Five Nights in a Haunted Cabin

Rate this book
In 2013, authors Tamara Thorne and Alistair Cross were working on their first collaborative novel and had yet to meet in person. That all changed when they got together to investigate an allegedly haunted cabin in California’s Gold Country.

The cabin’s owner and his family had fled the building on two occasions, beset by anomalies ranging from poltergeist phenomena to a darkly looming apparition. They wanted answers and were referred to author and long-time paranormal investigator Tamara Thorne. She and Alistair Cross decided that a few days and nights in a haunted cabin was the perfect setting for their first face-to-face meeting.

They ended up spending five nights documenting the phenomena inside - and outside - the little log cabin tucked deep in the woods. By turns intrigued and terrorized, Thorne & Cross not only came away with great story ideas, they left the cabin with a new definition of horror.

True Creepy Haunting!

Thoughts:

I am not doing my traditional small backstory with this review as there would be spoilers so going to just give out my thoughts on the story.

This is a true paranormal/haunting tale where the authors, Tamara Thorne and Alistair Cross got together to collaborate on a book and decided to work on the book in a haunted cabin out in the backwoods in California. This was kind of a short book but there was quite a bit of haunting happenings within the story that kept me glued to my kindle!

This book was one creepy story and I love to read about true ghost/paranormal stories. I have read quite a few of them in the last six or seven years. True hauntings always seem to creep me out. From what was told within these pages the story gives off major haunting vibes and everything that both authors experienced brought the visuals of what they were experiencing to life on the pages of the book! Another great book by these authors and this book will be going on my favorites shelf. So if you want to experience the otherworldly side then go check out this book! Giving this story five "Spooky Boo" stars!

The whole story is revealed in the title. It was a quick read and wasn’t particularly good or horrible. Anyone who enjoys ghost hunting or paranormal shows would, for sure, like this.
