Unfortunately, forever comes with some bumps in the road.

Not everyone is celebrating the couple’s engagement. In fact, one person in particular is dead set on seeing the couple’s happily ever after destroyed. The couple is rocked when Landon is hit with accusations that threaten the perfect life he has built for himself. Despite his incredulity at the false accusations and having to fight for his good name in the court of public opinion, Landon’s main goal is to ensure that Melody is not affected by this. However, instead of feeling protected, Mel is left feeling shut out of a major part of Landon’s life. With this and other major events happening in Mel’s work life, she decides to take matters into her own hands.

This is the follow-up to Landon and Mel's story from the book Love in Paradise found in the Seven Degrees of Alpha Male box set. I really enjoyed this book so much I didn't want to stop until I finished it. The author had the Alpha Male characteristics damn near perfect from jump. Loved how Mel becomes the hero in the end. The author did an awesome job of allowing Mel to have insecurities without going over the top with it. I will definitely be looking for more titles to check out from Ms. Patterson.

suprisingly....it didn't feel like anything was rushed.

I actually loved the way Landon was with Melody.... and also very affectionate and loving he was with her really shined through.

So cute, sweet, just what I needed.

Great read

Yet another one I hated to see come to an end. Landon and melody had a special chemistry from the first time they met and its carried very well through out the book. I would love to see what happens for them next!!!

This is Mel and Landon's story. Landon loves Mel so much that when scandal hits his life he does not want that to touch her. However, in trying to protect her he locks her out of what his happening in his life and causes her to feel excluded. Mel decides to take matters into her own hands since she cannot get through her man to let her help him.

It was a nice easy romantic read. I enjoyed it

It's now 6/10 ... so I started reading this book thinking it had started rather ... abruptly - like I'd missed something. But I was also excited to read a story set with a couple that was already well established. [I've since found out that the "this is how they met and got together" story of Melody and Landon is detailed in TP's 7 Alpha contribution...]

HOWEVER - other than feeling a tad dropped into their relationship/story, I felt there was a lot going on and I wasn't lost - I got a good hold of who Melody and Landon were.
And OOF the storyline with Mel's student - and how she thought Landon is abusive to Mel too because the evil bitch/"ex" out to ... ruin his life.

I just ... OOF. [And you know? That shit is relevant/there ARE women who make false allegations of abuse and such - and it's rough because ... you want to believe victims but OOF. So ... this was not an easy thing to read - or write I'm sure - like OBVIOUSLY we all know Landon is a good guy who would NEVER - and also from the start that this woman is out to get him - and if he doesn't want her she'll burn down his life ... O_O

But ... the police part - that was IMO unrealistic - they'd have gone much har... [oh wait]

So! There aren't really plot holes - that Landon has to be his own best advocate - even with his lawyers and such ... and him basically telling off team management - I actually kinda wanted to see where it went from there/how that panned out ...

It was sexy and fun and I really liked Mel and Landon - and I need to know about their future family :P
[Also I love me some freaking sportsball.]
There were some things that annoyed me though with the like ... "oh she was traumatized so she changed her story" - WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE but like - didn't she go to the hospital or something? Like - isn't THAT a way to prove shit? Landon wasn't even in the country? ... felt like THAT was a big plot hole ...

Anyway I can definitely see myself re-reading this book.

Solid C, maybe C+

[OH OH OH! And the Jeremy cameo. And I LOVED how things resolved - that Mel meets Coral, and Liam too!] And allll the info that Coral gets <3 Badass <3
And it was annoying how Mel just let Landon say "I'm keeping you out of this" - and he's trying to protect her but by not letting her know ANYTHING it's hurting her/making her look dumb and giving her no way to prepare ...
And when she's finally like [well first she takes care of shit] but then she tells Landon like "don't you fucking shut me out" - love that she's mostly willing to go along with what Landon wants/ says but also has no problem saying what's what. <3

What a really lovely romantic pair and an overall feel good story.
[Trigger warnings for assault on multiple levels /ways...]

*I do feel I have to note there were writing/editing issues again/still. :|

This is a cute story, one that leaves you smiling at the end, with a feeling of justice is now served.

I like the plot of this book, but I can't say this is one of my favorite of Tiffany Patterson books, but it's not bad either. But compare to her other books this book don't quite meet the expectations for me.

I like the love scenes between the two, you can really see that they love one another, and nothing and no one was getting in between Landon and Melody.

What I did not like is Melody as a character itself. She really does need a back bone and is very much a push over. There is a part in the book when Landon accuse Melody of something, that she clearly did not do. And instead of her standing up to herself, and ripping him a knew one for the way he spoke to her, and left, she just takes it and blames herself.

This part deff had me like 'Are You F***ing kidding me!!!' this is absolutely BS and he was very much in the wrong. Not only did he not listen to her, but also choose not to believe her in general and demanded she not do it again.

Now I don't know about other females but I for one would not have allow that to happen, or to happen to anyone that get's spoken to like that. Male or female. But instead of him apologizing they end up having sex with one another. There was absolutely no apology from him and his behavior, but mostly her being sorry about her behavior.

[Sigh] I never wanted to slap someone in the head so bad and call them a idiot, and to defend themselves. I do see where he's coming from, with him being so upset about the fact that he going through a lot and she sitting with her ex. But that still doesn't give him the right to do that, and he should at least apologize for the way he reacted to her, and spoken to her.

OR at the very least she should've defended herself a little more rather than crying after him!!!! I was not happy with this at all!!!

But other than this major scene, I do love the fact that Melody came through for her man. And even though he didn't tell her much of anything going on. She tells him that under no circumstances is he to ever lock her out of his life. They were in this together, for better or worse and she will not be place on the side lines while he deals with everything.

This part is my favorite because FINALLY you see some back bone from her! She finally puts her foot down and it's about DAMN TIME!!!

Other than that this book was good to read, and you really do end up seeing how much these two are in it, to win it.

Once again it's an enjoyable book just not one that I would see myself rereading again, compare to her other books which I've had reread multiple times.

Almost a 5 🌟 in my opinion..

I would definitely have given this five stars were it not for the sex scenes which I found a lil too freaky & nauseating especially at that club. Once I began reading the start of the 1st scene I stopped and skipped to the end of it and knew to skip over any others. But the rest of the story is compelling and it was a wonderful surprise running into Coral..Liam..& Jeremy from This is Where I Sleep and My Storm.
The main issues are timely and heartbreaking and dealt with well in this tale. Melody and Landon are a little over the top w/ sappiness but you grow to love them especially when Melody one-upped that skank Mindy. Yes..over all its a fairly gripping story and I finished it in one sitting. Well done!

Forever: A stand-alone interracial romance

Tiffany has another winner. I really enjoyed this story of Landon and Melody. My only issue is I wish I had their full back story. I felt I missed their courtship I n another story but realized this was their story. I loved how crazy he was about her but didn’t like how he attempted to shut her out of those ridiculous accusations. I was delighted to see Coral again. I remember her from her story. She was awesome.
I loved how the two main characters decided to financially support the RAINN organization. There is too much sexual violence in our story and this story handled the subject matter with care and compassion.

Beside every alpha is a strong woman

5 Star Kindle Unlimited Read
Melody and London's story begins in a full length novel titled "Love in Paradise" in the anthology "7 Degrees of Alpha". If you want the back story on how these two found love it's a must read. When an alpha male finds he's being put through the gauntlet he needs a strong women by his side, not behind him. Landon learns this the hard way.
Patterson has built a world that all her characters intertwine. I can't wait to read more from her!

Confused

I'm so confused with this story. What was the point and plot? First why don't Landon hire a private investigator or why didn't Jeremy suggest using scorpion? Why Landon take Melody to that sex club and allow Jeremy to watch them have sex. What was the point? I understand that it was Melody's fantasy, but its just a fantasy. So had Melody said she wanted to have sex with another man, would Landon have fulfilled that fantasy as well. Just a dumb storyline, thank God it was only .99

Forever

I'm so glad I finally came across this book. I came across Landon and Mel's story in the alpha anthology. I always wondered what happened after they got engage. I love how Landon wanted to protect Melody but I also love how she showed him that they were a team and they help each other no matter what. I can't stand either of their exes and they got what they deserve. I'm now interested in Coral and Liam's story. #reccommend

My first book by this author...could have been a GREAT read w/o all the CRUDE language...Mel and Landon were a cute SEXY and funny couple...but Landon was kinda crass...and an ABSOLUTE idiot for not including Mel in the decision make regarding the sticky situation he got CAUGHT UP in...glad Mel saved his BUTT and they found their HEA.

Very nice ending!

I got reacquainted with these two in the 7 Alpha series. I forgot how much I enjoyed that book. I really enjoyed this book and of course enjoy the connections to the other authors books (Hey Coral!) This was a nice HEA.

Excellent read

Loved Landon and Melody. Mindy was a vindictive and miserable person. She and Evan were so consumed by jealousy they were willing to destroy an innocent man life. Great story Ms Patterson.

Romance in marriage

Nice story about loyalty and common sense. Mel was a strong and pragmatic character and Landon’s reactions were to be excepted. Enjoyed the story though there were a few grammatical mistakes.

Good to the last day drop!

Thoroughly enjoyed the story and it’s context. There are a few twists and turns in the story but the chemistry between the two main characters doesn’t waver. This book wishes stories such as this would imitate real life.

When you know you met the right one you just know. But their is always someone that’s jealous or spiteful or vindictive out there to try to break that bond. Mel wasn’t haven’t it. Love this story

Very Cute

Really enjoyed getting acquainted with Mel and Landon. Loved their chemistry, even when Landon was so overbearing. The book was sexy with just enough intrigue to keep you on edge.
Very nice.

Purchased "Forever" directly from the author, Tiffany Patterson at the Jessica Watkin's Urban Lit Fest in Chicago a couple years ago. I enjoyed this romance/erotic story full of action and adventure. Meantime, I plan to read more of her books.

Awesome

This book was fast paced just as I like. I loved the way Mel solved Landon case behind his back because he wouldn’t include her. I got to admit I didn’t see that one coming. Good twist in the drama. Good read..

This is my review and how I see it. This story was awesome. Ms. Patterson, you write some good Alpha male stories and the women who love them complement them is just the right way. To be this book brought about an awareness of an ever increasing problem in our society and I am glad it was addressed.

All Landon [loved him] wants to do is marry the love of his life Melody, but it seems that an ex of his is setting out to keep that from happening. Landon tries to keep this from affecting Melody by trying to keep from out of the situation, which is is very alpha male about. As things keep happening with Landon, Melody is concerned about one of her students and some of her old demons come to light which she shares with Landon.

Melody has to let Landon, know that she is team Landon all the way when she enlist the help of Jeremy (whose story I am ready to read), who enlist the help of the Scorpion aka Coral. It was nice to see her and Liam by the way. Melody put the smack down on her and Landon trouble making exs.

I have the is my 5th book by Tiffany Patterson and it will not be my last.

This is my review and how I see it.

What a brilliantly written fantastic story

I must admit I had to re-read the story about Mel and Landon in 7 Degrees of Alpha, so that I could familiarize myself with their characters and I'm so pleased I did. The love story between Melody and Landon is beautiful and the situation that they had to deal with was sympathetically dealt with and written really well, I could just imagine how Landon felt being accused of something that you didn't do, and his frustration was portrayed t throughout the story, I also liked other characters from Tiffany's previous books making a cameo appearance in the story. The love scenes are intense and wonderful to read...! Brilliantly written story from one of my favourite authors!!

Landon my new book boo

Another great one by Tiffany Patterson! Loved how this story continues where Landon and Melody's story left off in 7Degrees of Alpha and Landon was all alpha! Alpha to the bone, like don't look at, talk to nor get up in my woman's space alpha! Of course our girl Melody put her foot down when she felt like Landon was getting too full of himself with the help of a scorpion. Man, I feel like the story ended to quickly, because I wanted more and more of Landon and Melody's story.
