This was a good Urban Sequal to Book One. Love will sometimes make you do crazy things. There is a lot of love hate relationships going on. If you love someone let them know and if you don't let them go. Beside the grammar errors I am enjoying the series. Easy to relate to the characters and their situations. All I can say is I hope (Jayden is alive) Looking forward to Book Three..
This was an exciting read, I mean I'm surprised that Kia decided to leave Jaden. Keller and Tigga got on my nerves with this back in forth and not hearing each other out, I have a feeling Keller will keep the baby and I hope Jaden be okay but I have a feeling this will bring him and Kia back together. Can't wait for part 3
I am so enjoying this series. As usual there is much drama and keeps you wanting to know what's next. The stuff just got real with dumb Tori and Rich. Grammatical errors continue to plague these novels but the stories are hot! Now on to the final one in this series!
Wow Chenell...how you just going end the book like that!!! I need everybody to be ok. Tigga acting a fool and lord Jaden.....need part 3 like right now.
This is a great story, it picks up where it left off at in the first novel, Keller and Tigga is falling more in love every day, but the insecurities of their past keep them at odds, Tessa Keller's best friend and Tigga sister is trying her luck at love finally if her new man can cut the cord of being a mommas boy, Kia and Jaden are going back & forth with his cheating. Who relationship will last or who will throw in the towel and say enough is enough?
I loved the way the author has brought back previous characters from her books.
Great Story line and the characters we're well developed my only problem is the editing issues. I can't wait for the next book.
Kia about time, standing up & getting yourself together! I think this time apart will help her & Jaden learn what they would & didn't. Jaden gotta push through! Bryce Sr. made me laugh. I'm over Tori, Rich, Leo & Terrell. Tyler my boy, you gonna regret your words dude. Keller been through too much for the extra bs. Tessa is still interesting too me. Always a good read!
This was a good read. Chenell Parker never disappoints me. Even though there was a few errors, none of them took away from the story. Jaden is finally realizing that Kia is dang near finished with his ass. Keller and Tigga are still dealing with Anaya crazy self. Their relationship has some bumps. The ending was a little shocking. Can't wait to see what happens in part 3.
What goes around comes around. Karma will be knocking at your door. It's hard to move forward in a new relationship if you are going to fault them for what your last or past relationship did wrong to you.
Cheating the Past for the Future 2 by Chenell Parker kicks off with high-stakes drama when Tigga rushes to the hospital with Keller after Amari has a seizure—only for all hell to break loose when Rich arrives and drops a bomb: “You are not the father.” From there, tensions explode as Tigga demands DNA tests for all the girls. Meanwhile, Tigga and Keller, having rushed into a relationship while battling insecurities, face an uncertain future. Can their love survive?
We also dive deeper into Tigga and Tessa’s family background, getting a closer look at their grandparents and their crackhead father, Terrell.
Meanwhile, Leo—who cheated on Keller throughout their entire relationship and even fathered a child—somehow still plays the victim after their breakup. But his thirst for revenge? You won’t believe how far he’s willing to go. And then there’s Anaya, feeling sorry for herself and blaming Keller and Tigga for her breakup—even though she cheated on Tigga and had a baby with another man while they were together.
Then there’s Jaden and Kia’s toxic, on-again, off-again relationship. Jaden may love Kia, but he continues to cheat, assuming she’ll always stay. However, things start to shift as Kia begins to realize her worth. We also see a different side of Jaden when he’s around his mom, watching his street persona fade away.
And let’s not forget Tori, who we learned in Cheating the Past for the Future 1 is obsessed with Jaden. She can’t handle rejection, and in this book, we see just how far she’s willing to go to get what she wants.
Tessa, on the other hand, tries to start fresh with Keller’s friend Ryan—but his mama’s-boy tendencies might end the relationship before it even begins.
Of course, Chenell Parker doesn’t disappoint—she brings back fan favorites like Brooklyn, Dominic, Bryce, Candace, Caleb, Brian, Dwight, Pam, Bryce Sr., and Co-Co, while also introducing us to new characters.
Cheating the Past for the Future 2 is packed with drama, betrayal, and jaw-dropping moments that’ll keep you turning pages. If you love messy relationships, deep family dynamics, and characters who’ll have you yelling at your book, this one is a must-read!
Kia found herself and her backbone and finally put herself first. She was a woman fed up and I don't blame her for what she did. I had mad respect for Tigga, but his action and behavior at the end made me a little sour. Applause to Keller for standing her ground and not letting another man mess over her. However, I think that she would regret her decision if she go through with it based off her high emotions. The women finally said enough was enough and took matters into their own hands. I hate what Jaylynn had to witness and now, Jaden's life is hanging in the balance.
Rich is just as dumb as Tori. He was trying so hard to please Anaya that he was willing to do anything. Tori really needed to get over her infatuation because clearly she was doing way too much. I was disappointed in Tigga and Keller because they were both jumping to conclusions instead of talking about the issues in their relationship. Leon's lil ugly ass couldn't take a hint and Tigga should've bodied him and Terrell both. Jaden truly underestimated Kia but it was time for her to focus on herself. The craziness was ongoing and I can't wait to find out what happens in the conclusion.
What a way to end this particular series. Let me tell you all...Mo is 👏🏾not👏🏾the👏🏾one👏🏾to👏🏾play👏🏾with! If their names are Keller and Kia you best believe that you better treat them like fine china. Jaden and Jaylann's father/daughter relationship is so beautiful. Kia had to teach Jaden some hard lessons but to find out who began the cheating thing was a shocker. Keller and Tigga moved fast but there's no time limit on love. CoCo tail was hilarious as usual. Tessa found love and ended kove with a mamas boy. Take a ride with the final chapter of this series. You will enjoy it guarantee.
The drama just keeps on rolling. Tori know she done messed up big this time. I don't know what that looney bin was thinking. Keller know she knkw better too, she needs to stop acting like a baby and face her problems instead of running all the time. Kia better act like she know and get her man.
"Cheating The Future For The Past 2" was better than "The Haves And The Have Nots," season five! Kia finally had enough of Jaden's incessant cheating and bounced! Tigga is on some straight stupid stuff and seems to have lost his mind! Tori has lost her mind, but I think she's going to loose some gray matter when her brains get blown out in part three!😂😂😂
Kept me interested from beginning to end and I loved the character development that exposed why each character behaved how they did and gave insight into their line of thinking. I appreciated that Kia and Kellen were not about to be anybody's fool for their men
I really enjoyed book two. Every thing just seemed to go down hill for each couple. I’m hoping they find their way back to love. I wanna read more about Ryan and Tessa too
I can’t wait to read the conclusion of this series. I hated that Jaden and Kia broke up but he had to learn that his actions had consequences. Tori just signed her death certificate.
Now Tori has went to far. Communication is everything if Keller & Tigga would just stop jumping to conclusions. I can’t believe Kia & Jaden ain’t together. Part 3 gotta be better
I hate Tori how could she do that in font of Jaden’s daughter. Omg I’m so lost for words right now Tigga assuming but got Keller trying to make drastic choices. I know Kia is going to be hurt when she finds out what happened to Jaden. I would love to hear more about Brian.
Everybody has drama going on. Tigga and His trust issues. Jayden cannot do right. Anaya just dumb but I cannot wait yo read this final part though. Good series
So many drama wowww !!!! I am bit disappointed in Keller and Tigga acting all childish , not talking and acting out . I can’t wait to see what happened to Jaden .
The drama that this author brings always keeps you turning the pages. This book definitely had me on edge and I can’t wait for everyone to get what’s coming to them.
