Being the healer of the wolf pack is a very fulfilling life, one that keeps Deborah busy from sunup until late at night. She’s always felt content and loved, even though she lost her mate eight years ago and her 12-year-old son has become rude and troublesome. Then gorgeous bachelor Jed begins to pay special attention to her, and she begins to ask herself if there truly is something missing from her life—if it’s possible to find another mate she’ll love as deeply as the one she lost.
I haven’t read this author before but I found I enjoyed her writing. Deborah lost her mate and left her with a young son to raise who is full of anger. Jed has always admired Deborah but being a widow wolf and a healer made her cautious about attraction to any others. When the Alpha of the pack tells them to visit with the gods to find the answers they both are left confused. I think Jed was my favorite because he truly wanted to find a mate and be the kind of man he could be proud of.
Although this was good with the exception of a few grammatical errors, I think I liked Luca's story just a little better. The other thing, and maybe I read it wrong but didn't it say she didn't have a cycle anymore. How is she pregnant?????
I received a complementary copy for a honest review. As with the other books in this series, I loved reading this as well. Following Jed and Deborah's story as they find the chance at a love that would heal her, her son and help the pack.
