USA Today bestselling author Jami Davenport writes sexy contemporary, new adult, and sports romances, including Gone Missing, Seattle Sockeyes, and The Scoring Series.
Jami lives on a small farm near Puget Sound with her Army Ranger-turned-plumber husband, a Newfoundland drool monster, and a prince disguised as an orange tabby cat.
Jami worked in IT for years and is also a former high school business teacher but recently achieved a life-long dream of being a full-time author. A horse lover since birth, Jami showed dressage horses for over thirty years. Now she gardens and goes glamping, along with other travelling adventures. She's a lifetime Seahawks and Mariners fan, and has season tickets to the Seattle Kraken hockey team. She still misses her SuperSonics.
An avid boater, Jami has spent countless hours in the San Juan Islands, a common setting in her books. In her opinion, it's the most beautiful place on earth.
I really liked this trilogy. The ladies are smart, sexy & good looking. ...which we all aim to be. The men are men. Strong, lean, successful & hot. Don't we all wish we were one or the other! Hockey is the back story which also keeps the books moving happily along.
I really enjoy this author's writing. Reading all 3 stories back to back was fantastic. Having my nose in my reader for days was a bit ruff on the chores but I enjoyed every minute of it. My favorite of the 3 was probably Cooper & Izzy's. Probably because I enjoyed the writing on Riley. I cant wait to read more.
I love all things sports related, and have been one of the many fans waiting for an NHL hockey team to come to Seattle. This is exactly what I picture happening. Jami is a masterful storyteller, and she knows her sport. Everything about this series is what I've been looking for.
This box set has it all. Chemistry, drama, passion and lots of ice. These stories leave you wanting more and more! The writing style is great. The way each separate story comes together is brilliant but the way they all intertwine is pure perfection! I cannot wait to get the other books in the series.
What's not to like about two sexy alpha hotties. A daredevil risky adventure, a little love and tenderness from the alphas to go along with the sexy bodies and the divergency of the trio factor. Pretty hot!
I loved getting to know the Sockeyes, and how each character's flaws shaped their story. As I briefly lived in Seattle, I loved all the references and truly believe in the dedicated fans. Looking forward to Emma's story next!
The books were well written, the characters believable, romantic scenes just hot enough. I read all three without time between so there was continuity. I will be reading more of Me Davenport's books.
Even though there was a little too much explicit sex in these books, the story was interesting enough that I did enjoy all three books. I would recommend this book, especially if you're a hockey fan!
I had read the first book previously, rated it two stars, and somehow couldn't get into the story of the second book, so I just stopped reading. Maybe I give it another try later, but I think a story should catch the reader's attention on the first fifty pages.
Sports romances are one of my favorite genres. These books are all great reads. Each one has a good balance of romance and drama with strong characters and good story building.
All three of these guys think they are tough. When they meet their ladies. They find that they do have a softer side. And they find they like it. As well as their ladies do
I love hockey which means I am automatically in love with a good hockey book. Davenport does a good job, from what I know, of portraying hockey the game and hockey the lifestyle.
Loved the series from Ethan and Lauren to Cooper and Izzy, and I especially enjoyed Isaac and Avery. They all had differences to overcome, but all found love in the end.
I’m not usually a sports romance reader but I really enjoyed these books which are standalone but also feature characters from previous books. Highly recommend.
Great players, and strong women bring the three stories together but it also shows the ups and downs each person has to go through to find that happiness.
I'm not a fan of athletic books, but if I do say so now....this book knocked me down a peg or ten. Great word building. Great storyline. Loved it. I so recommend it
I really enjoyed reading this series. Jamie provides an interesting story with couples having obstacles to overcome before true love happens. I liked the hockey background and the fact that all three stories in this series had a happy ending. I can't wait to read more of this author's stories. Read this series if you like romance stories. You won't regret it.
Delightfully written. Wounded characters that find love without searching. Dramatic and passionate. The angst keeps this book moving and interesting. Delightful series.
