With fervent determination, she desperately seeks to save countless souls from suffering the repercussions of her choices. But at what cost?

The Dark Knights are on the hunt, slaughtering whole families in their quest to open the Drogue, but when they go after Emma Shaw, Annie sees a chance to atone for her past and save her friend.

Born and raised in Anchorage, M.A. Nichols is a lifelong Alaskan, though she briefly ventured south to get a fancy bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree from Utah State University—neither of which had anything to do with why she became an author, but they kept her alive while launching her publishing career.

As a child she despised reading, but thanks to her mother’s love and persistence, she saw the error of her ways and developed a deep and abiding obsession with books. Currently, she writes sweet historical romance and fantasy, but as a lover of many genres, she plans to explore more in the future.

This was a good addition to the series. With a lot of sequels they seem to not be as good as the first but this one was different. This one I felt in some aspects was even better than the first. I liked how there was more new people to hear from like Braydon or we got to hear more from people we had previously not gotten the chance to hear very much from like Emma in this book. I thought it was interesting to hear things from Braydon's perspective.

It the last book he is portrayed as a snobby self-absorbed merl. In this book it gave us the chance to get to him better and see he isn't as bad as he was made out to be. Like the first one I thought this book was much better than it's original for a lot of the same reasons such as, better writing, it kept my interest better and it left me wanting more. I would definitely recommend reading this book to anyone.

***The Shadow Army Trilogy is an updated version of the Trealtha Series with new titles, new edits, and even some changes to the story itself.***

This series will always have a tender place in my heart. It was the first I ever published and was definitely a big learning experience. It was my first dip into the publishing world and has had a significant impact in my life... so, yeah. I love it.

That said, my first stab at the series wasn't as good as it should have been, so this is my second go of it and is a far better story because of it.

Another great book in this series. The action driven plot made me race to the end so I could figure out what happened. Now, of course, I have to wait until the next book comes out to get more of this story. I like these characters and this story. I think the author did a great job of giving us more of the current story line but introduced a few new twists so it seemed like a new story.

While writing it, I was worried I wouldn't love it as much as The Drogue, but I think this is a much stronger book. I'm excited to see what everyone else thinks!

I absolutely LOVED this book. I personally thought this one was better than the first book. I liked how Emma was surprisingly able to take care of herself as she was on the run from the dark knights. I also liked how we were able to learn more about Emma in this book. I also liked it when the story was being told from Braydon's point of view.
When it was being told from his point of view I always feel sorry for him and the rest of his family because of how they don't know about Porter being a dark knight. My liking to Annie has grown as I read this book . My favorite part in this book was when Cait was telling Annie about Her and her sisters powers. So all in all I thought that this was a great book.
