In Desperate Cowboy Seeks Mail Order Bride to Save Ranch a young woman, Katie from a large family in New York answers Matt's ad for a mail order bride in Colorado. Matt needs a bride by his fast approaching twenty-fifth birthday to meet the requirements in his late grandfather's will.

Katie doesn't arrive as expected and sends Matt a very short telegram that she is in Kansas City. He rides off to find her and does. She is working and he wants her to come with him to Colorado right away so they can be married.

This is a short story that continued in two other books, however the next book isn't on Amazon to get so the series skips to book 3. I always prefer series about one couple to be all in one book so you can read it an not have to miss part of wait for the next episode.

Desperate Cowboy Seeks Mail Order Bide to Save Ranch

Very interesting story. Matthew and his grandmother lived on a fairly large ranch. When his grandfather died, he left stipulations in his will. The main one was Matthew had to be married by his 25 th birthday. Matthew finally de cider to write for a mail order bride. Katie responded to him.after she arrived to meet him, she was undecided. A must read to see how this story turns out.

One of 4 stories

I enjoyed the stories very much, but for one problem they were way to short.I don,t stay awake half the night to read a boring story. In fact if they don't get my attention right off they don't get it.A very clean cut story.

Enjoyed the mail order bride novella. The story itself had a sort of ending. However the story continues on thru several additional books that have to be purchased. Prefer to know ahead of time if the is a 'cliffhanger'.

As far as mail order bride go it’s book was OK. I just wish they would’ve had a little more excitement I love this authors books but I find that usually more exciting than this one.

Good historical romance

If you like mail order brides you will probably like this one. It isn't exactly a standalone book because it really doesn't end but ig is still a good story.

Three stars

This book was quite amateurish. The plot was a pretty standard mail order bride story. I have enjoyed many of those because the characters were interesting. These characters were somewhat one dimensional. This is also not really the whole story. I would have regretted this book if I had paid for it.

The story was so unrealistic even for fiction. Katie was too quick to go along and made Christianity so easy to do like picking out a new dress. Matt was way too worrisome and deceptive. But don't worry Allison quickly forgiven.
