Harland County #8

Her Hell Yeah Cowboy

Rate this book
Years ago, he unknowingly rescued his soulmate, now she’s back in Texas and about to save his guarded heart.

Unlike his twin, Texas National Guardsman Sgt. Logan McCall would rather march barefoot and blindfolded through a cow pasture than date the same woman twice. After an active duty injury during a flood washed away his promising sports career and engagement years ago, Logan guards his heart more than his life until, fresh from deployment, he runs into a friend of the McCoys…literally. Hill Country’s newest resident is hotter than the wing sauce soaking into his shirt.

Mission on.

Graphic designer and carrier of misfortune, Chloe Davis is a danger to herself and those around her, so entertaining thoughts for the sexy cowboy wearing her hot sauce should be a no-no…not a hell yeah—especially considering he’s the guardsman linked to a horrible instance in her past. But when he turns out to be one of her clients, she can no more avoid him than the attraction sizzling between them. Chloe’s back in Texas determined to make a fresh start, and she succeeds in business but fails to resist the handsome soldier’s relentless pursuit.

But when he discovers her past, will he trust his heart or lose her forever?

Hi there. Thank you for checking out my profile.

It’s all my mother’s fault. She read to me when I was little and sparked my imagination. Now, my mind is the limit, and believe me, there’s no limit to my mind.

Hello, I’m Donna Michaels, NYT & USA Today Bestselling Award winning author of Romaginative fiction. I write romance through the H’s—Hot, Humorous, Heartwarming, with strong alpha cowboys and military men who are equally matched by their heroines.

With a husband retired from the military and now working at a brewery, four children, 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, several rescued cats, and my parents living with us, I never run out of material. From short to epic, my books entertain readers across a variety of sub-genres, and one has even been hand drawn into a Japanese Translation. Now, if only I could read it…

I purchased a copy of the short novel Hell Yeah Cowboy {Harland County book 8: Logan: A Sable Hunter Hell Yeah crossover novel by Donna Michaels and this review was given freely.
Branching away from Harland County and the people we have gotten to know and love, this sequel involves the continued match making efforts of the McCalls but focuses on their twin nephews in Kerrville, Texas. Thrown together by the matchmakers, Graphic Designer Chloe and National Guardsman Logan meet again under the guise of marketing extreme sports for couples resulting in 24/7 contact and an easy flowing steamy attraction at first sight romance filled with innuendos, irony, humor, and ending in a teaser for Linc’s story.

I love reading about books where it more than just a second chance story. This story talks about two people, Logan and Chloe who meet when they are younger during a flood. The outcome from that meeting changes both of them. A split second meeting that normally would have gone unnoticed.

However years later they meet again, Logan being completely unaware of who Chloe is. Chloe is caring a lot of guilt over that day and what happened to Logan. There is an immediate spark but she is afraid to tell him that they have met before.

I really liked watching these two characters grow and read the playful banter they had. I also liked the secondary characters, especially Linc.

Soulmates

This is a sweet, simple romance. Chloe thinks she ruined Logan's life years ago. Logan doesn't know they have a past together. They "meet" and start falling for each other but he doesn't know her secret. This continues characters from this series but it's a stand alone with an HEA.

Such a fun read! This story blew away my expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was hooked right from page 1 and absolutely adored Logan and Chloe. Their relationship was fun and it still felt like a slow build even though there was that immediate attraction. Can't wait for Linc's story!

Logan and Chloe's story crosses two families the Hell Yeah Mc'Coys and the Harland McCalls. Loved that characters, great writing, links to the McCoys to catch up, and the whole destiny links is amazing. Off to read next in the series, loved it, couldn't put it down!

Logan McCall and Chloe Davis meet when his dad does a little matchmaking and hires her to do a marketing campaign for their sports equipment company.  He ensures that they get acquainted by asking Logan to teach her how to use the equipment to be in the campaign.  They have a hot and heavy attraction to each other but Chloe is hiding something from him.

This novella is fun and entertaining and the attraction between Logan and Chloe is dynamic.  This was a page turner and a good addition to this Kindle World series.

I don't know what to say, two of my favorite series, Harland County and Hell Yeah!, hot cowboys, military men, and the women who bought those men to their knees. If that wasn't enough, my favorite couple from the Hell Yeah series, Joseph and Cady, made an appearance in this book. Her Hell Yeah Cowboy is the story of Logan McCall and Chloe Davis, he is a National Guardsman, and she is a Graphic Designer, who is kind of clumsy and hazardous to anybody around her. When Cady tells Logan that he will meet his soulmate, he had no idea that he would actually run into her moments later. Although Logan had rescued Chloe years ago, he doesn't remember, but she sure does. But after what happened she is not sure she wants him to remember. Add in the fact that his family, especially his dad is trying to play matchmaker for his son, and you got a little book loaded with humor, passion, romance, misunderstandings, forgiveness, family, friends and love!
Five twinkling stars for this one. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, hot cowboys, sexy military men, family, friends and fun.

Good Story

Enjoyable story with somewhat familiar characters. People in her books nearly come alive. This was almost too quick and to the point.

Donna comes through again with the matchmaking uncle (Alex) and father (AJ) of Logan. Logan saved Chloe's life when she was 14 but was also injured which ruined his baseball career. Chloe has never forgotten him. Logan & Linc are now home for good and stop at Hardbodies on their way home for a drink with buddy Joseph McCoy and wife Cady. Cady can sense that Logan is about to meet his soulmate and shortly after, he actually runs into her and ends up wearing chicken wing sauce on his shirt. Chloe is in town to work on some graphic designs for Avery (Issac's wife and owners of Hardbodies). She's trying to keep under the radar. She blames herself for Logan's injury. Word gets back to AJ and Alex and the matchmaking begins. They fall hard and fast for each other but will Chloe's secret tear them apart? Great Job Donna! This book was given to me for an honest review.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review. I haven't found a book written by Donna Michaels ever. I wish I could read all her books. This one is about Logan and Chloe. They had met years earlier when he saved her. Fast forward we find out the consequences of that time that affected him. Now his parents want him and his brothers married. If you have read any of D. M.'s previous books you know what happens. Well be prepared for lots of laughter and surprise twists and turns. That has everyone rooting for both of the main characters. I tend to laugh through out the book. When I need a positive pick me up this is one of the authors I choose. Can't wait for Linc's story.

Can missed opportunities lead to a second chance of the Heart? Chloe and Logan are dealing with the fall out from heartaches, when their paths crossing at a time when they need each other most. Her Hell Yeah Cowboy is a romance that proves anything is possible, if a person opens the mind and heart to new possibilities. Full of optimism, creativity and lots of drama in a nice little package.

Hell Yeah!: Her Hell Yeah Cowboy by Donna Michaels is a fast paced quick read, perfect for those with little time for reading. Ms Michaels has delivered a well written, smooth read loaded with marvelous characters. Chloe and Logan's story is full of humor, a bit of drama and page curling heat. I enjoyed Her Hell Yeah Cowboy and look forward to my next read by the talented Donna Michaels. Her Hell Yeah Cowboy is book 8 of the Harland County Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

This is a fun and hot read. Logan and Chloe are a fun couple. I enjoyed the foresight of Cady and Logan's acceptance of her prediction with regards to his soul mate. Chloe's will to start her own business, even if it means working with her secret crush, showed strength of mind. Both were willing to look beyond the past toward a future together, especially with their heat. I enjoyed this book and recommend it.

I received a free copy of the story through Candid Book Reviews in exchange for an honest review.

A fantastic book. A well written story. A quick and easy read. It is worth your time and effort. It is another book in the Hell Yeah Kindle World and yes some of Sable Hunters Hell Yeah characters show up. You have matchmakers, twins and someone who " for sees" things. I have read some of Donna Michaels books and this one is just what I have come to expect from her. I encourage each and everyone of you to go get this book, it is a winner.

Matchmakers

So you thought women were the matchmaker oh no Dad's do it. Logan McCall needed a wife, or so papa McCall thought so. So when Cady McCoy tells Logan he'll meet his "soulmate" what's a guy going to do. In walks in Chloe Davis and the hot sauce flies. This is a great crossover book. Brings humor, love,a little sex into this crossover Hell Yeah book. Enjoy!

Oh my!!

This is Donna Michaels, hottest, sexiest, story yet! I loved these characters. They fit perfectly in Sable Hunters "Hell Yeah" Kindle World. But would make a great stand alone. Donna melted both worlds together perfectly. I hope that first time readers become fans of both Donna's "Harland County" series and Sables "Hell Yeah" series.

Amazing

This was a fun and fantastic read. I love both the hell yeah series from Sable Hunter and the Harland County series from Donna Michael. So to have the two series put together in one book was amazing. If you haven't read either one of these series I suggest you get busy and start reading.

So fantastic

I've always loved Donna Michaels books, but adding in some of the people from Sable Hunter's Hell Yeah series and the McCall's just made it so much better. This story took a lot to bring these two soulmates together, but it was breast seeing it happen.

I have loved all of this series except this one. It seemed randomly placed, and the main characters were annoying. I hope the rest of series is better!
