The mystery continues! Olive definitely stole the show for me in this issue. This crossover is honestly really making me want to get into Gotham Academy; the characters from that series just seem like a delight. I'm starting to get quite attached to them. I think once I get caught up in the other series I'm working my way through, I might start trying to catch up with that one. That's the great thing about crossover series!
Quizá, quizá la villana no es la verdadera responsable de todo, quizá ella también es una víctima. La historia es muy intrigante pero no tan divertida, igual me tiene muy enganchada, me voy a leer el próximo, para ver en que termina todo este enredo.
Not quite as good as the others in the miniseries. I’m still bugged by the choice of artist. The plot develops more. More of the kids get trapped in the lodge where the woman is holding a bunch of people hostage, only it’s set in the 80’s which is kind of funny. I’ll be interested to see how this turns out.
Amazon Description: The Lumberjanes and Gotham Academy kids split up in an attempt to outsmart the Chaperones.
Is it just me, or was Mal in too many scenes? They make a point of saying she's on the outside, then she shows up inside dressed in 80s garb, and then at the end she's back outside with Kyle not knowing what is going on inside... I think maybe there was a lack of communication somewhere, but it left me really confused for a while and took me out of the story. Unless it's supposed to be someone else with the same unique hairstyle? Anyone else notice?
Wow, GIANT continuity error--there are two Mals! Checked the compiled volume and it's fixed to be April at the party instead. Wonder how many little things like that they fix without mentioning? Guess it can pay to read individual issues as well as the volume editions. (If you dig that kind of stuff.) 😊
