyone is keeping secrets from everyone else. Some for good reasons, and some not so much. Believe me when I say there is more to be revealed by the end of this book. Not to mention a shocker and adventure or two. Twists and turns, love and hate, intrigue and suspense. ...all rolled up into one amazing book. This series and author in particular NEVER let you down. So put your feet up and dive in for a trip to the seedy underbelly of Ireland. Filled with passion, brotherhood, friendship, lost loves, deception and lots of surprises!

THE IRISH ARE TAKING OVER MY HEART.....SHANE DELANEY IS NO EXCEPTION....

Once again Zara Keane has written an absolutely BRILLIANT book. Kiss Shot is Book Two in her Triskelion Series and it is just as good as the first one. She kept me totally engrossed from beginning to end, yet again. Does this woman ever ever put a foot wrong? My answer ....no never....not with this series anyway.

Shane Delaney, cousin and best friend to Lar from Final Target, is a geek, but so much more than that, muscled, loyal, but also suspicious of information that he has in his possession. information that he fails to share. Now he must deal with another problem, in order to satisfy his father's wishes, but he gets more than he expects - an old girlfriend who he has never really forgotten.

Ruthie Reynolds is that girl. She has returned to fulfill a duty so that she can remove all of her brother's debts. I loved Ruthie, she was fiesty, sassy but also had that side of her that she tried to hide. She still had feelings for Shane. get these two together and WOW!!!!

Once again Zara Keane has immersed her reader in a story of secrets, mystery, suspense, intrigue and a little bit of romance thrown in. You never know where this woman is going to take you with her stories. Just when you think you know exactly what is going on....yep she throws you another curve ball that takes you off in another direction. All I can say is, for a writer to have the ability to be able to do this constantly throughout a book is EXCEPTIONAL. She definitely has won a fan in me.

FIVE STARS shining brightly from me.

I am not a fan of Mafia romance fiction but somehow Zara Keane has hooked me on this series. Even though it may seem unbelievable, Kiss Shot (Triskelion Team #2) is edgier, grittier and more action-packed then the first in the series, Final Target. Lars makes an appearance in the Ballybeg Series where right and wrong are a little clearer. I fell for Lars and now I had been wondering how much hurt Shane would be laying on him at the end of Final Target.

By the end of chapter one I still had not made up my mind about Shane. Liking the main characters is important to the enjoyment of any book for me so I was still on the fence with this one. However, with Ruthie, I loved this gutsy, loyal woman from the beginning. The longer Shane was around her the more I warmed up to him too.

The romance takes a second place to the action in the plot. There are more turns and twists then any mountain road could have Just when you think you know where this story is headed, something or someone new pops up. It is definitely an amazing page turner. Shane does okay too winning Ruthie, though it looked as if he would lose her a time or two.
.
While this book could easily be read as a stand-alone, why would you want too? My suggestion is to read the first in the series, no go back and read the entire Ballybeg series. This is the Ireland you don’t see on the tour trip.

4.5 Stars

Lies and deception continue…
If you haven’t read the first book in this series than you definitely want to before diving head first into another “on the edge of your seat”, pot-boiler of romantic suspense. Lies, deception? Yeah, that’s all covered here but it is surrounded by a tale of family and emotion, twists and curves that I got lost in once again…
“In the perfect kiss shot, it hit off a ball, changed direction, and rolled toward her real target…”
The Delaney family is at the center of another emotion-fueled roller coaster ride as cousin Shane sees Ruthie Reynolds, a one-time best friend’s sister, in an entirely different light. Shane is struggling with revelations discovered about his own family while Ruthie wrestles with hiding those from her own. Caught between a rock and a hard place, Ruthie is determined to do what she must but she is ill-equipped to deal with her growing feelings for Shane while continuing to fulfill the tasks before her… I don’t envy her one little bit as Shane proves over and over how solid and trustworthy, how good he is to her and those he loves.
Throw in a rescued mongrel and I’m definitely on #TeamShane! There is an over-arching plot running through the books in this series and that story is nowhere near finished. In fact, it is murkier than ever before. Bring on the next instalment. Hurry, please.

Kiss Shot is book 2 in the Triskelion Team series and was a great 5 star read.

This is Shane and Ruthie’s story.
Ruthie gets herself in some hot water and angers the wrong person, this person is seeking revenge.
Shane is sent on an assignment and is surprised to find that it is his best friends sister Ruthie.

Can he go through with his assignment? Can Ruthie resist the man she has had a crush on since she was a little girl?

There is so much to this great story. Lots of twists and turns and you're just not sure what is coming next. My stomach was in knots and I was on the edge of my seat. I really liked Ruthie’s strength and feistiness. I loved this story and can’t wait to see what is coming next. Thank you Zara Keane for pulling me into your world. Loved it!

Blood is thicker than water and family you can’t choose. Sometimes you have to look beyond what the eyes can see and what the ear hears and use your heart as your eyes and ears. Ruthie and Shane have known each other forever. Shane and Ruthie’s brother Kevin were best friends growing up. Ruthie’s crush on Shane has been just as long. Ruthie is a woman who takes cares for her family and will do whatever it takes. Ruthie has come home to take care of her brother debts but comes with a price. She’ll have to gather information on her one and only crush who happens to be her savior in saving her and her family.

Shane has his own dilemma. He’s gathering info on his own family but is not sharing like he’s suppose to with his dad. He feels betrayed by what he finds and getting involved with Ruthie's business with his psycho brother-in-law isn’t the smartest move.

Secrets, betrayal, discoveries and romance are all found in this intriguing new book. Once you start, you’ll want to finish it!

Shane Delaney has “fond” memories of a certain woman – Ruthie Reynolds. Ruthie is a woman of many talents. I loved the tenacity she seems to have. But her motives are just a little questionable especially where Shane is concerned. It’s not long before these two reconnect and then our ride begins so sit back and enjoy.

I loved how the author kept me guessing as well as Shane and Ruthie. It was great to see the strength that Ruthie had – both the physical and in spirit. She’s also compassionate as you can tell by her interactions with her brother. Shane seemed to be the perfect bad boy needing just the right woman to reign him in. The ending left me glad that these two found a way to be together but left me wondering if their story is over yet. I could only find out that there’s a book three, titled Bullet Point, but don’t know if they will make an appearance. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Kiss Shot by Zara Keane

Shane and Ruthie almost became a couple when they were much younger. Shane left to go to Australia and Ruthie went to Europe. Years later they are both back in Dublin, and both are doing undercover investigations of the Delaney family. Ruthie is working for a quasi-government agency and needs to complete the assignment to get the money to pay off her brother’s drug debts. Shane is working for his father and needs to complete this final assignment in order to leave the family business and go into business with his cousins. Shane and Ruthie are not aware of the other’s investigation. None of family is aware of either investigation.

Throw in another couple of twists and the families’ relationships aren’t what everyone initially thought.

I’m definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This is the second book in this series and is the story of Shane and Ruthie. Shane was introduced in the first book, and at the end he comes across some information that totally peed him off regarding Lars. When he is sent to go after Ruthie by the mob, he bites off more than he can chew. Shane is Ruthie’s brother’s best friend, and she has had a crush on him since childhood. I admire Ruthie’s attitude to life, as she does what she has to do, no matter how it has to be done. Shane and Ruthie as perfect together.
This book is action packed, and had me on tenterhooks throughout. This author has done an amazing job with this series, and I cannot wait to read more from her. I was captivated and enthralled throughout. I recommend this authors work to all mafia lovers!

Former MMA fighter Ruthie pursues Shane after she returns to Ireland.  Ruthie had been in love with him for years but he hadn't dated her since she was his best friend's sister.  She has been sent to find out what his Dublin mafia family knows about the bombing of their restaurant in Boston five years ago. Ruthie's efforts as a spy are bumbling and not gaining her much information.  Her conscience bothers her but she has agreed to do this to earn a bonus to save her brother's life.

Shane is unaware of her real purpose for coming home.  Their family issues bring them closer together but also threaten to pull them apart.  The story was fast paced and suspenseful and they make a great team when it comes to helping their families.

Shane Delaney, a member of the Triskelion Team, has known Ruthie Reynolds for years.  Ruthie went to live in Switzerland when she went onto the women's MMA circuit but has returned to Ireland because she needs to help her brother pay off his debts before it gets him killed.  Ruthie is working to pay off the debt by spying on the Delaney family for the Jarvis Agency, who wants to know everything the Delaneys know about The Lucky Leprechaun attack in Boston.   Ruthie hopes that by getting close to Shane, she can get enough information for the Jarvis Agency so that she can get paid.
Kiss Shot is action packed and exciting.  It's a lot of suspense with your romance.  I recommend reading Final Target first so that you get the full story.  Enjoyable read, pick it up!

This series is great. It is full of characters that you root for and want to win. The plots are great with lots of action and subplots. These books are hot and steamy, but not too much so.Shane is a muscled tech geek who has always been loyal to his family. Ruthie is a former MMA fighter just trying to hold on to what remains of her family. There are secrets on both sides and a past to overcome. With the family problems they have a rough go of it, but might manage to make it. I love how the series revolves around one family and their community. This is a must read series for fans of action packed romance.

Shane Delaney has a job to do but it involves roughing up an old girlfriend. Ruthie Reynolds is trying to help out her brother but never thought it would mean being around her old boyfriend. Will Shane's emotions get in the way of his job or is he too tough to let it matter?

Ms. Keane does a great job of mixing intrigue & romance. From the moment the book begins, the narrative pulls you in & keeps you on the edge of your seat through the twists & turns the plot takes you on. The characters are three dimensional & realistic. Really enjoyed it!!

This series is a lot of fun, the characters are mostly anti-heros who have a taste for the outlaw. The pace is fast, adventurous and very sexy. I liked Shane and Ruthie a lot since they reconnect after being apart from some time, but always on each other mind. I loved this Dublin adventure and recommend it as well as book 1, Final Target.
