This is the first book in the Trekker series and the world building is good. The story line is adequate. The best character is Ellora, a human who was the sole survivor of a plague that killed her family and the rest of the small settlement on her distant planet. She was 'rescued' and sold into slavery twice. He most recent slave owner is ghastly. He half starves her, beats her for the slightest infraction, provides little or no means of personal sanitation, and is generally disgusting. At least she is not used as a sex slave as she sees many of the other slaves are. The longer she is a slave to Lasio, the greater her debt, until she realizes that she has no hope of ever buying her freedom. She is not a quitter and has even made a few friends among the inhabitants of this planet.

Next, we are introduced to our hero, Nash, a wild Trekker, known for his brawls and fights before he joined the Alliance. He is big and very strong and loyal to the Alliance, now. He is sure that they rescued him before he met an untimely end. He and his fellow Trekkers always complete whatever assignment they are given.

His Commander tells him and a few others to see Lasio because Lasio knows more that he should about the plague decimating many worlds. Lasio is willing to give up the information about the plague, but Nash will have to buy Ellora to get the information as the chip is located next to her heart.

They have several difficulties getting away from Lasio and his planet. Fighting ensues, and Ellora does her part.

Once back on the ship, the Commander is displeased that Nash has brought back a woman. No women are allowed on his ship. The story and the growing romance between Nash and Ellora builds. Danger still lurks on several fronts. Ellora and Nash find that they are true mates. They finally get their HEA at least for now.

Only one sex encounter, and that was rather tepid. The book needed about 50 or more additional pages and at least one more challenge/adventure/danger to overcome... and some additional hot sex scenes. Several beta readers would have picked up on the occasional text errors. I volunteer my services.

Lately I find myself really into SciFi Alien romance. This book doesn't disappoint. Nash is sexy as sin and ends up taking Ellora with him. He was sent out to retrieve a microchip but ended up falling in love with the woman who's carrying it inside her. Great story and I look forward to more. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book.

GREAT CONCEPT, STORYLINE & WORLD BUILDING BUT OTHERWISE, SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTING !!!
Title: Nash: Trekkers
Author: Terra Wolf and Juno Wells
Designation: A SciFi Alien/Human Military Romance Novella, Standalone, No Cliffhanger
Reading Platform: Kindle Unlimited
My Rating: Three Disappointing Stars***
I very seldom rate a book 3 stars or less since I know the author has put their time, effort and hard work into the story but in all honesty, I would have rated this book two stars had I not truly liked the concept, storyline, and world building for this story. I also truly enjoyed the characters who I felt were unique, intriguing as well as engaging. I was totally smitten with the two protagonists of this story, cocky, half human/half Droqo, alien Trekker Nash and beautiful, strong-willed Ellora who was a true heroine. I was completely in awe of her tenacity and fierce determination to survive, despite the harsh treatment she endured through her life as well as the deplorable conditions in which she was forced to live, She was an exceptionally intelligent young woman forced into slavery against her will. And the sexual chemistry between Nash and Ellora was off the charts hot. If the authors decide to edit and republish this story, I will be more than happy to reread the book and revise my review, but until then, it's a no go for me. As I said, the concept, storyline, and world building were entertaining but the lack of editing completely destroyed the book. I'm usually pretty lenient when it comes to a few mistakes but I'm sorry, I simply cannot praise a book with this many grammatical errors. Poor sentence structure, multiple sentence fragments, missing words, missing articles and prepositions, incorrect modifiers and descriptors, wrong pronoun and verb tense, missing punctuation, overuse of the word that were all present in almost every paragraph. (News flash: when you use the word that three times in one sentence, you definitely have a serious problem and need to revise the sentence.) But for me, the worst culprit of all is misidentifying a character. Would someone please tell me who the heck Fred is? I think the author meant it to be Lazio because I found no other reference to Fred in the entire story and yes, I did search. I actually stopped reading to do a search on my Kindle in an attempt to identify this phantom Fred, and it totally disrupted the flow of the story. It was downright frustrating as well as disappointing. I've read other books by both of these authors and know first hand, they are capable of much better work than this. I did read the reviews for this book before choosing it, but I simply cannot agree with the general consensus of the other reviewers. When a book contains so many mistakes that it actually distracts me from the story, it's a deal breaker. When determining a rating for a book, there are several questions I always ask myself. First, did I like this book or did I love it? In this case, I would have to say neither. It was okay and although I was tempted to just stop reading, I didn't. I continued because I truly wanted to know how it would end. Second, would I recommend it? No, I'm sorry but I can't in good conscience recommend this book...or at least not as is. Third, will I read a collaboration between these two authors again? Maybe. And finally, was I entertained? Surprisingly, I was entertained but I expected so much more from Terra Wolf and Juno Wells. Hey folks, please don't shoot the messenger. This story had such great potential but I'm simply being honest. Anyone who has read any of my reviews in the past knows this is not typical for me. It truly pains me to be so brutally honest but this is meant only as constructive criticism. Please believe me when I say, it had to be pretty bad for me to leave a critical review. Please, authors, re-edit this book!

This book was okay. It wasn't the greatest and it started out great. It ended up with nothing resolved. I get frustrated with books like that. This one starts with Ellora getting thrown back into her room because she dumped a drink on a customer. Her boss is going to punish her but he hasn't gotten to it yet. Nash is a Trekker looking for answers to why some one Plain's person has a Confidential file on the plague that is pretty much the book. Like I said okay but not to good.

This is my first book to read by Terra Wolf, but not my first book to read by Juno Wells. There is not doubts as to why a person would want Juno Wells to help write an Alien Romance Novel. Juno is very, very good at it. I will have to say that after reading “Nash: Trekkers” I will definitely look into some more books by Terra Wolf. “Nash” takes you to outer space to worlds that you can only dream about. The book is short and fast past and well written. Terra and Juno grab your attention at the beginning of the book and keep it till the very end. The story line and the character all work into the story line perfectly. There are fights, aliens that half human aliens and nasty aliens, shoot’em ups, a plague, and SEX!!! What is not to want? This book is recommended for mature readers 18 years of age or older.

Nash is a Trekker and he and his comrades always completes their missions. Now that he is a Trekker his life has new meaning. He and his comrade Aevar are sent to the planet surface to find an alien named Lazio about the plague and to retrieve a microchip that may help them find out who started the plague and why? The plague wiped out whole races of aliens and humans. Nash didn’t was totally caught off guard when Lazio told him had to take a female human slave that had the microchip imbedded in her body near her heart, and she was the woman of his dreams as well. Now he needs to know how he can get the microchip, complete his mission, and save the human slave.

Ellora is a human slave whose entire planet is wiped out by the plague. Well, all except her!!! Since she was the only survivor she was sold into slavery. She has been serving other people for years and she wants out. She was not treated good, but better than most of the slaves owned by Lazio because she could speak several languages and helped Lazio to communicate with other aliens. Then she is faced with being sold yet again and to a handsome Trekker who is with the Galatic Alliance, and yet he is very handsome. Can Ellora and Nash solve the mystery behind the chip and the plague? Can Nash keep Ellora safe and alive?

No Spoilers. ARC free book given in exchange for an honest review.

Quick read, interesting world building...

I turn to Juno Wells stories when I want to visit with an exotic Alien species / culture, as time and again she has delivered such interesting species and characters in her stories. I do not recall if I've read Terra Wolf before, but this story had rich world building, in a quick read, with a compelling dilemma.

Nash's straight forward mission turns into more than he was expecting... but along the way he comes face t face with a woman whose internal strength is a match for his muscles.

I was gifted with a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review, and switched to the Kindle Unlimited version when it was published.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This is book 1 in the new Trekkers series and is a stand alone book with a HEA. I recommend this book to all Sci-fi romance readers. Nash is a Trekker for the Alliance and is on a mission and he always completes a mission. Ellora is the only survivor of her planet after the plague sweeps over her planet. Now she is a slave and has no hope of ever being free again until her life and Nash's mission cross paths. Could not put this book down. Loved the story... looking forward to the next book in the series.

This book is worth a try, especially as I feel as these writers’s will expand and improve on the series as they continue the Trekkers series. The story Lin e is unique and for a novella the characters are well fleshed out. Please read and enjoy. There are problems with editing that can and hope improved, such as sentence structure, confusing sentences and descriptions and plain grammar that can be distracting. as I received this as an ARC.

Nash (Trekkers, #1)
by Terra Wolf w/Juno Wells

Great start to a new series.

Enough backstory so I wasn't too lost, but I am always lost at the beginning of a series...;-)

I really liked Nash and Elllora's story.

Looking forward to more of this series.
