He knows just how to make her forget her fear of flying...a new sexy story from USA TODAY bestselling author Jennifer Blackwood...

As an Air Marshal, I have two rules: keep everyone safe and always remain professional. But when I take a seat next to the hot blonde in 7B, I can only promise one of those things.

Abby Winters and her uptight librarian attire are more than a little distracting. And when she grabs onto me during turbulence--all bets are off.

A mile-high hookup is great, but what happens when we land and neither one of us wants to walk away...

A plane, some turbulence, a sexy stranger and a blanket. What more can you ask for on a flight to New York.

description

With likeable characters who have an off-the-charts chemistry, Jennifer Blackwood wastes no time when it comes to setting the pace in Landing the Air Marshal. I have to admit I was a tad wary going in because the books I've read from her in the past haven't worked out that well for me, but this one did; Abby and Gage were completely likeable, witty, honest and relatable and, with the right blend of kinkiness and sweetness, their journey was low on the angst but high on the sexy.

description

It didn't hold any huge surprises, but I appreciated how Jennifer portrayed these characters and gave you enough to wonder how two career-focussed individuals living in entirely different states could make anything more than a few days last and find their HEA. All in all an enjoyable, easy, sexy, romantic read that opens the Snowpocalypse series well.

Landing the Air Marshal was a quick, fun, steamy read.

I'm a big fan of author Jennifer Blackwood's writing and once again she's delivered a well written romance with memorable characters that will entertain you from the first page until the last.
I really enjoyed watching Abby and Gage's relationship develop, they had a strong connection and their chemistry was off the charts. I loved how they were able to find a balance between work and being together and not having to sacrifice one for the other.

Landing the Air Marshal was a very good read and a great start to the Snowpocalypse series.

Landing The Air Marshal by Jennifer Blackwood will have readers flying high and wishing for their own sexy dirty talking Air Marshal. Blackwood has definitely turned up the heat as she explores a sexy fantasy turned reality for one nervous passenger.

photo 23c66d6690d08e0b52fe323d42b2f8_zpsf8y7qitu.gif “Well, sweetheart, I don’t do candles and slow jams, but I sure as hell won’t stop until my name comes out of that pretty little mouth.”

Abby Winters loathes flying. She is a nervous wreck before takeoff and landing but her job as movie set scout has her flying all over the country. As Abby is about to fly to New York for a location film site, her flight got a whole lot entertaining when she meets Gage Michaels. Instantly there is an electric buzz circulating in the cabin as Gage entices Abby to a little fingering and orgasmic bliss. As Abby comes down from her high, she does something so unexpected. She invites Gage for a one night stand. No strings attached. Just pure unadulterated sex with a little kink. What Abby didn’t expect was to have her world rocked by Gage. As he was in tune with her body, Gage explored and played her body like no other. He opened Abby sexually to a whole new side where spanking and having sex in public only added and heighten to their sexual adventure. But as Gage and Abby only planned to have only one night, a snowstorm causes them to spend more time with each other. As they not only explored their sexual desires with one another, they soon found themselves questioning if they were meant to have each other in their lives. But what happens when Gage has to go back to work in the east coast and Abby has to go back to her life in Los Angeles? Can these two find a way to make a long distance relationship work? Or will they find their relationship experiencing unwanted turbulence?

photo 23c66d6690d08e0b52fe323d42b2f8_zpsf8y7qitu.gif “I keep thinking every time I’m with you is going to be the time when I’ve had enough— that I’ve had my fill—but it’s the exact opposite. I need you, Abby.”

A sexy, sizzling romance that easily blends passion, sexual kink, and new beginnings. Blackwood sophisticatedly writes a romance that has heart and steam in such an entertaining manner that there was nothing bumpy about this romantic love story, only smooth sailings! So if you are ready to buckle up and fly high with with a sexy Air Marshall that has a penchant for primal and uncut sex then I suggest you better one-click Landing The Air Marshal.

I love Jen Blackwood, so jumped when I got an email from the publisher asking if I could review this book for her.

Landing The Air Marshal starts out fun and sexy, with Abby and Gage as seat mates, but then turns into a whirlwind weekend in a luxurious penthouse with a dirty talking, sweet southern guy.

I'll just stop right now, that's all you really need to know. ;)
Gage Michaels = yes, please.

I'm not sure exactly what I expected from this book. Hot, yes. Intriguing, yes. Well paced, yes. But I was also hoping for perhaps a tad more substance. It's short and reads generally quickly, but the entire story is the two days together, mostly consisting of sex. It's more erotic than romance in my opinion, more steam than sweet. I usually like a nice balance in my reads but this seemed more one sided.

This story reads well and was a delight; I'll always recommend Jen's work! My personal fav being The Rule Book, for those who are interested. This one in particular is nice and steamy, so fasten your seat belts and keep your tray tables and seat backs in the full upright and stowed positions, it'll be a fun ride!

Looking for something quick and dirty? Perhaps a tall, strapping, commanding Air Marshal and a control freak Hollywood set scout just begging for someone to make her lose control?

This is your book.

Seriously.

I read this in under 24 hours. It's a light, easy read—loaded with fun, adventurous, steamy hot sexy times, and punctuated with tender, heartfelt moments.

It moves quickly. So there's an insta-connection that took me a little bit to warm up to. My brain is just not wired that way. I don't disagree with it on principle, but when things move that quickly it sometimes takes a little time for my heart to jump on board. And this is a relatively short book, so there's a lot happening in a short amount of time. But rest assured, there's enough sweetness sprinkled into all the hot, hot sexy times that I couldn't help but cheer for Gage and Abby while they worked through their situation and towards a happy ending (err...real and euphemistically).

Landing the Air Marshal was like a spicy, sizzling treat for my heart (and my libido) and, while it took me a minute to warm up to the story, in the end I devoured it with enthusiasm. ~ Shelly, 4 stars

CONFESSION: The first thing out my mouth when I read the last word was ... nooooooooooooooo , the my brain said ..... let's read it again!!

This book is gonna fly by when you decide to read it ... and decide you must! The story literally takes place in the span of a couple of days LOL and it's FULL of steam. Obviously, this is a sexually driven story. There is insta everything going on in this book, and it's done right! I never once felt like connections were lacking or that I was just reading a #sexfest (which in actually I kinda was lol). What made the story fly for my where the characters. Abby and Gage were just perfectly matched. They were likeable and fun and really really amusing together and obvs ... HOT HOT HOT!

I loved the pace of the story, the characterization and even the time span. It just all felt right. This one gets a really strong rec from me :)

This was a good and sexy read that had me laughing at the very beginning, but by the end, I was a tad bit disappointed. I was SO excited when the author had me laughing my ass of in the very first chapter. I had high hopes from there, but the laughter didn't continue on, which was a bit of a bummer. Our U.S. Air Marshal, Gage Michaels, was a SEXY beast, and his dirty talk was delicious. Abby was sassy, smart, independent, and quick as a whip. These two together was fantastic fun. But the END! I wanted, no, I needed more. I feel like the Epilogue wasn't really an epilogue. I needed more completion between these two. What happens next? I just wasn't as content as I wanted to be for two characters that I really liked. LANDING THE AIR MARSHAL had so much promise and Jennifer Blackwood is a 'new to me' author that did pique my interest in the beginning. I'm not cutting this author out all together, there was a solid romance here, it just lacked the follow-thru. I might be tempted to pick up more of the series if it continues.

When Abby, a confirmed anxious flyer clutches the arm of her fellow passenger, a handsome off -duty Air Marshal named Gage, it's the start of a beautiful friendship. Nope, just kidding! It's the start of a steamy affair! Well, that leads eventually to a relationship and friendship of course, but there's no denying it's the sexual attraction that starts things off as they connect. First on the plane, then in the penthouse suite Abby is scouting out as part of her Hollywood movie set job. When a weekend blizzard strands them for more than just one night, they make the most of their time together. The problem is that they live on opposite ends of the country. Abby makes her home in California and Gage's family is in South Carolina. But both of them travel all the time, and it's just a fluke that they ended up on the same plane together. After the weekend together, it's Gage who pulls away, realizing he's falling for the woman with whom he was only supposed to have a one (or two) night stand. I didn't know how they could possibly get their happy ending, but the author pulls it off smoothly in a believable way for this couple. 4 stars for a steamy, fun story with very likable characters who are smart enough to know a good thing when they find it.

I love to review romances that you know are going to be good just by reading the synopsis. This new release has all of the indicators of a spicy, yet lighthearted romance with plenty of hot steamy scenes. I'm excited to say that the author nailed it with this sweet read.

With a unique story line and some great character development, we are invited to get to know Abby and Gage. From the beginning of the book where they meet and all the way through the ending, where you just were not sure you would get an HEA, I was able to connect with the characters. And the author did not miss it when it came to steamy sex scenes either. It is everything you anticipate and more. While you do get some insta-love, it is totally warranted and so worth the read.

Even though this was a quick read, it was interesting, compelling, and the ending brought a smile to my face.

I really liked this book, obviously, I gave it 5 stars. In a lot of ways, this is different than the normal titles in this line, and this is part of the reason. It has a lot of depth for a shorter novel, a lot of characterization, and a lot of authenticity that drew me in.

Gage and Abby are real. You relate to them, to their questioning if what they have is real. To them questioning if you can develop an intense attraction to someone in just a couple of days. There are some elements of it that are a little predictable, as there are certain things that just have to happen in a romance...but what I loved is that instead of tossing these in, I Jennifer Blackwood let them face them head on...was their romance insane? They addressed it, instead of just letting it be a cliche. Do they get snowed in? Yes...but, it is addressed, it is something they are glad about.

It was a fresh take on a story that had been maybe told before, and I loved that about it.

I also loved that the HEA left some gaps. Do you know exactly how they will pull theirs off? No. YOu have an idea, and you believe they will, but you don't know the how. And, to me, this is what I loved...the parts you expect to be not fully dealt with are, and those that are usually tied up neatly are left just a little open.

This was refreshing, and really really good.

You can definitely see the author’s very real fear of flying in her descriptions of her heroine’s fears in this steamy romance. It is engaging from the start, with Abby’s worst fears being brought to the fore by the pilot announcing they’re about to have a turbulent flight. Abby is really ocd, making lists about every aspect of her life. She’s off to New York to stay in a penthouse suite and take lots of photos of it as part of her research for a film set. Her initial encounters with the hot, off duty, Air Marshal, Gage Michaels, are hilarious - get ready for laugh out loud moments as she grabs him in panic . . . but then things take a turn for the steamy hot as he helps distract her - with the help of a blanket! The chemistry is so hot they decide to spend the night together . . . and get snow stranded.

This certainly lives up to its Brazen tag, having a plethora of descriptions of sexual antics but there is also a great story concerning a career orientated woman and a family orientated man - and his niece who is another great character in the story. The ending is just so right for this story! So, if you enjoy a highly volatile romance with many scenes of a sexual nature in a well written story, you’ll probably love this start to a new series.

I was gifted a copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Synopsis:
It was meant to be a one-night stand. One wicked night with an irresistibly sexy passenger. That’s all Air Marshal Gage Michaels can afford–his career comes before everything else. Too bad the snowpocalpyse of the century has different plans for him and Abby Winters. Before the night’s over, they find themselves snowed in at the most luxurious hotel in the city.Abby’s scouting job of a NYC penthouse should be quick, simple, and definitely shouldn’t include a sexy-as-hell man messing up the 3000 count sheets that will be featured in her company’s next blockbuster hit. Not when she’s up for a promotion that could skyrocket her entire career in the film industry. Still, she can’t refuse what the weather gods so obviously want her to have. She’ll give in, just this once.

Leaving is tougher than either of them could have imagined. But they’re two people who have nothing in common, living on opposite coasts. There’s no way they can ever be together. Right?

A few months ago I read my first Jennifer Blackwood, The Rule Book, and I loved it so when I was given the opportunity to read and review Landing the Air Marshal I knew I had to do it. Good thing I did because I really enjoyed this book.

Landing the Air Marshal is different from The Rule Book in a lot of aspects and I loved it for it. I know I really enjoyed that one but I love when authors can still write different stories. First of all, one of my big “problems” with The Rule Book (which is not a problem at all) was that it was too tame. It was one of those books that had a lot of potential to be super hot but it wasn’t. Well, let me tell you that this one was the complete opposite and I loved it. I could have a lot of problems with this book because of that and because sometimes it’s too much but in this case it wasn’t and the chemistry between the characters helped a lot in this. So, if you want to read this book keep in mind that it has mature content and you might not feel that comfortable about it.

I really liked the characters in Landing the Air Marshal. Both Abby and Gage were too career-minded. They both put their career first for different reasons but it doesn’t mean that they don’t care about their families too, especially Gage. Because of this none of them has the time to be in a relationship. One of the things I really liked in this book was seeing how their relationship develop and them trying to figure out how that could fit on their lives because not only they put their careers first but also because they lived in opposite coasts. Here’s the thing, the book is mostly set in two days so you would think that it would have a big case of instalove. It doesn’t and I loved it for it. Yes, there is a big case of instalust but that’s it. By the end of those two days Abby and Gage feel like they need each other but they don’t feel that they love each other which is great because how could they love each other after two days? As I said before I really liked to see their relationship develop because the two days together were not only about sex, they talked about their lives and dreams and I loved it. I also really liked the side characters. Also, can we talk about how cool and fierce Abby is?? That girl won’t take any sh*t from no one and won’t accept to be treated like anything less than she is (unless she’s on a plane). I LOVED IT. They were not that important but I loved them anyway, especially Abby’s sister and Gage’s little niece. I would read a book about Abby’s sister, Ella. That’s a story that has a lot of potential :P.

This book is super fast to read and flew nicely. Once again I really liked Jennifer Blackwood’s writing style and I really liked that this book had a dual POV because it wouldn’t have been the same if it didn’t have Gage’s perspective on the whole thing.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read. I really enjoyed this one and if you’re in need of a romance you should give this one a try because you won’t get disappointed.

I contemplated several times to DNF this book, but had eventually persisted, after skipping and skimming through chapters and paragraphs.

This book didn't managed to hold my attention and I generally find the Hero highly unlikable. Reasons are:

1. There is a fine line between alpha dominating hero and a douche, and sadly I found the hero to be an unlikable duchey ass.

2. Hero and Heroine had an one night stand, he sneak off the next morning without saying goodbye and without leaving a note. He left the hotel and realized the city was snowed in, there is noway he can get out of the city, so he bought coffee and went back to the heroine. When he showed up at the heroine's door, he offered her coffee, all smirk and smile and made it looked like he was not meant to sneak off........seriously! That is a douchey move in my book....

3. After the hero and heroine's dirty weekend together, he sneaked off early in the morning again without saying goodbye....he did leave a note but didn't offer his numbers and just like that he left...which left the heroine devastated........Sigh! That is a really douchey move in my book. He could have had say his goodbye the night before, that he needs to get up early to catch a very earliy flight and not wanting to wake her blah blah, instead, he had sex with her and sneak off in the morning....again.

4. In order for the story to proceed, the hero changed his mind about not wanting to date the heroine properly, so he tracked her down, broke into her house, filled it with flower and a bed filled with four-leaf clovers. Ok! This is where I have a serious problem with this book, I must admit I am a nerd, and I like stories to make sense, so I googled. and according to the internet, the estimated statistical odds of finding a four-leaf clover on your first try is 10,000 to 1, and the odds became increasing harder if you are trying to find a second four-leaf clover. So it is almost impossible for the hero to find enough four-leaf clovers to fill a bed....

5. After the heroine arrived from work, finding her house broken into and found it filled with flowers and clovers, she found the hero lying on her bed watching TV....after a limited amount of love declaration and too little groveling, heroine forgave him.... I would like to see more groveling and sincere apologies for his douchey actions, but no, he didn't really apologise for them.

6. Tepid sex scene.

I just realize I was ranting about this book......sorry about that. This book gets on my nerdy nerves.....I am sure plenty of readers will find this book enjoyable, sorry this isn't my cup of tea.

Imagine this, meeting a stranger on a plane and having a wild fling. Many fantasize about this; I'm sure, and those lucky enough to experience I'm certain would have some amazing stories. Landing The Air Marshall puts that onto the pages, and leaves you wanting you to buy a airline ticket and find yourself sitting next to a handsome stranger.

Abby is afraid of flying, and unfortunately her job requires the travel. So on a flight to New York City the handsome man next to her named Gage helps alleviate her fears. A little flirting, leads to some touching, and some other things. Just use your imagination. Then the realization that they are staying in the same hotel, well is perfect for a one-night stand. Abby throws her inhibition aside and goes for it. Telling herself it's just one night, and they won't have to ever see one another again. Fate comes knocking in the form of a gigantic snowstorm, and now Abby and Gage are stuck together, which isn't a bad thing at all. It's actually perfect since they didn't get the fill of each other. Feelings develop fast, and the threat of moving on is a lot for the two to handle.

Two people who meet and connect in the air only to discover that fate may have just thrown them a bone, to discover that parting truly is such sweet sorrow.. This story is unique, sensual, and sweet. Two people who have no idea what they are getting themselves into, but also can't stop the onslaught of desire each one brings out in the other. A wonderful book to fall in love with.

If you are looking for something to let your imagination run wild, then I would recommend giving this one your full attention. Jennifer Blackwood did an amazing job turning a fantasy into a book reality. I'm so happy I got the chance to read this one. I'm looking forward to more of her books.

Reality check - Seat 7B.
First off, having known several Air Marshals (none of them intimately), I can say with brutal honesty I have never met any that met the specs set forth by Gage Michaels. NOT. ONE. But hey... im not Abby Winters either, so tit-for-tat there. This story, much like the others in the Brazen line, starts off steamy and goes straight to BLAZE! (yeah baby!) They live on opposite coasts and meet on a plane, where the dirty starts and continues on to her hotel where she is staying for the night. What better way to spend it than with the outrageously sexy Air Marshal who got you off on the flight? Its just for fun and only one night and then you can both be on your merry way. Only the Snowpocalypse has other plans for this couple. Plans that involve them spending lots of time together and getting to know one another, inside and outside of bed.
For a short book the characters are well developed and so is the story line. Not a great deal of drama or angst but just the right balance of sweet and hot. Jennifer Blackwood really starts this series off with a literal bang and I am very excited to read the next installment in the Snowpocalypse series!

Gage Michaels and Abby Winters meet in first class when they end up on the same flight. They have an instant attraction to one another which leads to some no strings one night of hot sex. Mother nature has other plans though which leads to that one night being extended. Living on opposite sides of the country from one another and with both having extremely busy jobs, nothing beyond that short period of time with one another would ever work. Walking away is hard especially when no contact details are exchanged so can a proper relationship with love even come into the equation?

If your looking for something easy to read that's quite dirrrrtyyyyy and with a bit of an original story line then this is the book for you. The characters are mature, witty, strong minded and very likeable. There is no major angst or destruction in this story which leaves it light and quick to read. This story is one of those with a bit of insta-love which doesn't bother me in the slightest. Jennifer Blackwoodis quickly rising to the higher levels of my go to authors, her books are fast flowing and perfect for that needed at times lighter read. I can't wait to see what Jennifer has in store for us next.

Loved, loved, loved! It's panty melting hot and funny, with a yummy dirty talking air marshal to keep things lively. Abby with her fear of flying and hilarious inner dialogues made her one of the most entertaining female characters I've seen in a while. The chemistry between Abby and Gage is off the charts. These two being snowbound for the weekend could lead to some very interesting times!!

This is one you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.

Ok....this was 5 🌟 worthy BUT I JUST COULD NOT GET OVER HOW AWFUL THE NARRATOR WAS and basically ruined the story for me. UGHHHHHHH!!!!
The story line was good....far fetched but good. The narrator basically made me hate the male character only because she made the sexy southern man sound like a slow freaking idiot that could not function. Horrible. The female voice was very blah and not expressive at all. No emotion what so ever.
I had the second book checked out before I started this one and I actually returned it because it had the same narrator.

2.5 Stars for me! (rounded up to 3)
My rating range of this story... 1.5 - 3.5 Stars
If significant, why? The last hour is mostly angst!
Biggest deduction? 1 Star - tons of repetition of negative thoughts, It is only a one-night stand, then followed by nearly an hour of debilitating angst.

Is this a multi-part story? 2 parts
Does it end in a cliffhanger? No
Genre(s) : Romance
Instalove? Instalust first, Instalove in 36 hours
Do the MCs act like: HS, YA, NA or Adult: YA
Was cheating involved? No
Any major triggers to be aware of? No
Listening Speed? 1.25

Main Character Ratings...
H (Gage) = 6/10
h (Abby) = 7/10
TSTL Moment(s)? The H - twice

Narrator Rating(s)
M () = n/a
F (Lynzi Lawson) = 5/10
If below 5/10, why? The narrator is very clear and did a decent job; however, she needs to avoid southern accents as the H sounded like a backwater hick that was kicked in the head by a mule one too many times. Her other voices were all fine. I did keep my listening speed at 1.2,otherwise it would have been harder to listen to.

Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? Kind of...

The back story... The MCs are flying to NYC and we're sitting side by side on the plane. She is terrified to fly and he is an off-duty Air Marshall. He decides to help keep her mind off the take-off, then notices later that she is watching an erotica movie. One thing leads to another and he gives her a quick O. When the plane lands, they find out they are staying at the same upscale hotel. The story grows from there.

Romance or Gist: The author did a very good job of showing the blossoming attraction between the MCs. She did lose me with the continuous negativity (just a guys perspective)

The drama explosion... When they are able to get to the airport to fly to their next destinations, he becomes a complete idiot.
Did it feel Real, OK or contrived? Kinda real
Was it OTT? The angst was
Separation involved? Yup
Was it resolved properly or rushed? Properly

Final Notes... It may sound like I didn't like the story but I actually did. I might have skipped forward a bit (maybe 5 minutes in the first half of the story but ended up skipping maybe 30 minutes during the last 80 minutes of the story. The relationship develops in a believable way and both MCs value themselves based on their work prowess to the detriment of their personal relationships. I know people just like this so it definitely resonated. Had the angst been cut in half during the last 90 minutes of the story and the narrator not tried so hard on the 'southern' accent, it would be a 4 Star for me!

4 “Fear of flying + snow” Stars

ARC via NetGalley.

Thank you, Entangled Brazen.

Okay, so this book was hot. I mean, it was snowing and these characters were stuck in New York City because of the storm, but everything from page was HOT.

Something else I also knew from page one? That I was going to really like this.

Abby has an amazing voice, the kind that makes you smile, then giggle, then laugh in a matter of a few paragraphs. I immediately connected with her and her fear of flying, because OMG HOW CAN PEOPLE NOT FREAK OUT WHEN THEY’RE ON A PLANE? I swear I don’t know. Abby’s reactions were hilarious.

Then enter Gage, super confident with flying since he’s an Air Marshal. He sits next to Abby and helps her through her fear in a… let’s say, unconventional way. Everything from that moment on gets a hundred degrees hotter because those two together could blow the airplane just with their chemistry. I mean, that under-the-blanket scene? I need a moment just thinking about it.

When the flight lands, Abby and Gage decide they need more of each other and spend the night together. Hot. Then the next day together because a snow storm cancels all their flights. Hotter.

Look, this is an Entangled Brazen book, which means you’ll get a lot of sex scenes. A lot. So if that bothers you, then maybe try something by other imprints, like Bliss or Indulgence. Brazen usually delivers what it promises, and “Landing the Marshal” excelled in that department.

Don’t get me wrong. The characters are likable and interesting, and they do interact in other ways that don’t involve sex, but their physical connection is a huge part of the story. And you won’t hear me complaining.

I really liked Abby. I loved her occupation and how she was a woman in charge of her career and had aspirations that didn’t involve a man and kids. Nothing wrong with wanting the white picket fence AT ALL, but it’s refreshing to see something different. I also loved how Gage was the one connected to his family, and not the other way around. It made him instantly likable. The scenes with his little niece were adorable.

I also loved how the author found a way to write a satisfying ending without ruining the characters and their careers. Great call!

If you're in the mood for a super sexy read with likable characters, you should definitely give this one a chance!

If you are one of those people who hasn't clutched the armrest, grabbed a seatmate or made a sound during a turbulent flight; or been grabbed by a nervous flier, here's a gold star for you because you are definitely in the minority. For us readers, that's how an author makes her characters easy to relate to and the opening pages of this book completely sucked me in because, while I haven't been as lucky as Abby to land a hot guy that way, I could totally be the one flipping out like she did.

For a woman that loves to be in control of herself and everything around her, flying is the one thing Abby Winters has no control over and with a job that comes with a significant amount of travel, that's a big deal for her. Until she's lucky to land a seatmate who makes her lose control in very delicious ways and takes her mind off her fears.

When it comes to long term relationships, his personal commitments make them impossible, but when you need someone to rock your world for one night, Air Marshal Gage Michaels is your man. But for Abby, he can make it a two-nighter. And who knew that she is the one woman who can make him re-think his no-commitments rule? And how can they make it work when they live on opposite sides of the country?

I haven't read anything from Ms. Blackwood before now but with this book she put herself on my authors-to-watch list.

Why did I enjoy it so much? Because it combines sizzling passion with fun, likable characters and a touch of humor, all three things that I love in a good book. In addition, Gage showed that he respected Abby and her job and even his interactions with his sister show a really dependable and steady man. For Abby, all it took to get her to loosen her grip on control was a man who accepted everything about her and didn't belittle her in any way.

LANDING THE AIR MARSHAL is a sexy and entertaining insta-love story done right.

This was a fun, sexy and highly enjoyable read by Jennifer Blackwood. In it we have Air Marshal Gage Michaels and Hollywood set scout Abby Winters meeting on a plane headed to NYC. The two have an instant connection and attraction when they end up sitting next to each other and Gage offers her "something" to hold on to as she's afraid of flying. This initial meeting sets off what the two are sure will be nothing more than a one night stand that they can both easily walk away from. But nothing goes according to plan when a snow storm leaves them snowed in and in the end the two aren't sure they can walk away or if they even want to.

This is my second book by this author and I definitely don't intend for it to be my last. In this story she gave me characters that were really easy to relate to and likable to boot. Abby is a career woman who wonders if she will ever find a guy who will understand and appreciate her for all of her busy, over scheduling, sometimes prim and sometimes improper ways. Her past relationships have left something to be desired in the way of understanding partners and in the way of physical satisfaction. When Gage comes along she is still skeptical and suspicious as he starts seeming too good to be true. She's unsure if she should chance letting her guards down when she's only supposed to have a short time with him.

Our hero Gage is dealing with the same issues as Abby just in reverse. He has lost relationships in the past because they couldn't accept or handle the demands of his job. He was beginning to lose hope that he would ever meet someone that might get it and he wondered if maybe a relationship just wasn't in the cards for him no matter how much he might like one someday. When he meets Abby she causes him to break all his personal rules and starts making him realize just what he wants in life. But whether he can have it is the question when the woman who's consuming his mind lives across the country from him.

This is a well written story with a great flow and characters I was rooting for. It was on the lighter side with out much angst but with a perfect amount of steamy moments. I loved the ending and how things worked out for every one. I hope to see more of these two characters in the upcoming books in this series and can't wait to see what this author has up next.

After reading the Rule Book by Jennifer Blackwood, I wanted to read Landing the Air Marshal when I saw the cover and book description.

I marked to get hands on the book once it was out but was surprised and elated when I got an option to review it. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity and started once the book landed in my inbox!

But real life gets in the way and I had to wait till I got things done, so I can get back to reading once I was up this morning.

Landing the Air Marshal was a quick, steamy and entertaining read. Yet again, Jennifer Blackwood nailed it. It was a page turner that retained my undivided interest. I absolutely loved the banters, sexy liners and conversations between Gage (Air Marshal) and Abby.

Abby has a fear for flying and the flight she boarded was expecting some turbulence - talk about luck! When she was freaking out and having a near meltdown, a sexy stranger walks up to her row and asks if he can take the seat near her. Talk about timing and universe working against or for you in this case ;).

They connect once Abby gets handsy ;) due to her fears and Gage couldn't help his attraction and their off the charts chemistry. They get some in-flight action and once they land, decide to spend the time they have till Gage's next flight together. Then comes the snowcalypse! Who doesn't love to get trapped due to a snowcalypse with a sexy, dirty talking and HOT Air Marshal who knows what to do with the off the charts chemistry?

As Gage chips down Abby walls and plans, their two nights become sweet, sexy and steamy and also, both realize they want more time with each other. But what happens when two career-oriented and stubborn individuals meet and fall for each other? Right! What happens when reality hits? Do they try and work around the issues (living in two different parts of the world) to seize their HEA? Read Landing the Air Marshal to know more about their journey and if or not they make it!

Landing the Air Marshal is the first book by Jennifer Blackwood I have read and it was an absolutely adorable read! Abby and Gage are seated next to each other on a flight from LA to NYC. When severe turbulence strikes, Abby grabs ahold of Gage. She's frightened but also mortified that she just grabbed a stranger! She tries to play it off by watching a movie for work.

Gage is attracted to Abby from the beginning. Being an Air Marshal he has certain responsibilities- upmost being professional whilst keeping everyone safe. He's off the clock on this flight though and Abby is very intriguing! And then to make matters worse, she's watching a movie that borders on being a porno! And she's getting into it! Maybe she may be willing to have a little fun? You know to keep her mind off the flying.....

What likeable characters Abby and Gage are! Their chemistry is off the charts! The premise is fun and oh so titillating!! I loved how they seemed very down to earth, kind, and willing to try a little kink on an airplane! How fun this story was!! I was hooked from page one! The characters were engaging and I truly wanted them to realize their connection doesn't happen every day! I didn't need to worry. The author did a great job of giving us the HEA that we crave along with a very fun-loving storyline that I would not hesitate in recommending you read. A wonderful intro to the Snowpocalypse series!

4.5 stars/4 flames

"What the fuck was that? A connection that intimate should not be possible between complete strangers."

"Sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment. Life will pass you by if you're too busy to notice it."

Landing the Air Marshall is a quick and sexy read. It follows the story of Gage and Abby. One of Abby's biggest fears is flying. However, her latest flight proves to be more interesting than she ever anticipated. You see, that is where she meets Gage. He has a way about him that just makes her forget everything around her. He makes her want to be bold and unafraid to go after the things that she wants. And what she wants is to spend one unforgettable night with Gage.....

I'm just going to keep this short and sweet and tell you that I really enjoyed this book. I thought it paced really well and I devoured this book in just a few short hours. Gage and Abby were very entertaining. Not only did they have intense and scorching chemistry, but I loved seeing them interact with one another. Their relationship could be described as a case of insta-love, but I think that with this story-line, it worked really well.

Landing the Air Marshall is a fun and sexy read. It is well written and the story flows easily. Gage and Abby will entertain you, captivate you and have you living out your wildest flight fantasies. I enjoyed every minute of this book and look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Landing the Air Marshal by Jennifer Blackwood is a sexy snowpocalpyse one-night stand which scorches the page! Abby Winters hates to fly but with her job as a location scout for film and television projects she has to grin and bare it. When a sexy stranger sits beside her on a flight to NYC he forces her to relax in ways she didn't think could happen to her on a plane. Air Marshal Gage Michaels isn't on duty flying to NYC but he knows this is crossing the line but he can't resist just one night with sexy Abby. When one night turns into two and it's hard to walk out the door and leave the feelings behind them.

OMG this book rocked my world. Who hasn't fantasized about a hot man one-night stand? Gage is completely swoon worthy and I wouldn't kick him out of the bed for anything! Abby is sweet and endearing and can't help but wonder if Gage could be more than just a fling, a much needed fling. I fell for this book hook line and sinker. It was a quick, light read that took me a day to read because I couldn't put it down. 5 Mile High Stars for Landing the Air Marshal by Jennifer Blackwood

3.5 out of 5 stars

This is the first book that I've read by Jennifer Blackwood and I really ended up enjoying it. Landing the Air Marshall was a quick, steamy and fun romance.

Abby is a workaholic, control freak who is absolutely terrified of flying but wants to see the whole world. Gage starts off as a man that has no time for romantic entanglements but starts to rethink his life and his wants as the story goes on. They live on opposite coasts so they both agree to a no strings attached time while they are together but both end up wanting more.

The chemistry between the two of them was off the charts hot! This is a Brazen title by Entangled so if super steamy moments aren't you're thing then you are probably going to want to skip this one because they go at it like bunnies!

My only criticism is that I wish things were tied up a little better at the end. We are left with a really sweet epilogue but the MCs still have no idea where they are going to live...after a year of being together. Things like that bug me a little bit but may not bug other people as much.
