In part useful, but pretty much exclusively focusses on IBS and not a broader focus on digestive health which is why I read it. Limited referencing throughout, which may make it more accessible but no mention of the benefits of a plant based diet, which the research overwhelmingly states is important for gut and digestive health.

Benjamin Brown is a master at simplifying the complex without losing what is important. The personal angle makes it easily relatable. A great resource for practitioners to offer their clients.

I found this book to be extremely interesting in parts and am following through with a lot of the advice. However, I do feel like it could have been edited better as there was some repetition and I got the impression that some of the language was overly expressive and used as a filler. I was also disappointed that it was so heavily focused on IBS as I don't think that was how it was advertised on the site that I purchased from.
