Pretty good for a high level introduction for beginners. Doesn't go in depth enough for more seasoned gardeners.

I have made a goal to learn how to garden well. Last year was my first year attempting a full Garden and I lost about half of my crops. Most of that is due to planting in dirt vs. Soil. But this year will be different I've learned to compost my dirt will become more like soil. And I've learned a lot about where and how to plant my vegetables. I'm excited about this new year I can't wait for planting season. I found a lot of good information in this book about how composting doesn't have to be so complicated. The best way to cover your garden in the summer. And how to utilize containers 4 small spaces. Overall a great book with a lot of great information. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a way to improve their Garden.

Not too much new info, but I got a good recipe for potting soil.

Always looking for suggestions for container gardening suggestions for some vegetables, not much luck here though.
