This book was recommended to me by the lovely Shin Mon.
As my first Yaoi romance, erotica as it was in this book, I don't really know the nuances to it, so i'm a poor judge. Having said that, the author was right in saying this book was filthy, because it really was. It was sex,sex, and some more sex, exactly what you'd expect in a menage a quatre.
The ending was cute.

I'm not rating it because I don't usually read Yaoi and it wouldn't be fair for me to throw a rating out there when it's not my usual genre. And honestly, I don't think I could come up with a rating for this if I tried.
This book is nothing but sex.
I mean, lots and lots of sex.

Akimi and Endo, both Japanese, meet in Paris. After a whirlwind courtship (a week) they get married and move to Endo's home in Japan. Endo's father and sons also live with him. Poor Akimi just wants the family to love him. Sadly, they're rude and make a point in leaving the room when he walks in. He does everything imaginable to try to please them. He cooks nice meals. He cleans. He tries to engage them in conversation. Nothing works. When Endo goes on a business trip to America Akimi's at his wits end. He calls his husband on a video chat and cries his eyes out because his family doesn't love him. Endo assures his young hubby that he is loved by his family. After reassuring Akimi, Endo hangs up and calls his father and sons. It turns out that they do love Akimi. They just love him too much and have a hard time keeping their hands (and other body parts) away from him. After being given the go-ahead by Endo, they prove to the young man exactly how much they love him.
I cringed a lot while reading this because holy hell, poor Akimi. He was taken by all three of the men in just about every way you can imagine at once. When it was over and he was hurting he was taken again. There was even double penetration a couple of times. I'd say poor guy but he got off on it. Boy, did he get off on it.
The story was entertaining. I laughed a lot and I know it probably wasn't meant to be funny. The quotes, though. :) I'll add some at the bottom of this review and just leave it at that. Also, make sure you check out other reviews that have listed even more quotes that I'm not adding to this review.
It needs to be noted that while the father, son, and grandsons don't necessary do anything to each other, things are done with each other and body parts and fluids do touch. These are blood relatives so if you're squicked out by that don't read the book.
If you're into nothing but sex, sex, and more sex - a lot of it painful sex - you might enjoy this. If not, skip it. While I enjoyed the story well enough I admit to skimming a lot, especially toward the end. It was just way too much sex. I know, right? :)
It has a little twist at the end that added to the story somewhat. I think I saw that coming early on.

It could also be read as a bit of a sci-fi with almost identical clones and the ending is a bit out there in terms of the coincidence of another three identical men arriving to slot into this unusual family set up but overall this is a well written piece of erotic literature which may not appeal to all.
