Vincent McDonnell from County Mayo lives near Newmarket County Cork. In 1989, he won the GPA First Fiction Award after being recommended by Graham Greene. Winner of numerous prizes and shortlisted for the RAI Awards, he has been writer-in-residence at many venues and gives workshops and readings throughout Ireland.
I think maybe that this is the first ever book i read as a child. I remember picking it from the bookself in school when i was in 3rd class(i was around 8 or 9ish);then i remember finishing it....but not the actual story am afraid.I remember the cover alright. And i liked it i believe.
