“You’re treacherous, Cyan Eous. I carry enough scars on my body and I don’t need internal ones to match.”
Keep to the mission. Discover the truth. Stop thinking about how damn sexy she is and how much of a bastard I feel like now for the flash of pain I saw in her eyes when I left her room. It’s just an act on her part. No woman really wants me. I’m damaged.

Summary: Note for the confused: apparently cyborgs and androids are different things. This confused me at first because I assumed they were similes but actually in this book, cyborgs and androids are on different sides.
Science fiction romance between a human (in a manufactured body) and a cyborg. Those are also different. Cyan is captured by cyborgs and is desperate to prove that she is a friend to them rather than a spy. She is temporarily assigned to Krell in order for him to work out whether she is telling the truth or not. Sexy shenanigans occur, but can Krell ever trust her?
Don't expect literary genius. This is essentially the B movie of books: it ain't pretty, it doesn't have all the linguistic bells and whistles but the sex is good and the ass kicking is fun.
