This is a excellent book to read and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The story covers Amelia (aka Lia) Rose Rice a young woman who wants to be a nurse but her father (Mayor Rice) wants her to do business instead. She sneaks out with a friend (Rihanna) and goes to a bar (Off Limits) where she meets Luke Canter who is the ruthless leader of Road Roses. Earlier on one of his lieutenants (Carson) tells him that he has to knock up a chick and start a family, everyone present at the meeting agrees with this. After the meeting they all go to the bar (Off Limits) where he (Luke) notices Lia and decides she will be his tonight. What you will find in this story is drama, suspense, intrigue, a domineering father, a MC leader, a defiant woman, tempting she-devil, approaching Lia, kissing & touching, a bike ride, intimacy, 2mths later, papers served, creased and desist all operations, told of another gangs scouts, thinking of Lia, at his home, a knock, Lia needs to talk to him, unplanned pregnancy from a one night stand, wants help with an abortion, he wants her to stay with him for a week while she decides, surprised, will stay, no clothes, taking her shopping, in dressing room, intimacy, home, bed waking up, Luke missing, messages from father and Luke, going to Luke's shop, cryptic talk with Luke's fellow riders, going to cafe, eating & talking, back at tattoo shop, riders talking, they are happy, home, Lia cooking, intimacy in kitchen, invitation to a cookout, messages, telling Rihanna she's pregnant, wants 5 days to make decision, Luke meeting Mayor Rice, wants Like gone, calling cops, escaping, with Lia, wants to talk, sudden pain, hospital, Luke states he is in for the long haul, father wants abortion scheduled, no keeping baby, Luke arrested, Lia taken home by father, being kept a prisoner, fighting with father about abortion, prisoner transport forced off road by bikes, Luke escaping, father making plans for abortion, need to escape, tying sheets together, almost on ground, arm around waist, hand on mouth, Luke, got to go, father want to abort baby, escaping, driving away, cannot go back, a room, intimacy, declarations of love, 6mths later, a baby girl, a town called Blue Mountain, MC gang follows Luke, open new tattoo shop (Blue Rose), news, father passed away, gave most of inheritance to charity, the rest in collage fund for baby, a proposal, a happy acceptance, lust, love, romance and erotic scenes. I found the story-line to be well thought out and written with enough drama, suspense and intrigue to keep a reader interested. I found the characters well developed with emotional feelings according to the situation they find themselves in. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a interesting MC romance with a happy ending.

I read this book as a bonus following a previously read book by same author and I will say that Ada Stone is now one of my favorites!! Cannot wait to get my hands and eyes on anything else written by her.
Absolutely LOVED Temper!
The storyline was intense, well thought out and well executed. The sex scenes were positively sizzling but without feeling like hardcore porn. Ms. Stone's MC book has won a place in my heart for its superb characters, plot twists, emotional drama and something that actually is pretty realistic. I loved Luke's violent nature but also his prickly sensitive side that was buried underneath of trying to be the perfect President for his bikers and Amelia? She was an amazing surprise with her feisty attitude and love of life and trying to get from under her over protective, overbearing and zealous "image is important" father. Truly, a thrilling ride.

This book has drama, suspense with twists and turns and hot steamy romance. I was hooked from the beginning. Luke is hot and sexy leader of MC. Amelia is sweet and innocent. Luke has a one nightstand with Amelia or so he thinks. Amelia comes knocking on his door with news she's pregnant. How will Luke react? The chemistry between Luke and Amelia is off the charts. They come from different worlds will their differences keep them apart? I enjoyed this story. Received copy for honest review.

I struggled to finish this book. The plot was terrible and nothing exciting happened. The whole concept was she was "forbidden" to see him and her father wanted her to have an abortion. I gathered that much from the description of the book and it was a let down. The MC was not related to the book much except he was in one and they had a rat, which they told who it was from the beginning. I found this book as a disappointment.

I would have given this 5 stars, but the ending seemed very abrupt. I was thinking that once Lia had escaped, we would see her and Luke on the run and was really looking forward to it. But instead everything was quickly wrapped up in the epilogue. It almost seemed like the author got bored and wanted to wrap it all up happily as fast as possible.
I was really interested in the story, but the ending ruined it for me. I'm a little disappointed.

Ada stone, my favorite of your books so far! Loved it . Suspenseful and sexy, my favorite kind of books. This is a must read no cliffhanger.
