Vegas Valentine Cartel: An Urban Romance

Rate this book
Cree Olsen’s life is pure, unadulterated hell. But in one night, Cree Olsen is dead and Ashley Valentine is born. Escaping her nightmare of a life, Cree, now known as Ashley, is swept up in the allure of Vegas living. That is, until she discovers her new husband, Dalton’s deadly secret.

Having hid his hustle from Ashley for over two years, once Dalton returns to his hometown, he has no choice but to show her the real Dalton Valentine, one of Vegas’ most dangerous kingpins. While he is ready to assume his role as the leader of the Valentine legacy, his family’s cartel, Ashley finds herself sucked into a world she never wanted to be a part of, and against all odds, Dalton puts her before everything; even his new position. When Dalton finds himself fighting for power against a rival cartel, he takes the streets by storm, with Ashley by his side. They’re determined to crush anyone who gets in his way, until his whole camp gets sucked into a vicious turf war. In an effort to hang on to his claim on the streets and uphold the Valentine name, Dalton and Ashley fall into a fight of the death. They quickly learn that there is no honor among thieves, and family can sometimes be worse than strangers.

Amazing read

I have a feeling that a lot of secrets are going to be revealed in part 2. And I can't wait for someone to take out this snack of an uncle, oh and Nikki. As for the new commercial only time will tell. But trust if he has anything to do with D or Trey he can get it also. To be continued.

M. Skye slayed it this book is one of the best books I’ve read this month! Dalton’s and Ashley story had me hooked from the very beginning. I was flustered at what Cree had to tolerate from someone she trusted. Dalton was a great boyfriend, to get someone out of tough situation. Yet secrets that were once hidden between the two begin to surface. Being in a new state empowered them, and yet made things a little rocky. Being a king pin had it perks until someone you call family send you on some wild goose chase. I never suspected how things would play out for Ashley, and Dalton they balanced one another out, and never let nothing or anything intervened with them. With power comes drama, chaos, and bloodshed and disloyalty nonetheless what is one to do when one of your very own is caught up in the crossfire? Having a good heart caused the people in this book a ton of happiness, but also problems. I loved the brother ship Brandon, and Dalton had they were very opposite yet eerily the same but pushed one another to do better. Largo, is more than meets the eye in my opinion he’s behind a lot of things that went on in this book. From my outburst in laughter, tear shed, astonishment, smiles, and more than just further explained that this was an intriguing read. I can’t wait until part two to truly figure out who this mystery woman is, even though I have some assumptions. This is a must read, I’ll recommend to everyone.

Oh My, My, My!

I must admit, the beginning of this book was very hard for me to read ... Creed was still in the midst of her stepfather raping her repeatedly since the age of twelve ... I have come to realize that YOU CANNOT CORRECT, WHAT YOU WILL NOT CONFRONT! It took Dalton to step in and become a saviour to Creed to turn her life around ... this was a true urban romance story that I fell in love with but it was also a crime story unlike any other! You definitely owe it to yourself to read this phenomenal story. It was pleasantly well written and I pray that the author doesn't make me wait too long for the sequel!
I would definitely recommend this book to others for their enjoyment! This was my first experience with this particular author and I was not disappointed! Amazing job M.Skye!

Must read

This is a must read. It held my interest from the very first page. There is plenty of drama, and you don't know who to trust. I despised Largo. He was just too sneaky for me. He was old and miserable and just plain greedy. I really liked Dalton and Ashley together. He was her knight in shining armor. I shed a couple of tears when their son Trey was done the way he was. He was a poor innocent child, and he didn't deserve that. I also hated what happened to Dalton. There has to be more to this story, because there is too much that was left unanswered.

Satisfied Reader

This book was a definite page turner. I had all kinds of emotions going on. My heart went out to Ashley. Dalton came fight on time to save her. Lives were lost and people wasn't who you expected them to be. My heart ached for Trey he didn't deserve that. But I guess it comes with the territory of being attached to a Boss. I loved Brandon and his character. He stood by Ashley side no matter what the consequences were. Ashley turned into a beast and would stop at nothing for revenge.

Great Story!

I took me a while to get into this book. I'm glad I did not give up. I loved this story. I think that Ashley's mom is behind this. I also don't think Dalton is dead. Everyone is going to be in total shock when it all comes out. I believe that Largos has something to do with it too. I need part 2 right a way.
