In the finale of the You Put a Move On My Heart series, things spiral out of control. Malaya is coming for Jarvis and Shonte, and she won’t stop until she gets her prize. She is heartless, and has no problem eliminating anyone who stands in her way, even little Javari. Shonte is fed up with Malaya’s shenanigans, and she is out for blood. Will Malaya succeed in pushing Shonte away from Jarvis for good, or will her actions only draw them closer? Jarvis is a changed man, but how far can he be pushed before he finally breaks? Malaya is certified crazy, but has she finally met her match? Find out in this Urban hood tale, filled with drama, death, love, and a lot of bloodshed.
Diamond Johnson has done it again, I tell you this Malaya character got on my last nerve I couldn't believe she actually cut the poor baby hair. Jarvis was BAE how he was handling everything to protect his family, I can say she got what she deserved. I'm glad everything worked out for them and I'm looking forward to La'Shay and Devontez love story. Great read!!!
This book did pick up where part 2 left off. Maylsia is crazy and i was happy to see that she finally gotten what deserve. I was happy to see that Shonte and Jarvis gotten there happy ending. Chad and Ashanti both grew up. I can't wait to read about Lashay and Tez.
Jarvis and Shonte had that unbreakable love. They are truly meant to be together. Jarvis really grew into a great man and he always kept his word to Shonte. Malaya was certified crazy and some of the things she done, had me ready to jump in the story and slap her. Ashanti learned the hard way, the same way you get a man is the way you lose him. I can't wait to read about Tez and Ashanti hopefully they make it. Overall this entire series was 5⭐️, Diamond you out did yourself.
Just like every other series and stories from MS. Johnson where her motto is to always have a deranged, crazy lover of the male character going after his heart and his love, this one went a little bit further with some gruesome and vivid deaths; so that was fun and a tad different. Another big stipulation from MS. Johnson writing is her love of communication, openness, loyalty, no secrets hold, and early on knowing who or what and how are we going to get and deal with her stories, and while this story didn't deviate from that, we did get a little bit more with an issue and discussion or rather understanding of how an lgbt feels with family relations and acceptance as well as outside world. Then we dealt and understood a little bit about mental issues in the black community and how one comes out of prison, get humbled, get right and let God in. So with that said, this was a cute, nice and fun read, where yes Shonte and Jarvis got their happily ever after and financial security. Now La'Shay and Desmontez did some cameo and at the end they were there but I am assuming it's because MS. Johnson will be talking about them soon enough. Man, I feel for Chad and love the fact that Ashonti and Mayalena got the much demanded visits from karma. Now what's going to have with Detective Tony and Davis? 🤔🤔 So again a nice different yet similar series...
Entertaining read for the most part. I was surprised to read about Chad but I still felt like his and Ashanti’s characters weren’t needed. Malaya got off too easy for me, I wanted her to feel the heat especially since Davis and Tony were after her. I think if that angle was used the author could’ve really taken this one to another level.
Great read. This was addictive. I couldn't put it down. Didn't care too much for Chad but Malaya got what she deserved so I'm happy. Great read. Books like Lays chips ma. You WILL read all 3. Lol keep writing. I'm looking for Shay story next.😀
Family a happy and Lordy it was a good time coming...That Malaya was the demon spawn I mean this chick was the devil.... I'm glad she met her match met her in thank you now want to chat I knew something was up with him but I never saw that coming I'm not gonna give the way you got to read it to catch on..... Terrace has finally met his match I can't wait to see with that books develop I'm waiting for that one....... out freaking standing great job sis
Malaya is one crazy heffa. She made Shonte and Jarvis life a living hell knowing he didn't want her. What she did yo Javari made me want to jump in those pages a beat her tail. But payback is a beautiful thing. Karma was definitely a B***, because Chad did a 360 on Ashanti. I didnt see that coming at all. This book is a page turner but so are all of her books. Jarvis did his BS in the past but his love for Shonte was always shown.
Good series! Shay & Tez gonna be a mess but I'm looking forward to read about Tez upbringing. Chad wow wasn't expecting that. Ashanti got what she deserved! Tiffany, Melissa or Malaya, depends on who she's talking too was bat shit crazy. Clearly she should've stayed locked away! Shonte & Jav so cute once they put everything on the table& grew up!
Book two was rushed but this book right here was truly enjoyed . The characters was developed very well . I'm so happy with what happened to Malaya crazy self she got what truly deserved ,I'm so happy how you introduced us to the next book characters I'm already feeling .
Shonte and Jarvis. They maded a cute couple. Lashay was a trip. Malaya was crazy her own mother and sister and nephew. She was in love Jarvis. Chad surprise me with his outcome. Ashanti ask for it and she got it. Devontez and Lashay i can't wait to read their story. I enjoyed all three books. You Put A Move On My Heart1-3
Jarvis and shonte are good but still dealing with Malaya and her true identity being revealed. Malaya is a piece of work and cold hearted. Love shonte and Jarvis relationship. Lashay dating someone in her brothers circles raises flags for him but he let her handle her relationship. Can't wait for their story
Ms. Johnson I read the whole series before writing this review. It goes without saying that my love for the series rates 15 stars, 5 for each part. Your pen game is tight and your passion for writing shows in your books. The plot was on point as well as the storyline, and you gave me life with the character's. Kudos to you for a job well done!!!
THIS BOOK WAS DEFINITELY A PAGE TURNER. THE LOVE THAT SHONTE AND JARVIS HAD FOR EACH OTHER WAS UNBELIEVABLE. ASHANTI AND CHAD HAD ALOT TO LEARN. MALAYA GOT EXACTLY WHAT SHE DESERVED. SHE WENT EXTREMELY TOO FAR WHEN IT CAME TO JARVIS. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT GOES ON WITH LASHAY AND TEZ. ENJOYED THE WHOLE SERIES. DIAMOND HAS DONE IT AGAIN
Yet another banger! Omg I can't! Great job! Loved it from beginning to the end. Everything on point! Not a beat was missed! Waiting for La Shay and Tez's story cuz I'm already loving them. Loved it !
It got crazier and crazier as the pages turned... Malaya was just a pyscho I don't understand how someone can do all that she did smh... Jarvis is my fav along with his crazy wife
I'm sad to see the craziness end but I'm happy that we get another story from it. Mayala was no joke like really but Shonte and Jarvis was time enough for her. This was a good read you won't be disappointed.
I absolutely loved this storyline. It was so realistic hell we can make it a movie. I'm happy of the ending because Lord know Shonte deserved it. She had it rough. Jarvis is the Man
I really enjoyed reading this a lot drama and Malaya was bringing every page the couples got strong Thur the drama well written story was told few surprise did not see but all answered was fill love it
This book was really good. When I say cheating got Jarvis a whole boat load of issues that he probably never in a million years thought that he would encounter. I'm glad they were able to get their revenge and move on. Can't wait for Tez and Lashay's story
I'm Team shonte and jarvis...I love the way the loved each other it shows a man can change if he truly loves u. Jarvis u did that. Malaya got exactly what she deserved!!! ROCKA BYE BABY!!!
This book was a great way to end a series. It was a little graphic in terms of the violence, but I think that Diamond Johnson has definitely delivered a solid ending to this three part saga. All loose ends were tied up, and the ending was pretty satisfying. Malaya was absolutely crazy!!!
