Ligia Ortega
14 books51 followersLigia has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. In addition to drawing and painting, she started coloring occasionally for stress relief in the evenings while working a demanding management position several years ago.
Ligia has a few series published. The Coloring Gifts™ book series combines coloring for enjoyment with taking time to pause and reflect about positive things in our busy lives. The Vintage Grayscale Adult Coloring Book series showcase some of her favorite vintage illustrators - their work is lovingly restored and then using a unique process, they are made into grayscale specifically for coloring. The simple series has Kaleidoscope and Mandala books with bold lines and larger spaces - these books are also available as a half size books with simple fun designs that can be finished in one sitting.
In addition to these coloring books, Ligia has also published the Colorist Palette Reference book, a resource for colorists to test new palettes and techniques and to keep a record of color blends and combinations.

This book is a good book to have on hand for days when you can't face coloring a very intricate page that would take days to finish.
With larger spaces, this book gives the advanced colorist room to show off their shading.
The bold lines and large print make the pages very easy to see so it's a good option for people with vision acuity problems and the larger spaces make it easy for beginners or colorists with hand control issues or for colorists with dementia.
With 50 single sided coloring pages, this book is also a great coloring value offering hours of fun for a low price.
