Great book, useful strategies

I read two books on CBT back to back. This was one of them. Unlike the first, this book was better at helping me understand how I can apply different techniques to correct my cognitive distortions. The diagrams used in the book were surprisingly helpful. It became much easier for me to see how I get trapped into a particular way of thinking by replacing the situations with some examples of my own experiences and filling in my actions and emotions. I would highly recommend this book and will continue to go back to it as often as necessary.

This was interesting enough and quite chatty, it was very easy to understand. I would have liked more indepth looks at the techniques as it seemed he blew past them very quickly, and he really needs an editor because I noticed a lot of mistakes!
